Shannon is an amazing barber who has been cutting my hair and been responsible for my beard for the last 3-4 years. She is literally the only person on this planet that I allow to get close to my beard with anything that can cut hair; I don't even allow myself to trim it. I get compliments on my beard almost daily, and she has all of the products I need to keep it well groomed between my appointments. If you're not into having facial hair, she also does amazing straight razor shaves, which I've had a couple of times when participating in Movember. Shannon also has a great personality and is extremely bubbly, always going above and beyond to get to know you as a person, not just another customer in her chair. read more

I found Shannon about a year ago for my husband and now my he sees her for his haircuts regularly. I love that she is friendly, outgoing and understands the difference between cutting hair and being a BARBER! Men's hair is different than women's and as men's hair thins, specific ways of cutting it can help it look more full and healthy! She gave my dad his first ever straight razor shave a year ago when he was in town to help me pick out my wedding dress. He lives in CO and has gone to people out there and has yet to find a barber with the same knowledge base and enthusiasm as Shannon. She is honest, knowledgable, funny and passionate If I were a guy I'd have her cut my hair! read more

Last year, as a new arrival in the US from the UK, I treated myself to a haircut and straight razor shave from Shannon. It was simply superb! Relaxing, professional and well worth every penny. Shannon is very easy to talk with, genuinely focused on her clients and a perfectionist when it comes to her barbering. I have returned many times and in fact won't go anywhere else - I did get a haircut out of necessity back in the UK during the summer and it just felt all wrong! I can't recommend Shannon highly enough. SD read more

Amazing shave and a haircut! Shannon acts in an extremely professional manner while still keeping it fun and friendly. She is that local barber that can do it all and knows all the tricks of the trade. Highly recommend a shave and a haircut, she's perfect at straight razor shaves which is something I can never find anyways. If you want all your hair gone, a nice trim or style, or a straight razor shave, Shannon is the only barber you should consider. 10/10 I will never go anywhere else again. Conor G. read more

Great experience. Like others have said, Lynn is great. It's her shop and I'm pretty sure she's…read morethe only one who cuts hair, so that's easy and reliable. My wife has cut my hair for years because I've kept it short and using a buzzer is easy. I'll bet it's been 8 years since I've paid to have my hair cut. Well, I finally grew it out and... it's been an experience. I went as long as I could stand and finally had to get it cut. My hair curls when it gets long and it was getting ridiculous. So I got on Yelp and saw what I could find. Hello, non-manly-sounding Perfect Hair Stylist with great reviews. But lots of reviews came from guys, so hey, let's give it a shot. I had no idea what I was asking for other than, "Please clean it up a little and thin things out, because I have no idea what to do with this mess." Lynn was great about it and took things in steps, not over-killing it the first time. It looked great afterward, and I waited until the day after to write this review to make sure it still looked good the day after. (That's always the test, right?) Yep, super easy to work with this morning and still looked great. Perfect experience. And yes, still only $12. It's easy to tip big when a haircut only costs $12 and service is top notch. I made an appt ahead of time and got there a few min early - so she started a few min early as I was the first appt of the day. I was probably in the chair for 30 min as we talked through managing the rats' nest on top of my head. I'd say that's a long time for a guy's haircut. Only $12 for 30 min of quality haircut? I'll be back for sure. Oh, and even if you're only spending $12, credit card is still accepted (with a line to tip if desired). Last note - the place is actually called Perfect Hair Styles (not Stylist). So that's what you'll find on Googlemaps and the sign for the actual shop.
