I reserved an appointment for a five star and five star look or service is not what I received. Very disappointed in the barber named Heath.. If a client asks for a fade and the barber wants a picture to see what a fade looks like then please stand up and walk out of that "barber" shop. Not a great experience. read more

Rapattonis Barbershop - Does this look like a FIVE STAR FADE to you guys? Looks like I still need a haircut.... - Barbers Near Me - Plano, Texas

Been going here a few months now and have tried each barber at least once. You are in good hands with any of them. Love the cut and the conversation and their ability to make a a haircut fun. My best advice I can give about this shop is don't wait to make your reservation cause they fill up quick and for good reason. read more

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, I went in specifically for a straight razor beard line-up, and unfortunately, the lines were quite uneven. To be fair, this review only reflects my experience with the beard service--I haven't had a haircut there, so I can't speak to that. read more

Does anybody like Hall and Oats? That south Philly sound seduced a lot of people with hits like Rich Girl, Out of Touch and Man-Eater! little did I know today Id have my hair cut by a native South Philly guy with classic rock blaring on the speakers overhead. Michael moved to Texas to join his brother who had been here 35 years. last year in August at the height of the pandemic and before we knew if and when there would be a vaccine, Micheal opened Rapattonis Barber Shop. Talk about taking a chance and walking out on a limb. He is still trying to build his business and I found him by accident. Im glad I did because, he's an engaging and nice guy who knows how to cut hair. During the pandemic, I didn't shave or cut my hair. Two months ago, I cut the hair but left the beard. It was time to trim the hair again and he did a great job then trimmed the beard for a fresh look. Ive been very picky on who cuts my hair over the years and always looking for the next cutter to take ove, after my current one flames out. They always seem to do a good job for 2 or 3 years then....I dont know what happens. Hopefully, I can keep Rapattoni for a while. At least till I teach him how to live in Texas! Go get a cut and tell him Guy sent you. read more

Chris was a super cool barber who got me looking sharp. Even waxed my ears (a first for me!) I'll be back.

If you're a woman, I would not recommend this barber. This review is based on an attempt to schedule an appointment at Rapattonis Barbershop. I have been using the same barber for a long time, however I have recently moved to the Plano area and have been looking for a new barber. After a quick Apple Map search of the areas barbers, Rapattonis shop looked like a good choice with an all 5-star rating. I called the barber shop and spoke with Michael. One of the most awkward conversations I have ever had ensued. Basically, Michael made me feel like I didn't belong in his barber shop because I wasn't a man. I had to literally say, "I have a man's haircut" to get him to schedule me for a cut, after Michael asked me a series of questions about my hair. I've never had an issue like this before at a barber's shop. I have always avoided barber shops that specifically say they are for men or in some way specify that it's a man's destination. As far as I know, Rapattonis didn't specify that the shop was for men only. I feel like women that have "feminine" looking hair would not be calling a barbershop to get a haircut in the first place. I am attaching a screenshot of the appointment information. I did not show up for the appointment. read more

I can't say enough great things about Rapattoni's Barbershop. It's a very clean and has an amazing atmosphere. Most importantly though, everyone that works there is extremely talented and friendly. It's a true barbershop experience with great conversations and comical banter. Support local small businesses and give them a visit! read more

Have a handsome man in your life? Want to make him more handsome?? Make an appointment here. Michael Rapattoni gave an amazing haircut, listened to his client and make my son feel great (after a horrific cut at another place). I really can't recommend Rapattoni's high enough. Sit back, relax and listen to one of the best playlists around while getting a great cut. read more

Michael has been cutting my hair for a good number of years now, and I have followed him to the various places that he has cut. Not only is he an excellent cutter, but his new location is amazing. A lot of what is important to me as a customer is not just that it is a good cut, but that the shop is a place that I am excited to spend my time in. As someone who gets a cut every few weeks, if I don't get good vibes from a location, I won't be back. From the music, to the atmosphere, to the lounge area, this place checks all the boxes. I loved my first visit, and there will be many more to come. read more

Best fade I've gotten in a long time. Jared does a phenomenal job and really knows how to cut hair. I've gone to several barbers around the DFW and so far Rapattoni's has done the best job. read more

Got my Covid overgrowth trimmed by 10" and came out as a different person! No more elastic bands for me!

My son has been going to Michael the past 4+ years when he was at Finley's and Dapper, and we are thrilled he's branched out on his own. He's the real deal! We have always really liked his cuts and my son is always getting compliments. His attention to details and service are amazing. He cares about his customers and it shows. Highly recommend! read more

I moved out of Dallas, but come back a few times a year. A few days ago, I scheduled a haircut with Michael based on reviews for the barbershop. I've had my haircut with him at Finley's in Plano when I lived in the area, but since then, he's struck out on his own. Time and time again, Michael delivers a superior haircut and beard shave, with strict attention to detail. He had me in and out promptly at the scheduled time. He also a joy to be around and is easygoing and great to talk to. Whenever I'm back in town, I'll be back to see Michael again. read more

My new favorite barbershop - I won't be going anywhere else if I can help it. My first visit, I sat down and told Christian a bit about how I wanted my hair, and he very quickly was able to figure out all the little details about my hair that I didn't even know. Gave me a cut that looked fantastic and kept looking fantastic as it grew. read more

Came in here today to get my hair nice and clean for the Christmas season. I just moved to this part of the metroplex and Rapattonis came with glowing reviews from a close friend. I can confirm this is the place to go for that clean look. Christian is the man, my hair has not looked this sharp in awhile. read more

Michael has been cutting my hair for about 5-6 years now. Always a great cut and better conversation. If you're in the area check him out!

Always a great cut and a great experience! So glad that Michael finally has his own place, and what a cool place it is! Roomy and relaxing with great decor, Rappatoni's is the best place for a haircut in Plano. The prices are a bargain for the expert service you get here. Michael is the epitome of a people person, so be prepared to make a new friend and to walk out of there looking your absolute best. read more
