Our garage door was broken so we called them out. We told them we could only be home until 4pm and they gave us the window of 2-4pm. We made sure we were home during that time. Unfortunately, it was for no reason because nobody showed up or called. We called them and they said they would come tight then and only take a minute to give an estimate for the work. Well no estimate was provided and they just started the work without any communication. When I heard drilling I asked if they were going to provide an estimate or what? And the workers said, ya, it's almost done, it's $450. No approval, no paperwork, nothing. I was late to my appointment and they said we could leave them locked in the garage, but as we were going to leave they kept having to go through the house to get things from their truck. I didn't want to leave them locked in the hot garage but we really had to leave. The whole situation was so incredibly frustrating. Then the office girl called me to collect payment and made it 100 times worse. I was trying to explain to her that the process was really stressful and she said, "ok so then I'll just have them go back and undo everything they did" .... Are you serious? What kind of customer service is that? What a terrible representation for their business. Had she said, "I understand how that was frustrating. We should have come when we said we were/communicated/provided an estimate/explained what we were even doing/honestly anything? It would have been different. Things happen, I get that, but have accountability and communication. It's very very basic customer service. We paid, we're done with them, but we will never use this company again.

I texted him the photos and video of the garage motor. He stated it look like I needed a new garage motor. When I questioned him why he never responded back. In addition, I told him that my sensor had been knocked down and when I hold the garage opener down the garage door opens completely and if I hold down the button again it closes completely. We had an old swing out garage with springs on the edges and it was a safety concern we've wanted to fix since moving to our home. Sam gave me email quotes and then happily came out to see what we were working with. He gave us all our options on door styles, motors and door openers. We selected a simple door design, mid grade motor that comes with app connections (cool!), and asked for pin pad. The price was a good value compared to Costco and Home Depot so going with a local small business was definitely the choice for us, and we couldn't be happier! Within a week of getting the quote and visit, we paid our deposit and the crew was there installing our new garage door. The other companies said it would take 4-6 weeks or longer to get a new door and that we'd have to move our current storage racks or cut them down. Sam said we had plenty of ceiling space for a higher track installation and we didn't have to move or ruin our current storage racks. We are beyond grateful for this! I know it was a bit more work on their end, but we really appreciate being able to keep our storage racks intact.
