He was direct with the quote and what they could offer. Made the process very simple from quotes, scheduling and installation. On the day of the install, AJ and Leo came by and were very efficient with their time for the install. At the end, they walked me through the new device including pairing for the keypad, installing the application, and garage remotes. They kept insisting to walk me through the HomeLink process but I declined at the time, but I appreciate it. They gave me all the information I needed including when next maintenance could be done. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I can't recommend ProTech Garage Company enough! I initially called another garage company, who replaced my spring. However, my garage door continued to jerk as it went up and down, so the actual problem was never truly fixed. They then told me my wheels were bad and that I needed to replace them and have my garage door realigned for an additional $300. I decided to get a second opinion and called ProTech. They were the only one of five companies I contacted who took the time to actually find the root cause: my rubber garage door seals were extremely worn and tacky, causing them to stick to the garage door. This was making the door jerk and likely contributed to my spring failing. ProTech fixed the actual issue at a very reasonable price and even included a complimentary wheel alignment, even though my garage really didn't need one. Their customer service was outstanding. They were on time, texted me before arriving, and were precise, clean, efficient, and professional from start to finish. So my husband comes home from the market at 12:00 and OC es through the front door saying the garage door isn't opening. He goes out and looks and notice the spring is broken. Our garage door cable snapped, fell off track and jammed itself at a lopsided angle after 9pm on a week night! We contacted our usual, and highly recommended longtime Garage Door Repairman in the Chino Hills area who reports to be of emergency service 24/7 and could not even get a call back from a technician. This is the third time that I have used Protech to service my garage door needs. I gave them a call because my garage door opener stopped working and due to a previous repair I know it was due to a bad board. When I called Protech someone picked up the call right away and got me scheduled for the next day. When the next day came, Gus the service technician, called to let me know when he was going to show up. True to his word he showed up at the exact time that he said he was going to be there. Gus quickly confirmed that the issue was the board and then repaired the opener with a spare board that he had. The cost for the service was more than reasonable and Gus went above and beyond checking the rest of the openers mechanics to make sure that the opener was working the best that it could.
