Found out my garage spring broke on sunday night, and sent a message to the owner, and she responded within 2 minutes (5 star service). More than fair price quote (the best quote i got out of 5 companies), and the technician Raul was able to come out early this morning to rescue my cars being stuck in the garage. Only took him 20 minutes to finish the job and he went beyond to do all the checkup and leveling to make sure my garage door closes completely and smoothly. You don't have to look elsewhere for any garage repairs or installation, this is the only place you need to get things fixed properly and save yourself some bucksss. Earned my confidence back to hire contractors again on Yelp.(had some horrible experiences before)

Went through Yelp to get quotes from multiple places. This place had the best price and the best service. Very responsive. They sent out a technician within a day to come look at my garage, measure and show me samples. The technician was very nice and explained the different types of door materials. He also said my garage motor was installed incorrectly and he would fix it when they do my door. I agreed and gave them a small down payment to order the door. Two days later they were back to install the new door. Everything was done in a very short time. Work looks fantastic, they removed and discarded old door, fixed my motor install like they said they would. I highly recommend

Thank you to Vicky and Raul from R & E Garage Doors. Vicky has awesome client communication and coordination. Raul arrived right on time and quite frankly, a wonderful guy. Very friendly. Over the phone, I told them I needed my springs replaced and my traveler was broken. This is what I was quoted for. After arriving and taking a look. He said the release was fine and didn't need any repair. His honesty saved me $$$. Period. I would have paid for an unnecessary repair but didn't need to. True professionals. They have been nothing short of outstanding. The best experience by far from a repair and maintenance service company. Oh, and they oil it, inspect it, and do some minor maintenance like tightening bolts afterwards. My garage door is the most solid it has been since we bought our home. Very thorough. Tested it right in front of me and gave me a proper receipt. Hassle free and they get it done for far less $$$ than the other places I considered and they accept Venmo which is quite convenient. The whole repair took about 30 minutes and it was done right. Thank you R & E Garage Doors. A very satisfied customer.

Do not ever use this company. They will do terrible work and then claim their service warranty doesn't apply. I paid them over $250 for a service on my garage door when it would have cost that much just to buy a new unit. They refused to even come out and troubleshoot their work. They came out and charged a $75 diagnostic fee and found the main board on the opener had failed. They then made me get a replacement board from Genie and then charged me $175 to replace the board. The board failed within 3 weeks and they will not even look at the unit without me paying another diagnostic fee. This company is a total scam!!!! No honor - no pride in the way they work. Just horrible people read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Technician Raul took only an hour to removed Genie garage opener replaced with Chamberlain garage opener. I've called 5 garage repairs got 3 quotes from $650-$750. So, Ive decided to shop at Home Depot and was surprised they offer local contracted garage door opener installers. I've bought the Chamberlain B6753T garage opener bundle + 8' extension kit + labor + tips (cash) $520 From Home Depot online ordering to delivery then installation within 3 days! Home Depot customer service is excellent! R&E called making sure parts arrived before arrange installation appointment. Technician Raul called Friday morning arrived on time got the job done hauled away the old parts free. You'll gonna love R&E!! read more

Responsive and Honest. To be clear, I did not use them but I'm rating their customer service, specifically a woman named Vicki. I put out a yelp quote and they responded very quickly. They seemed to be the only ones who read my detailed problem and gave me some simple steps to diagnose. They correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone while others wanted to schedule a in-person consultation. I should add that they responded an hour before they were open and Vicki was walking me through the diagnoses and the proposal while driving to work. That's commitment! In the end, I had a contractor on their way over already. Vicki made sure I was informed enough to vet the contractor. I should note that I had to haggle a bit to get the other contractor's price down but Vicki offered their lowest price upfront which was inline with the final offer I negotiated with the other contractor. So if you don't know if you're going to get ripped off on price, I suggest going with R&E Garage Doors or at least talking to them first. read more

Requested a quote for a project to install my garage door opener. Their estimate was one of the, if not the lowest. They were very communicative and prompt with scheduling a day and time for service. George showed up first thing in the morning as I was the first of 6 on his schedule that day. He started working and finished installation in about 45 minutes (I timed him from the call saying that he would be there soon) including testing of the garage door. Afterwards, he was very prompt with the paperwork and payment. So far, the garage door works perfectly! I bought a Chamberlain 0.5hp garage door opener with wifi capability and 2 remotes. Altogether with installation and a labor warranty of 12 months, it cost about $500. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the service they provided. I would recommend them to anyone in my family. read more

R & E was phenomenal! Top notch service. Really appreciated all the help along the way. My brand new chamberlain garage door opener broke after only a month of purchase through lowes. I tried calling the manufacturer, but had the worst experience ever, so I called Vicky and she sprang to action to help. I was able to get a replacement from Lowe's and get the garage door fixed. She even stayed late to help me and get everything sorted. I'll never go anywhere else again for my garage door needs. 10/10 would recommend P.S. Whatever Vicky gets paid, it should be doubled. I got one of my garage doors springs broken, and I went on Yelp to find some companies that could fix the problem for me. R & E Garage Doors promptly got back to me with a very good quote, which I accepted as my favorite. Raul came over, replaced the broken spring in 15 minutes, told me how to take care of it for the time being, and in the end, I paid him a little bit more than I expected. But I was ok with that... the fact is: Raul came back after a few minutes, apologizing for the misunderstanding and the higher price he asked me to pay, and gave me back the difference in cash! What an amazing person and experience! This never happened to me. From the start Vicky supplied me with various options for a new garage door opener with pricing levels that fit my budget. I especially liked the idea that I could purchase my own from Lowes and they would install and service my existing door. The Technician showed up on time and spent approximately 2 hours to complete the install (which is roughly what they said it would take). By purchasing my own opener from Lowes I saved approximately $150-$200 from what other companies were quoting. I'm extremely happy with R &E. read more

My mom had previously had Raul service her garage door and recommended him. I needed help with my garage door that started going crazy (slamming) when opening and closing. Raul went today and he fixed the problem. He not only fixed the problem, he gave me alternatives. Raul also explained my options by giving me the options which fit better for my needs. We needed two single door garage doors since we were still using the original 40 year old wooden 1-piece type. R & E came out and replaced both doors with sectional aluminum doors. They removed the old doors and cleaned everything up completely. The two workers did a great job in a short time for a fair price. We would recommend R & E for any garage door replacement. read more

Had a garage door opener installed by R&E. They installation went fine. However, they cheat their customers. This was booked through Handy on the Lowe's site. Here is what the installation includes according to the Lowe's website: "What Installation Includes - Installation of new garage door opener to existing structure and garage door - Installation of wireless remote keypad - Test to ensure proper operation - Review of warranty and product instructions with you - Haul away of your old garage door opener - Cleanup of jobsite" Note that is says HAUL AWAY YOUR OLD GARAGE DOOR OPENER The company refuses to do this without an additional charge. They have you over a barrel and are just doing this to get more money for something you already paid for. I would recommend against dealing with this dishonest company. read more

I called a few places before R&E. R&E had one of the best quotes and also took the time to explained what they suspected was the issue, and they were able to send someone in an hour. All of sudden, my garage door didn't work. I opened ip a project and discovered the problem with spring that is broken. R n E garage door replied with estimate amd dispatched the technician promptly. The price was competitive. What Inliked the most is that he honestly told me about the previous technician who put the different size of two springs that did not last. I like it when the technian goes extra miles to tell me the problem and deliver the service as promised. A wheel came off of the track and we wanted to fix it that day even though the garage was opening and closing. I requested a quote from businesses and Vicky messaged me right away with a quote that was much more affordable! She set up an appointment the same day in just a couple of hours as a technician was in the area. He was so helpful and fixed the problem and another issue and let us know we were ripped off not too long ago (which we kind of knew). Raul and his assistant worked with me and the mostly unmovable car I'm restoring to remove old heavy wooden door and install the new light, quite, beautiful steel panel door. The owners of R&E Garage Doors began working at one of the nations largest garage door manufacturers. One of the owners worked side by side with 2 of the biggest known hardware supply stores by assisting them with their customers garage door needs. The owners also worked for 2 different garage door companies that specialized in sales and installation of garage doors and openers. Their experience has allowed them to learn all sides of the garage door and motor industry by introducing them not only to the best quality products, but also to the best installers. Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

R & E Garage Doors provided outstanding customer service, honest advice, and the highest quality of work. Another company exchanged my broken garage door spring. The door wasn't working properly afterwards, and they said it was the motor. I purchased a new motor from Home Depot and installation. (Which was via R & E Garage Doors) I explained the situation to the Tech, he looked at the spring, moved the door up and down manually and told me right away: "It's not the motor, it's the spring. It's too weak for that door." (Keep in mind, the company would only be paid if they do the installation. Yet, he was so honest to tell me that putting in a new motor wouldn't solve the problem). I forgot the name of the Tech, but I was so very grateful for his expertise and honesty. The other company refused to correct the issue they caused, and I hired R & E to replace the spring a few weeks later. Vicki gave me the price over the phone and was extremely helpful. Raul, the Tech, was outstanding, extremely polite, and went out of his way to show me why the door wasn't working correctly because of the spring. He also showed me different springs, pointed out their various specs and differences and explained how they would work slightly differently. He ended up installing a stronger spring than Vicki had quoted over the phone, and they even stuck to the price they had given me for the other spring. The pricing was more than reasonable. I am most impressed and very happy with the outcome. If I unhinge the door from the motor halfway, the door stays just in this position. (When before, it would have come crashing down). Unnecessary to say that the previous malfunction stopped immediately after Raul had installed the appropriate spring. The garage door is working like a charm, now. I received many quotes, including one from Costco to replace my garage door. R&E was one the last companies that I called and was impressed by Vicky's professionalism, the detailed explanation of the options available and reasons to not go with a more expensive option if not needed. The quote with 3 options was in my email the next day and it was the lowest of the 5 quotes I had received. I placed the order on a Tuesday, by Friday the door was ready and was installed that Saturday. Raul, the installer performed an excellent installation job, doing some extra work to make the door fit due to an odd garage doo size at no extra cost. Thoroughly recommend R & E. There were numerous delays with our order that were neither their fault nor in their control. Despite that, Vicky assisted as much as she could in determining what the issues were and putting us in touch with the right people. Once resolved, Raul did a tremendous job with installation. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. He took it upon himself to make improvements on the original framework as well as insuring that the spaces around the sides and bottom of the door were well sealed. Called in the morning in regards to a broken spring and the lady was able to explain and give me a quote for the replacement. She gave me a 2 hour time window that afternoon.
