Their technician Raul was right on time at the beginning of the service window. He removed my old opener and installed the new one in about an hour and a half. He worked quickly and steadily, and was notably efficient by keeping all of his tools and mounting hardware close at hand and organized. He patiently and politely answered all of my questions as he worked. Most importantly, he provided a very valuable extra service by enhancing the sturdiness of the installation. In particular, he volunteered to use some heavy gauge aluminum channels he noticed that I had stored in the garage in place of the thinner mounting channels supplied with the opener. Similarly, he offered to use an additional length of heavier channel as a cross brace along the back as a supplement to the installation instructions for the opener. The resulting installation is rock solid, with the opener mounted very rigidly to the garage framing. The exceptionally sturdy mounting is undoubtedly the reason that the operation of the chain drive opener is surprisingly quiet; in fact, the only notable noise is the low rumbling from the door itself, the same sound as if it were being opened and closed manually. One of my garage door springs broke unfortunately and I prayed God would help me find a good company to come repair it. I've had a few friends use other companies that didn't service them well. I sent in a Yelp request Sunday evening and they responded within a few minutes. Bonilla had amazing customer service and a good quote on the pricing. They came by early the next morning and Raul repaired it in less than 20 minutes. He too was very kind and helpful. The pricing was good as well. He explained that my door needed bigger springs than the one that was previously on my door but gave me the same price as was quoted for the smaller springs. I can see why this business has 5 stars. They're extremely honest and I'd highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. I was undecided if I wanted to have a brand new garage door installed or simply have my broken torsion springs replaced. Raul arrived, inspected my garage door a bit, and said my door is still in good shape and that a new installation wouldn't be necessary. Deep down inside, I had the same feeling in a way. But the mere fact that he didn't come up with reasons to upsell me goes a long way. R&E doesn't seem to be motivated by greed, but more to provide good quality service. Unfortunately, they canceled the first appointment but let me know of the issue right away and rescheduled the following week when I was available. They also contacted Lowe's due to a discrepancy on the haul away fees and Lowe's made it right and paid them for haul away on the old opener.
