GV were professional, accommodating and quick. Their prices are very reasonable. In fact, I did quite a bit of price shopping before I settled on them. And I'm glad I did. We're very happy with the garage door we have. read more

Had the pleasure of finding GV Garage Doors through Facebook marketplace. I was interested in an all black glass modern garage door. I couldn't believe the price I was quoted, I surely thought it was too good to be true. German, the owner, showed up and confirmed the measurements of my garage and gave me an accurate quote. With my sporadic schedule being a first responder, I asked German if he was able to squeeze in a last minute appointment same day. Needless to say he delivered! He showed up on time, made quick work of the install, hauled my old garage door in under 3 hours. This garage door is 510 lbs but you can't even hear it open and close from the inside of my house! This was hands down the EASIEST home improvement transaction I've ever done. If you were not convinced of his near 100% satisfaction review please let my review persuade you to do business with GV Garage Doors! read more

German, owner of GV Garage Doors was the first to follow up with me on a repair estimate request I submitted to 3 different companies the evening prior. He was very responsive, provided me an accurate and very reasonable quote, and was able to book my repair the same day (which happened to be a Sunday!) German messaged me 30 minutes prior to his arrival and was able to complete the repair to perfection! My garage now operates like it's brand new thanks to his amazing workmanship! I honestly can't reiterate enough how positive my experience w GV garage doors was! Last night I backed my car into my garage door while it was still opening and in a panic reached out to German to see if it was fixable or not. He immediately communicated to me that he wasn't in town but would be available the following morning between 8-9AM which worked perfect for me. After showing my dad the damage, we both honestly thought I was going to need a whole new garage door system, which is why I'm soooo so glad I reached out to German. Due to his knowledge and expertise, he was able to actually fix something that we swore was unfixable in less than an hour. He was very honest and candid about the problems and had a solution for how to fix everything. He never tried to upsell me on anything I didn't need (which means so so much to me) and was very reassuring and honest. I was so impressed by his professionalism and skill that I recommended him to my dad, who's garage door hasn't been able to electronically open or close for around 2 years. My dad has high standards and really values direct communication, quality workmanship, and honesty--especially when it comes to fair pricing. German not only embodied each of these qualities but went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations in every way. Overall, we cannot be happier with the work that GV Garage Doors produced and look forward to working with him in the future. read more

My review is long overdue! I messaged GV Garage Doors last minute after getting off work, and German was able to come out later that evening. I was so impressed and relieved because I couldn't get my garage door to close. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. The quote he gave me was exactly what he charged. No surprises, which I really appreciated. He was honest, on time, and kept great communication throughout the whole process. I'm very happy with the service and highly recommend GV Garage Doors! read more

My spring broke late afternoon so I requested a quote from numerous businesses. German responded right away and came out that same night to replace my springs...on top of that, he had the best price out of all my quotes. It was after 7pm and after what I'm sure was a full days work, he was pleasant and super professional. I 100% recommended him. read more

My previous garage guy no longer working but thanks to Yelp, I found a few with excellent reviews. German's quote stood out for the extra stuff he offered to do. He texted me in advance before showing up and on time as promised. Repair was done fast and professionally, and no upsell! His brother as his assistant is also helpful and helps things move faster. I appreciate the repair and I will be contacting him for future garage work and replacement, and I am confident to refer him to my family & friends read more

Needed to replace a very old single very loud panel garage door. GV has friendly and speedy service, great garage door, and a competitive price. German was very nice in person and online. Responses were quick and informative through yelp. I didn't have any fancy requirements as my HOA provided all the specs required, but GV had my doors in stock. Pricing was lower than most other garage door installers. German took less than 3 hours to complete the work on his own, including removal of the old door and opener, installation of the new opener and door, and making adjustments to the hardware to fit my garage (he even adjusted the door rails so that he wouldn't have to install the extra cost low-head rails). He left the area clean after he finished. The door was whisper quiet, much less noise and vibrations than my old door. I also like that the opener has an associated app that I can use to open the door remotely. Now I won't have to worry about forgetting to close the garage. read more

My garage door has been broken for a while. I finally broke down and started looking into getting it fixed. I was nervous it was going to be the motor. I reached out and got a quote within minutes. They came out and took them about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and about 15 minutes to fix. They thoroughly tested the garage door and everything worked perfectly. The cost was less than what I expected. I was very pleased. I will continue to go to them with all my garage door needs. read more

German came out to replace the two springs on my large, custom, glass garage door today. He came by the day before to measure the springs and provide an estimate. I did get 3 other estimates from a couple of other people (also from yelp with great reviews) and German's (GV) price was THE BEST. He said he could have the springs the next say and showed up on time with the correct parts, completed the repair, and I'm good to go. I can tell that the job is perfect because I can manually operate my door with or without the electric opener, with very little effort. Also, with one of the springs previously broken, my motor was having to work extra hard (which would have eventually caused it to break). Thanks German for a great job and a great price for the fix! read more

oh boy, i was so stressed this morning when i tried to open my garage and heard a loud long noise! i used the yelp feature that sends out my request to businesses that service my area and GV garage doors (german/owner) was the first one to respond. not only was german the first to respond but was also the only one to send me an estimate up front. all of the other businesses took probing and once probed, they all priced well over german's quote. i responded to german and he was at my house WITHIN AN HOUR! and then about an hour later, we had a brand new garage opener! he even helped us program our access pad. this was such a great find and experience. i highly recommend GV garage doors! read more

WOW One of the best repair services I've ever had...and also the cheapest out of any company I called! I needed my garage door repaired ASAP. I contacted a bunch of companies on yelp, and they all wanted to come for an estimate or weren't available. GV gave me a flat rate estimate via text (by far the cheapest out of any company i called), was at my house in 20 minutes, and was done in less than 30 minutes. One of the wheels came off the rails and the cable came loose. They fixed it so quickly and even got my old garage door to be WAY less noisy. So happy with my service read more

Wow, wow, wow! I received A++ service from German today! Two of our three garage doors decided to stop functioning properly and I was officially bugging out. I was convinced we needed a whole new system and doors. I had been receiving references from neighbors, but when I did some research on the companies, they just didn't feel right. I put in a request for a bid on Yelp's new Project section. I received responses from several companies but one really stuck out to me. I wrote back to German from GV Garage Doors asking if he could give me a consultation. He had great Yelp reviews (well deserved) and a verified license. He responded quickly and said the consultation would be free, which I appreciated. We set up a meeting time (the very next day) and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He took a look at our doors and, to my relief, he said they didn't need to be replaced. He never tried to upsell me once. He took a look at our motor, the pulley, the tracks, the belts, the tension springs...etc. He said the fix was pretty easy and he could do it right then (huge sigh of relief from me). He worked his magic and I swear our doors work like new. He never overcharged me. He was exceedingly polite, professional, efficient and honest. I cannot recommend him or his business more. If you find yourself in need of an honest, garage door repair and replacement business, do yourself a favor and call German. You will thank me later, I promise! read more
