After 4 months I cannot open garage. Found out the tech only install 1 spring instead of 2. I have been calling and was passed from person to person. After more than a week garage is still not fixed. I guess they do not live up to their satisfaction guaranteed promise. Finally tonight someone came after more than a week wait but demanded I pay $250 to look at what's wrong. He said the parts have warranty but I have to pay for the labor. I told him I already paid $488. So he ended up leaving since I was not willing to pay. The guy that came was very passionate about providing high quality certified garage door service and was able to tell me why he did everything he did. They also lubricated the door for free and were able to put a handle on my manual garage door. I said I was going to think about it. He said he was fine with that. He didn't pressure me into agreeing for him to fix it. Also, his team has the fastest turn around time for being able to come out and Instal our new garage door and in only 2 hours! They removed the old broken door as well and cleaned up after themselves. It was stopping have ways and then all of a sudden it fell off the rails.. it was 4:58 pm and I needed to leave but without closing the garage door. I called the number on yelp and spoke to a woman who said it would be $20 to visit and diagnose and then that $20 could be applied to the work needed to be done. She said a rep Named Nick would call me to let me know what time he could arrive. Within 2 min, Nick called me to say he was 10 min away and had about another 10 min with his client and he'd be on his way. Nick should up in 23 min! Very impressed! He met with my husband, and placed the garage back on the railings! The price was reasonable especially for being an emergency! He said my garage door used a different model or something, so he had to order it separately. OK, no big deal. This happened on a Saturday; he got it in for me on Monday night, which is incredibly fast, since the suppliers close on the weekends. Nick was willing to work according to my schedule, so that I didn't have to take time off from work in order to assist him. He was also done setting up the whole system in under 30 minutes, which was amazingly fast! My new garage door opener works great, and it's much quieter than my opener from before.
