I love the Shane Company, I could go on and on and on and rant and rave but everyone knows they are awesome. I bought my wife's ring here and in the process of picking it out required hours of multiple peoples time that they were happy to give me, it took 6 months to pay for it in layaway and every time I came in was greeted and treated great. I stop by once every 6 months to keep the ring clean and warranty active and every time I stop in I am reminding why I bought there and why I highly suggest everyone buy their ring there, or do as Tom Shane suggests, shop the other jewelry shops around town, then go to the Shane Company, its a wonderful experience. read more

They are wonderful. So helpful. I feel like they work as a team. I got a beautiful ring there. I got it sized, and one of the men messed it up big time. I didn't think it would be fully repaired. A female worked on the ring and it looked good as new. I would recommend Shane Co. to anyone. Also, I believe that man is no longer working there. read more

Edin helped us upgrade my diamond twice now! He is was very helpful in helping us understand what we wanted! Showed us how to look at diamonds and understand the quality. He even brought in diamonds from other stores to help us decide. Edin was great! We will always go back and ask for him! Hopefully sooner than later :) read more

My husband purchased my wedding ring at the Shane Co. about 5 years ago. I absolutely love the ring and haven't seen another one like it! When we go in to have my ring cleaned and the setting tightened we've been met with friendly staff all but one time where the gentleman helping us seemed to be in a bit of a bad mood. 6 mo later when we went in to have it cleaned again we were actually helped by the same man and he was very friendly and polite. Must have just been having a bad day :). Their store is in an area that I'm not too familiar with, but I haven't needed to look up the address or google map it before heading out the door because I remember their address from their never changing radio ads lol. I also don't need to look up what time their store opens or closes for the same reason...genius! I highly recommend the Shane Co. read more

Sales people are so rude @ Shane Co. I went in to look for an engagement ring and was ignored for a good 20 minutes and then passed off from salesperson to salesperson until I gave up and left. I even had money to spend that day.... I felt like Julia Roberts on Pretty Woman. Jared the Galleria of Jewelry down the street took great care of me and I will be doing all of my shopping there. read more

I have had to have my ring resized a few times due to some weight loss and also cleaned a few times since purchase. Still absolutely in love with the staff. Edin still remembers us from our initial purchase there and makes sure to stop and say hi. Always great service and amazing people working there. Still could not be happier. read more

I would like to thank Edin at Shane Co. He understands what it means to go above and beyond for the customer. His customer service in impeccable! I have a 15 year back ground in customer service and know what it takes as the general public is not easy to please. He took great care of me and his radiant smile never left his face! I am so happy my fiance and I picked Shane Co. for my ring! If you go there ask for him you will not be disapointed! read more

I bought my wife's engagement and wedding ring at the Shane Co. When I was looking for the rings I went to many locations but ended up at the Shane Company because the other places were pushy and tried to sell me inferior jewelry. At the Shane Company I felt that I could make the decision by myself with helpful input when I needed it. The sales people were not pushy at all. There is a great selection there and It is all quality. The best part about the Shane company is they will resize, clean, dip and upkeep the jewelry for life! If a stone falls out they will replace it with the same quality of stone. My wife and I have had to go in a few times to get her rings cleaned and we had to have it resized as well. Each time we go in the people who work there were very helpful. They did not try and sell me something else and they took the time to help us. They don't have to try and sell me something else because the next time I am in the market to buy I will first go to the Shane Company. read more

My fiancé and I had a really bad experience at Jared's in Farmington so I was skeptical to go ring shopping after how bad the experience was honestly but this place was great! The staff doesn't work on commission and they seem to be very genuine and just excited for that big and exciting step in your life! I loved our experience and would recommend it to any of my friends! read more

I love the Shane Co and only want my jewelry from here! My fiance bought my engagement ring here based on a recommendation from his friend. The diamond on his wife's ring came loose and fell out and they couldn't find it anywhere. She was in tears but the Shane Co. replaced it for free because the prong was loose. I love that I get my ring sized and cleaned for free. I go in every six months to have my ring inspected and everyone hurries to help me and are so friendly. I receive a much different response at Kay Jewelers when I go to have my necklace inspected. They leave me standing around waiting and treat me almost like scum when they know I am just having an inspection. The difference in my treatment is glaring as I have both pieces inspected on the same day. The Shane Co. is like the gates of heaven opening up. I have browsed for wedding bands and try things on wile I wait at the Shane Co, and they are so helpful and there is no pressure to buy. A friend was just telling me she just spent $250 having a prong on her wedding band fixed, having the band polished, and re-dipped. I was happy to know that I would be able to avoid those costs because the Shane Co. warranties my ring for free provided I take care of it and have it regularly inspected. In the future I only want my jewelry to come from the Shane Co. because they stand by their product and are so pleasurable to deal with. Zach was especially helpful when I was last in this past Wednesday. Do yourself a favor and buy your engagement ring/jewelry here. You may be able to find something cheaper, (though I doubt it because their prices are exceptional) but you will pay for it down the road. read more

Just purchased an engagement diamond ring from Shane Co. and I'm very satisfied with their quality and service. Special thanks to their diamond consultant Zachary Lam who help me through the whole time with his helpful advice and friendly attitude. I've been browsing their web site, requested them a few times to transfer some diamonds from other stores for me to look at, and I also exchanged my diamond 3 times in the past month. Every time he's more than happy to help me and make sure I'm satisfied with my purchase. If you do your research, you will found that Shane Co. has lower price than most other local big jewelry stores. Some people may say the diamonds are cheaper from on-line store like Blue Nile etc, but personally, I will have to look at the diamond in person, since every diamond is different even they are listed with same grade on the certificate. You will find that you pay a premium price to buy at Shane Co. but are happy to do so because of the convenient locations, the selection offered, friendly staff and their lifetime warranty coverage. read more

I have been shopping at Shane company for over 16 years. My husband and I bought our wedding rings there and he bought my engagement ring there . The sales people are absolutely wonderful you can tell them your budget and they will stick to it as close as they can. Recently my husband bought a Valentine present for me there and the ring is absolutely beautiful. They took the time with him to find the perfect center stone and I get compliments on it constantly. Their selection is unique, I have yet to see my engagement ring on anyone else's hand. I have had several rings repaired there and their technicians are skilled indeed.. The guarantee that they offer on their jewelry is unsurpassed. I would highly recommend Shane company to anyone. read more

This is definitely the place to go for your jewelry needs in Utah. I went there to look for my wife's engagement ring and was pleasantly surprised. I am a no nonsense type of guy, I know what I want and what my price range is. Their staff was all very nice but they paired me up with the right guy. His name is Edin has been my jeweler since. He is very knowledgeable about diamonds and he took the time to find the perfect stone for me in my price range. Months later my wife and I went back in to add a band to her ring, Edin remembered my name and every detail of our first transaction. (This type of attention to detail is what brings me back as a consumer) We now make our way into Shane Co. on a regular basis. In conclusion - Edin's impeccable service, Shane Co's unmatched warranty, and the amazing selection they have on hand has made me a lifetime customer. read more

I bought mine and my Wife's wedding rings here about 8 years ago. excellent service ALWAYS! about a month ago, my wedding band's White gold in the middle of the yellow gold had broken off and separated. I remembered they supposedly had a lifetime warranty (which I had never needed) I took it in and showed it to them and they said "No Problem" took it and and repaired it free of charge! About 3 weeks later it broke the same way. at this point I was pretty discouraged and didn't want to have to deal with it anymore and asked what my options were. They told me that since I am having problems with it, they would give me what I paid for it and apply it toward another ring of my choice. I ended up going with a ring that looked similar but did not have the feature that was causing the problem. There was a $160 price difference because of the price of gold now and the price of gold back then. it was essentially the same ring. the ate the $160 bucks and gave me a straight across trade... what a pleasant surprise. these guys are amazing and know what Customer Service is. Bravo! Ed Price Long Term Customer. read more

I am a FAN of this company. Buy from them, You can trust this company. I live in DC and purchased my soon to be wife's engagement ring online. The design was unique--nothing I saw locally or anywhere else and a great price for platinum. The ring looked better in person than the pictures. Upon a respected third party appraiser, he verified the ring is high quality platinum and appraised for a good deal more than price paid. We had dropped off the ring for resizing and mail-back. (Another good reason to buy, complimentary maintenance and cleaning). However, the shop did not follow procedure and burned on residue onto the diamond when he mailed it back to make it look like someone swapped it for a yellower stone. However, MOST impressive of all--the store manager owned up to the mistake when we brought it to his attention and sent a box immediately to pick up the ring, clean it and return all within a few days. This is TRUST win. This jeweler does the right thing. I have confidence and respect in this store to do business again. read more

I would like to say how happy I am that we chose the Shane Co. for my wedding ring. I lost my 1 carat Dimond out of my ring last week, went to the Shane Co. that night and they instantly took care of us! We had the pleasure of working with Rachel Fullmer who was so empathetic & reassuring! Not only did they replace the diamond but they replaced it with an even better quality diamond in less than a week! It looked like a brand new ring when I picked it up! They completely rebuilt the prongs and the diamond looked so sparkly and new! They even gave my two year old daughter a cute little toy ring Thank you Shane Co.!! You're an amazing company!! read more

My husband and I went to the Shane Co. to look at rings the day we eloped and couldn't have had a better experience. Ashley helped us look for the perfect ring and was willing to look at as many as it took. I didn't ever feel pressured to get one setting over another because they are not paid on commission. After we had decided on a ring and a diamond they were able to set the diamond the same day in 2 hours. I would definitely shop here again. read more

My husband and I got our rings here three years ago and could not be happier with them. The customer service is excellent! After shopping around for months trying to find a unique ring for my fiancé and exactly what we wanted we decided to stop into shane when we were driving by it we fell in love immediately. Beautiful Jewelry and EXCELLENT customer service! The warranty offered on their Jewelry is unmatched in the market! My husband bought my engagement ring at the Shane Company 5 years ago. Edin gave us wonderful customer service then, and again 5 years later! We will never shop anywhere else because we have been so well taken care of at the Shane Company. We purchased my ring 5 years ago, and had not been back until last weekend to browse Infinity Jewelry. Edin helped us in 2008 when we were engagment ring shopping and remembered us when we walked in this December 2013! He remembered our purchase, our likes and dislikes, and BOTH of our first names! Edin helped us with normal maintenance on my ring (which I was nervous about because I am very protective of my ring), and helped us obtain the paperwork needed for insurance. He made the process seamless! Prior to going back to the Shane Company we browsed inventory at other jewelers. Their quality and warranty could not be touched by other jewelers in the valley. Thank you for the wonderful service! read more

My girlfriend and I went to the Shane Co. looking for an engagement ring. MaKinzie was our personal assistant. She was very attentive, picked up on our style fast, and the ring we ended up choosing was one she selected from the back (thinking we would like it). We were greeted warmly upon entering. After selecting the band, we were taught all you could ever want to know about diamonds. I didn't feel pressured into a sale either. The employees are not commission based. After our visit, I looked online and found a better deal. I went back to the Shane Co. and they gave a very reasonable price match. I was impressed with their willingness to work with me. Again, the service was very warm and professional. I am very impressed with the Shane Co. and look forward to having a lifelong relationship with the company. Hopefully MaKinzie sticks around for awhile, cause she rocks! read more

I went to look at rings with my now fiancé :) and the biggest reason I decided on Shane Co. was because I didn't want a ring that 100 other women have. I loved the entire process of choosing a setting and a diamond, everyone there was extremely friendly & helpful through the entire process! I went in an hour before closing on a busy Saturday, and still got amazing one on one service from the minute I walked in. My ring is gorgeous I've gotten so many compliments, and I haven't seen anyone with anything similar :) read more

Don't go here. The sales lady was unbelievably rude to me and told me that my dream setting for a wedding ring wasn't right. She knew nothing about jewelry or metal compositions. She lost interest in the sale so quickly it was shocking that she even knew how to sell anything. Eventually we ended up looking at pearls after she lost interest in our ring sale. Several sales people passed us but didn't say a word to us. The quality of the pearls was an atrocity for the price and it reflected on the faces and personalities of everyone that worked there. read more

This past week I had to opportunity to help my uncle (a first time ring buyer) pick out a ring for his 23rd wedding anniversary. He was reluctant about going but after much convincing we started at Shane Company. Working with Cody was great, easy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cody went over a few ring styles and found the perfect compromise for what my uncle wanted. After going over price and showing us a few diamonds he helped my uncle select a beautiful setting and diamond right in the budget we were looking to be at. With Codys help we were in and out in less than 45 min and even had the ring rushed and ready for my uncle to pick up the next day! I went to Shane Co. in Midvale UT, with a close friend to help him purchase an engagement ring. When we arrived we were asked multiple times if we needed help and an associate was soon working with us. We worked with Edin Salijevic, he gave us plenty of options for pricing with different sized stones as well as a variety of stones. He was attentive and concerned with keeping the ring within budget for us and gave us plenty of time both with him and alone to make a decision on what would make her the happiest. He was clear when explaining the exchange policy and the 8 week no charge alteration policy as well which made us more comfortable with the purchase. Upon hearing that the proposal was happening in the next week Edin put a special rush on the ring, (as it was a semi-mount and needed the stone to be set) to be sure that it would be done in time for my close friend to propose. We both felt very comfortable in the store, the budget set was not scoffed at and we were treated incredibly respectfully, we were not pressured toward the more expensive stones or settings and it was an overall very pleasant experience. Shane Co. truly wanted to help us find the most amazing and beautiful ring for the best price. Additionally, although I did not make a purchase there, Edin noticed my own engagement ring and asked if I would like it cleaned, even though I did not purchase the ring there. This was a free service they will clean your ring as well as check the stones to be sure none are coming loose. It took less than 5 minutes and he returned it to me more shiny and clean than I ever remember it being. I would definitely recommend Shane Co. to friends and family who are looking for quality service as well as a beautiful and very large selection of jewelery. read more

Disclosure--I didn't actually buy here, but I wanted to leave a review for their great customer service. My girlfriend and I went in to look at engagement rings a couple weeks ago. We were just starting to look, and my girlfriend had a bit of an idea what she liked but we wanted to see what was out there. We figured Shane Co. would have a big selection to check out, and I've known their hours and location by heart since I was ten ("At the corner of State Street and 7200 South. Open Monday through Friday till 8, Saturday till 5, closed Sunday." Thanks, Tom Shane.) so we swung by. When we walked in, the saleswoman, Ciara, came over to help us out. Even though we said up front that we weren't buying that day, she spent quite a bit of time walking us around the store, showing us different rings that she thought my girlfriend might like, trying different stones to see what they looked like, etc. At the end of it, my girlfriend had found one she really liked, so we took her card and wrote down the stock number. We then asked about sourcing the diamonds. Both of us are pretty concerned about the ethical issues, and while Shane Co. and pretty much everyone else in America complies with the Kimberley Process, that process has some holes in it (most notably, it only prevents the sale of conflict diamonds if those diamonds are being sold by rebel groups a la Cote D'Ivoire or the C.A.R.; it doesn't do anything to prevent abuses by government forces like in Zimbabwe). She told me that they could trace the center stones to their source so that we could make sure they didn't come from somewhere problematic, or that we could buy a diamond separately (they don't carry lab-grown diamonds, for instance) and have it set in the ring for what turned out to be a pretty reasonable fee. We thanked her and left. A little bit later, I emailed Ciara asking about the source of the channel set stones (the small ones already in the ring). She emailed me back a few days later, apologizing for the delay (she was out of town) and assuring me that they did their best to source stones ethically, even apart from the KP. When I asked for more details, she gave me the name of the store manager, Mike Hart, who had just been in Israel on a buy. I called the store and asked for Mike. He was with a customer, but called back promptly when I left a message. He told me about their sourcing, and explained that while they could trace the larger diamonds, the small stones came directly from the cutters and, while Shane Co. makes all the cutters sign affidavits that they comply with the KP, he couldn't guarantee that the cutters went further than that. I ended up not buying from them because of that (it's also the only reason that they didn't get five stars in this review); it'd be nice if they were willing to set the bar a bit higher, but that's by no means a problem unique to Shane Co. More importantly, however, both Ciara and Mike were very helpful both in person and not, responded to several calls and emails despite not working on commission, did their best to work with me (offering to trace any center stone I purchased, etc.), and were completely honest--it would have been incredibly easy for Mike just to say that the cutters were obligated not to buy from Zimbabwe; since you can't trace the smaller stones there'd be no way for me to know for sure. But the company's reputation for honesty was more important than one sale, and that means quite a bit these days. If I were looking for a solitaire or another ring that didn't have any channel set diamonds, I'd be buying it from Shane Co. read more

Shane Co. gave me one of the most enjoyable visits to a jewelry store I've had in a long time. They helped me browse through their vast selection of engagement settings as well as wedding bands with my fiance. I can't remember her name (but I will totally find out) was super patient and pulled out many settings that she thought I would like. We already had a diamond and just wanted to place it into a new setting. They went over all of their policies and guarantees which then gained our trust in having them do the installing as well. (Originally we were going to just buy the setting and have a family friend do the actual placement of the stone.) They were super professional and guaranteed that it was my diamond that was going into the setting. They showed me the serial number on my stone before and after it had been installed which gave me peace of mind. Their warranty seems amazing although I have yet to take advantage of it. They will clean and repolish and/or dip my ring at no cost at anytime. I know I will be taking advantage of that service quite often. I would suggest Shane Co. for their sheer professionalism as well as variety of product in their store. I know my fiance and I are definitely getting our wedding bands from them. read more

LOVE these people! I bought a pearl ring at Shane Company about 3 years ago. The pearl had fallen without me noticing when I was out shopping about 6 months after I bought it. When I got home, I tossed the setting in my jewelry box and figured it was over for the ring because I wasn't paying to buy a replacement pearl... I figured I'd stop by the store to find out if they could repair/replace the pearl and how much it would cost. Not only were they able to fix the ring but they replaced the pearl free of charge! You just don't get that level of service from many jewelry shops anywhere! Thank you Tom Shane! read more

What a great experience we had yesterday! We have been looking for the PERFECT ring for WEEKS and went to several places nearby all pushing the envelope with our budget and pushing us to finance. We went online to Shane Co.'s website picked out the ring we wanted and then went in the next day. I so wish I could remember the name of the sales lady who helped us! we walked in and were greeted within 2 minutes, we showed her what we were looking at online and she went right to work finding the setting. After that she asked us our budget in total including the center stone . not only did she listen and understand she went BELOW the budget! The other places went above or right at the budget! we are so happy with the Engagement ring we picked out and cant wait to pick it up on in LESS then a week! the other places wanted 2-3 weeks! I'm so excited and cant wait to recommend Shane Co. to everyone! read more
