Zach Lam helped us find our ring here, and he was awesome! We knew exactly what we were looking for, but hadn't been able to find it at about 6 other jewelers. Not only did Shane Co have what we were looking for, but Zach showed us how to select a really good diamond. Easily the most helpful person we talked to out of 6-7 stores in two states. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shane Co and Zach to any of my close personal friends or family. read more

Absolutely great service! Zachary L. helped me and did an excellent job finding me the ring I was looking for. I brought him a picture of another ring and asked if he could find me one just like it, and he did. After I said I'd search around for other prices he made a few nice statements about Shane's good deals and why they were the best choice, but didn't come off desperate or pushy. I ended up purchasing my ring because of him. Thanks Zach! Thanks Shane Co. for a great deal and a lifetime guarantee! I found my friend in the diamond business :) read more

My husband and I bought our rings here in May 2014. We got married last weekend and his ring didn't fit. They were able to work with us since he hadn't worn his ring and were able to get the same ring that fit perfectly. The staff are all very kind, helpful, and we recommend everyone to check them out. Thank you so much Shane Co.!! read more

While taking Tom Shane's advice I comparison shopped other jewelry stores first for an engagement ring for my now wife and went to the Murray, UT store last. I dress for comfort and not for fashion and pay special attention to how I am judged and treated by merchants during my shopping experience. I was greeted my Edin Salijevic and it was very obvious that he didn't care what I had on: He listened to my needs, showed me options within my budget, and was very good at returning emails when I had questions. While talking to my wife, he displayed the same style of respect for her shopping experience. She comments on how he talks to her, and is very impressed on how patient he is during her selection processes as well as his product and inventory knowledge. Because of our experienced with Edin, we are repeat customers and will not shop anywhere else. In closing, The Sane Company, with Edin, provides a great customer service experience every time. Thank you. read more

I hate the radio ads. Tom Shane's voice has annoyed me for as long as I can remember. I did not want to go there to look at wedding rings. But I did, and I am so glad I did. I will go to no other jeweler again. To be fair, I can only rate the only sales person who helped us, but she did an outstanding job. NEVER did I feel pressured. She did not have the typical pushiness of a jewelry sales person that makes buying jewelry such an unpleasant experience. She was very patient and very helpful as we looked through the huge selection of wedding rings (both women's and men's) at least twice. She was very friendly and I was so happy we got to work with her. As for ShaneCo, I loved the selection of bridal rings. There were so many styles to look at, and anything from very small and simple to very flashy and sparkly. The only negative I can say is that I didn't really like their selection of men's rings. We ended up going someplace else for that one, and unfortunately, I will be giving that place a negative review. For customer service, ShaneCo is the best. read more

Great experience with Ciara Brady our wedding ring representative. Very helpful in every way. We are so excited to be able to have such a unique pair of rings. Only 20 made in the world. My partner Emily and I are so excited for our wedding day. Thank you Ciara!! read more

Rachel was very helpful and very knowledgeable, she spent time with us and educated us about the quality of diamonds we were looking at. She showed us several loose diamonds and helped us pick the right size for the ring I wanted. I used to shop at Sierra West, but never again!! I purchased a beautiful ring and 2 pave bands all for less than the cost of a loose diamond at Sierra West. They have a huge selection and very reasonable priced!! Great staff!! Thanks Rachel for all your help. read more

Had such a great experience at the Shane Co last week. I was looking for a new wedding ring for my anniversary - the staff are kind and courteous, and although the store was packed, I felt like everyone was happy to help even when my sales person was pulled away. Zachary really listened to what I wanted, and was conscious of the budget I mentioned. I didn't feel the 'sales push' that I feel at other jewelrs, and felt that he was being honest and open throughout the process. I'm thrilled with the warranty and way they will handle the financials should I choose to upgrade my diamond in the future. My ring is just what I wanted, and the Shane Company made the experience perfect. read more

I bought my wife's wedding ring at Shane Co and the salesman, Cody Kipp, was so good. He was not pushy at all and made sure I was completely satisfied before buying. Every time we come in to get it cleaned they do a great job and are so willing to help. Josh is awesome and always makes sure the rings are done on time and as quickly as possible. I send all of my friends here because they are so good at helping out and taking care of you. read more

Edin was very knowledgeable about diamonds and helpful in our search for a diamond for my wedding ring.

Had an amazing experience with Edin and the Shane Co group!!! I have been shopping at Shane Co for the last 4 years. I have never had a bad experience and a recent situation will have me coming back as a customer for life. I bought my wife's wedding ring while living in Utah and now we are living in OKC. 2 months ago my wife unfortunately lost her center diamond. A friend referred me to Edin at Shane Co and he made a horrible situation into a pleasant experience. We were only in town for the holidays for a short amount of time and he bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule, situation and time frame. He guided us thru a selection of a new center diamond and showed my wife enough diamonds to get her ring to look as close to the original as possible. A natural tendency for any salesman would be to upsale and make a commission on our diamond but Edin was so considerate of our finances and situation and helped us without any uncomfortable sales pitches or pushing us into something we didn't want. He also worked very close with the goldsmith and us to improve the setting of our diamond to make sure this situation never happens again. I would refer any of my friends to Edin and Shane Co. I feel so comfortable there and their approach to sales made a situation such as a lost diamond a pleasant one that my wife and I will never forget and an experience that we can't express enough appreciation for. Customers for life! Thanks Edin! read more

I just wanted to share my experience at Shane Co recently for the purchase of an engagement ring. I can't say enough positive things about my experience and the treatment we received when working with Edin. Not only did my fiancé end up with an amazing ring but we also received excellent education as to what we were buying. We have received so many amazing compliments. Shane Co will definitely have my future business!! read more

I had such a great experience with Edin. Very personable and knowledgeable. He took his time with me and my future fiance knowing I wasn't buying anything that day. He was great at explaining the differences in diamonds. I emailed him not expecting gim to remember me, but he did, remembered the ring and all, of course I ended up going back and buying from him. I couldn't be happier with the service. read more

Shane company service was excellent couldn't have had a better experience, I had Edin help me and he was so helpful in explaining everything to me with patience. If I had to recommend any jewelers it would be Shane's and ask for Edin he's the one you want to talk too. Thanks again Shane's and Edin, you did a great job and I would recommend everyone to your store. read more

I love the Shane Co.! We purchased my wedding rings from the Shane Co. over 13 years ago and needed to have them resized. I went in today with my brother and Angie greeted us with a huge welcoming smile. They said it was no problem to have them sized and would have them ready in just 4 days! Angie explained the way my diamond was cut and let us take a look ourselves. Fabulous customer service with speedy results. read more

My family and I have used Shane Co. SLC years, and I have never been more pleased with a jewelry company. I bought my husband's ring from this location about two years ago, and I was a little disappointed with how it began to wear out. I took it in and spoke with Josh, one of the jewelers, and he sat with us for over 20 minutes and explained all of our options, and different ways of refinishing his ring. He was patient, kind, and considerate. We live out of town, and didn't have much time to wait for the ring to be done. But with only 30 minutes until the store closed, Josh compeltely refinished my husbands ring and it looks stunning! Josh is the definition of great customer service, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my jewelry. read more

I recently purchased a new setting for my engagement diamond from Shane Co. About a month after I purchased the setting, I had to attend military training out of State. It was during this time that I realized I was not pleased with the setting. Upon visiting Shane Co. to ask about replacing the setting with something I like better, I was informed that the 60 day exchange period was already up. They told me that if I were to return my setting, I would get half of its value back, but would still have to pay double that return amount in order to get a different setting. This is frustrating on multiple levels as I was not even in the State to exchange the setting before the 60 days were up, and it shows a company that has zero respect for the service men and women of our country. In fact, when I told this to the sales people, my military service was completely brushed under the rug and disregarded. Think carefully before dealing with this company that touts great customer service but doesn't follow through. read more

I have bought every piece of Jewelry for my wife daughter any myself from Shane Co and had nothing but a positive experience each time. I went in this last valentines day to get my wife pearls as was guided by Eiden to pearls that were exceptional in quality. He provided excellent customer service that that will ensure I continue to go back to Shane Co and ask for him. I recommend them to anyone that wants to get quality jewelry and personnel service at a reasonable price. Thank you Shane Co I look forward to continuing my business with you in the future. read more

I went in to Shane Co. to look for a ring for my future wife. When i was there I was greeted by the sales guys and it was great to say the least! They were more than willing to help out. I had a few ideas for what I wanted and they were able to help me find just what I was looking for. The guy who helped me was named Zach. I would recommend him to my friends and family. He got out a few rings and helped me to get a very nice one with the budget I had. you could tell that he loved helping. He took great care of me. Thanks and kudos to him! She loves to ring!! It was a great choice to go into Shane Co, I am very glad I did. Thanks Shane Co! Thanks Zach! I am positive that if my wife were to write a review she would say the same thing. Thanks again!! read more

I appreciated the service I received at Shane Co very much. The sales person (Zach) was very friendly and showed me exactly what I was looking for. He didn't try to push me into buying something I couldn't afford and everything he showed me was in my price range. After buying the engagement ring additional staff who didn't help me on the day I bought my ring recognized me and helped me get the ring in to be re-sized. The ring was ready when they told me it would be and in addition to the re-size they also made sure they cleaned it and when we got it back it was like new. Very impressive, would recommend to anyone! Thanks! read more

My Fiancée a I bought both of our wedding bands here. It is such a change from other stores where they really put the pressure on. Zach helped us to find the perfect rings and kept our budget in mind. Everything was so perfect and exactly what you could want when shopping for wedding rings. read more

I recently went here with my fiancée, who just proposed to me and gave me his mothers wedding ring. She designed the ring herself and a family friend made the setting. There's a gorgeous diamond in the center. I couldn't be happier with it. It did need to be re-sized, cleaned, and its prongs needed fixing. I have always heard the Shane co commercials on the radio and after much thought, we decided to take it there. The salesman who helped us was very arrogant and, in my opinion, rude. I understand that I did not purchase a $5000 ring here, but definitely thought he could treat me with more respect. He first asked if we knew what the stone was. Right in front of both of us. Then he asked if we had insurance and if we knew how much it was worth etc. making both of us uncomfortable. He never asked about our relationship/engagement or any personal questions. It's like we were a number and with no intention of spending thousands, we were an inconvenience to him. We still had not gotten a ring for my fiancée, and he didn't even offer to show us rings for him, nor did he offer to show us a band for mine. I got the ring back and it did look great, but I think someone else would have been more appreciative of the business. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing the bands here and I will continue to look for a nicer, more caring and personal jeweler. read more

This was a great experience! I lost my wife's wedding ring and done a ton a searching around for a place that had similar styles to replace it with. By far Shane Co. had the largest selection! The rep who helped me (Edin S) was super helpful knowledgable and keep me in my budget while showing me a range of beautiful diamonds. He definitely helped me get more diamond for my $$$. Not only that they have a 60 days cash return option. If you don't like it or want something else somewhere else they will refund you all of your money...and for future upgrades on your ring you just pa the difference. I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to Shane Co. They are amazing! read more

My girlfriend and I just visited Shane Co. We decided to go there because of the super good things we heard about them from friends and family, and the radio commercials. We entered the store and immediately felt awkward. There were like 10 sales associates just standing there watching us as we made our way over to the first display case. We were approached by Charles, who seemed to be the new guy. We told him what we were looking for (a three stone ring) and he seemed totally clueless as to what that was. We asked him to point us in the direction of where we might find what we were looking for, but he never did, he would just say "Let me go look in the back and see what I can find." He did bring out several three stone rings, but we weren't interested in any of them. We feel like we took plenty of time to describe to him what we were looking for, but he never seemed to understand. It's not like we were looking for a super rare style! We see a ton of three stone rings online and in other stores, but Shane Co just didn't have what we wanted. Charles eventually handed us off to Rachel, who was much more knowledgeable about ring styles, diamonds, and the store in general. We felt more comfortable with her, but by this time we mostly just wanted to get out of there and head back to Morgan Jewelers just down the street. We didn't end up buying anything, and we will not be buying her engagement ring from Shane Co. Yeah, the warranty is impressive, but the customer service was awkward, the ring selection (for us) was minimal, and we felt uncomfortable being there after about 5 minutes. I'm sure all of the positive reviews on here are true.. we just happened to get the awkward salespeople on a Wednesday afternoon. I'm sure Charles will get the hang of it someday ;) read more

Great selection and reasonable prices. bought a diamond band engagement ring with some additional diamond bands to go along the outside of it and it took shane co about a week to get them soldered on .not even a month later while we were at dinner with friends one of the diamond bands broke off and it was pretty embarassing. just took it in and was told it would be another week before we can get it back? you would think with a week wait time their jewelers could of done a better job the first time. i might shop there again but i am not sure i would have any work done there. still waiting to see if they do a better job on it the 2nd time and will follow up on here read more

We chose to go to Shane co because I asked my friends who had the best warranty and they said Shane co. When we walked in it was a bit overwhelming. Edin came and helped us right away and made us feel comfortable. There was no pressure and when we told them our budget they made sure to help us stay in and still get what we loved. They were great!! read more

I got a family heirloom egagement ring and took it for re sizing. I was told the value of the ring was $0 because it was "priceless." I remember thinking that was so rude but i went with it because of their reputation. I paid for the re sizing but when i went to pick it up a week later it was too tight. They wanted to charge me but said they wouldnt if i bought my wedding band there. Another week later i picked it up and was very happy it fit. A couple of weeks went by and when i looked down at my ring the stone was missing. In panic i spent the better part of my day on my hands and knees looking for the stone. I actually found it at the office and rushed back to Shane Co to have them set it. They said the prongs holding the diamond were old and that they could re prong it for me at their cost because they should have caught it when re sizing the ring. Another week later i went to pick up the ring and the diamond was not sitting flat! I couldnt believe it and told them to see if they could look at it again. They took it to the back and came out and said it needs a new basket. I almost lost it. Someone could have called me and asked me if that would be something i would want to do. Had i known during the 3 weeks they had the ring they could have told me there was a problem and of course i would have had it fixed correctly. Instead they tried to give me my ring with a crooked diamond and a shoddy fix back! I think they only care about the diamonds they sell. I left and went to another jeweler to have it fixed and also bought our wedding bands. Beware and good luck! read more

The worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life. I walked into the store, walked around for over 5 minutes, looking in cases and talking with my mum who I took with me. We didn't even get so much as a "hello". I made eye contact with several of the employees who just stood there and stared at me then went back to talking. I even approached 2 girls at the counter and they looked at me, then went back to what ever they were doing (one girl was writing out thank you notes, another was just talking to her). I walked over to another side of the store, with 3 employees, again same thing, no one said a word to me. As I am standing here in disbelief a woman walks into the store, and one of the associates walks RIGHT passed me and asks her what she can help her with. I looked at this woman and said "Really?!" and walked out the door. My assumption is that this is ultimately based on my looks, and this is very wrong indeed. I am extremely shocked and livid. I went in with the full intention on making a very great purchase for my anniversary with my husband. They have lost my business, and I will make sure to spread the word, none of my close friends or family will be shopping with this company. read more
