This store is as unorganized as they go. Honestly, I came in while it was super busy. There was no one in the front to make sure we were placed on the waitlist promptly. I had to seek someone to ask them to place us on the waitlist. After waiting more than 20 minutes, the staff kept coming and going and no one was any closer to helping. The staff really does their best to try and appear busy with no one in front of them. Highly suggest just ordering online or visiting the store in Tukwila. read more

Thought they were a reptuable store. Took my wedding ring to get the channel of diamonds adjusted. When I received it back there was one diamond larger and a bump out on the gold portion. Come to find out they lost a diamond and put in another one without letting me know. The only reason I found out is when I took back to complain. I will not be going back and now have to repair my ring with more issues on my own dime. Person helping us made it pretty clear she didn't e at to be there, was very non communicative. Why do we pay $$$$ here for mediocre service for menial cleaning when we can go to Jared's. After years of looking for my perfect setting, I found it online at the Shane Co. I went to the Tukwila Shane Co. and was greeted by very friendly experts. I worked with Laura Parks several times as I came in and looked over different diamonds to go into the setting. (My husband didn't mind the trips because there is a Five Guys in the same parking lot and we hit it up ever time.) It was a very comfortable experience. Everyone there was kind and made the process easy! I didn't feel pressured and I ended up with a ring that I love! Oh, be sure to take screen shots or pictures of the diamonds or items that you're looking at on the website, make sure all necessary details, item numbers and pricing so they kind find stuff quickly in their system for you. Really disappointed. I had a diamond tennis bracelet shortened at Shane Co about 3 weeks ago, haven't taken it off since. Then it fell off my wrist and was lost. I feel this is due to a faulty repair as the triple clasp was very strong and I'd never had any issues prior. I called Shane co and they said a manager would call me back. Where to begin? The service, selection and overall experience was good. With that said there are some pros and cons to look into. Walking in you are greeted right away. They take temperatures and ensure mask policy is followed. Due to the current situation they don't allow browsing without a sells representative. The staff for the most part is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The issue I had was with the male sells rep. He would bring out diamonds that were a bit more pricey then I could afford. I was very precise on cost and grade yet he gave the impression that there was nothing like what I wanted available. The 3 different occasions I worked with female staff I was very pleased. Got the engagement ring stone and wedding band. The costs. Although the male sells rep was not a good experience they have something at all price ranges. With a very large selection and trade up options i was able to find something epic for my lady. Note: during this coved period special orders are taking a very long time to come in. They quoted 6-8 weeks and my order came in on the last day of the 8th week. I will continue to shop here however I'd like to see some changes to special order time frame and the Two week wait for setting the stone wow. 10 weeks all together from ordering to finish. read more

I have heard that Shane Company gives great service with no non commission sales people. I found this to be true. I had the pleasure of working with Belle Tran. She listen to what I said show me a couple options that fell within my parameters and we quickly narrowed it down to a beautiful ring and a gorgeous princess cut diamond. I needed the ring rushed and she made sure that they could fulfill my tight timeline. On top of this, I had some old jewelry that I wanted to sell and they gave me a fair price. I highly recommend Shane and like there service as well as the trade up policy they have allowing you to bring back any ring you purchase there and get full purchase price value toward an upgraded ring. Alina was knowledgeable with my financial needs, and I was met with smiles from Sydney who previously helped me and remembered me. These two ladies truly embody the epitome of top-tier customer service, and this location is so lucky to have hired them both. They would be great in training new hires by their example. She also explained how maintenance was between metals. She was also busy running between clients, but that was understandable. She was such a pleasure to work with, was easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly excited to help us pick out the perfect ring. I was very well taken care of by Greg K, and was kept informed of progress by (Ashton and Sarah i think), and to my complete surprise & delight ShaneCo covered the replacement/repair under the warranty. Wow. Terrible service and really no reason for it. I wanted to buy a small diamond to put in a ring my wife loves. I went to Shane Co. web site first because I bought from them before (20 years ago lol) and had great service. Found a couple diamonds on-line, but soon realized they wouldn't be in stock at my local store so I called. Sure enough, they had a couple I could check out and "Carley" said they would hold one for me. I went in and finally got some help. Took almost a half hour for Carley to find my diamond as she was helping another customer at the same time. I checked it out but noticed it was smaller and more expensive than the ones I saw on-line. She said they could get a couple of the on-line ones I liked and they would be there Christmas Eve. Ok. Fine. I put the one they had on hold with a deposit and arranged to come back on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve no call, so I went in to see what was the deal. After about an hour of screwing around it became apparent the other diamonds had not showed up. Carley said I could buy the one on hold, and she would let me know when the others showed up. So at least I had something to give to my wife for Christmas. I said that would be fine as I would need them to custom mount the diamond in my wife's ring, so when we came in for that, she could look at the other, larger diamonds. I double checked to make sure she had my contact information and after Christmas, I still received no call. I finally called them after New Years and left a message to please let me know what the story was with my diamonds. Silence. The next week I returned the diamond I bought. I didn't wait for Carley because I had already wasted enough time. I couldn't believe how terrible the service was. Not once did anybody from Shane try to contact me about my order or mounting options. I went to Blue Nile's on-line store and got a MUCH better deal on a genuine GIA certified diamond. The Shane diamond was certified by Shane. So, if you don't value your time or your money, be sure to go to Shane Co. They will waste plenty of both. read more

Bought my titanium wedding band from them. The price was fair which is why I'm giving them two stars. The wedding band got super scratched up almost immediately. I went back to Shane Co. and they told me that there wasn't anything they could do about it, and it was normal for that type of ring to show scratches easily. I wish they would have told me about it when I bought my ring because I would have selected a different style had I known. My ring only looked like it was supposed to for maybe two weeks. Then a few years later the ring suddenly shattered in three pieces. I couldn't believe that a TITANIUM ring just shattered. I emailed them asking if they had any type of guarantee on their rings because it seemed very unusual for a titanium wedding ring to shatter like that. They just never responded. If they had replied and said it was past the warranty date or something I would have understood, but to just never respond is unacceptable. I love Shane Co. and my husband and I have been shopping at Lynnwood for over 25 years. Their warranty and customer service is second to none. If I purchase something from Shane Co. I know it's covered for life and that gives me great peace of mind. Shane Co. is always my first stop when I am looking for jewelry and I only go somewhere else if they don't have what I want. Here are a few things I love about Shane Co.: 1. Their selection is pretty good. If they don't have something in store they will pull it from another for you. 2. Their showroom has natural lighting, nothing to hide here. 3. The sales associates do not "pounce" on you. I like to be able to browse in peace. Only once in 25 years have we encountered an overly eager sales associate. 4. Online shopping is pretty easy with quick and secure shipping. 5. The quaility of the diamonds, for the most part, are good. 6. Return and trade in policy is generous. Over a 25 year span of buying jewelry my tastes have changed and so I have used and appreciated the trade in policy. Here is what I haven't been liking about Shane Co. (the last few times we've been there) and what actually compelled me to write this review: 1. There is now a gatekeeper at the door who asks you 20 questions before you can get in. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but they want to know why you are there, what EXACTLY you are shopping for, what you brought to service, how many pieces, etc. 2. Yesterday, we drove 25 miles to visit Shane Co. After disclosing the purpose of the visit and what exactly we were shopping for, we were told the wait time to get in was 20 minutes... I don't know if this is a sales tactic to make it seem more exclusive (some hand bag stores do this) or if there is a genuine reason they are doing this? But we've never had to wait to get in the door here, or at any jewelry store. Looking in the show room it appeared busy, but no more busier than we've seen it before. Anyway, we didn't feel like sitting in our car for 20 minutes (it was 86 degrees out) so we left. They probably should create some kind of waiting area with chairs if this is going to be their new business model. Last night was the final visit before our Wedding on March 17th 2012. We chose and purchased our wedding bands. Who would have thought that a Tuesday evening would be so busy. Several couples were buzzing about trying on various engagement and wedding bands. Love was in the air! :) It was slightly crowded around the display cabinet we were interested in . The consultant (not sure what to call her as they don't seem like "sales people") helped us both and moved one couple to the connecting counter. They too seemed pleased with this suggestion. Periodically the service was stagnant as she was helping a few couples. With that being said, she always kept us updated with what she was doing. Letting us know she'd be right back as she would help the other person while we tried on selections. Although very busy she remained friendly and not pushy. We were giddy trying them on and can't wait until March 17th!!
