While the selection was amazing, the pricing was high. If I had several hundred dollars to spend I would have bought a couple things because they were beautiful, however I could get more and just as nice pieces as elsewhere. I also wasn't impressed with the service. We weren't acknowledged once by even one of the three people behind the counter. I was in a jam and landed in this store. I went to two gems stores in N. Seattle and both of them were closed - I wasn't happy to drive to Edmonds but I did what needed to be done. I was leaving for a business trip and wanted to give a few gifts to a group of women I was meeting. It was a lovely day in September so everyone and their mother, auntie and dog were out. Parking sucks in this area but I managed to find a spot within waking distance. I knew what I wanted because I looked online and called a head to ensure they were open. I was searching for rose quartz hearts with little baggies to purchase since these were gifts. I found this store clean and laid out decently. I did see reviews of not receiving assistance - I was greeted and asked if I wanted help and I took it. Now, granted I'm a Black woman, the store was empty and in this instance I'm choosing not to jump to conclusions. It is Edmonds or Washington state for that matter. I was able to find what I wanted at a decent price and got out within 20-minutes. Would I recommend this place to a friend maybe...depends on how long they want to drive. read more

The store is gorgeous. The selection of crystals and jewelry are perfect and well priced. However, the staff was incredibly rude. My boyfriend and I were the only people in the store and we were not greeted, not helped, not so much as acknowledged by the 3 women at the store. I was extremely disappointed because we intended to buy some jewelry and weren't even so much as looked at. Lovely little shop with an amazing variety of crystals, other beautiful jewelry and metaphysical trinkets! I bought a few gifts for myself and friends while I was in town, there were some very beautiful dressed candles, nice smelling incense, collections of fossils and stunning raw crystals (a few locally sourced options) along with many other intriguing souvenirs. Honestly, I've been to many rock-shops, and none have had nearly as big of a diversity of crystals, at least not ones that looked genuine. I gave The Wishing Stone only 3 out of 5, because even when the store is dead with absolutely not a single soul in the store or when the store is jammed packed, never had I've been greeted. It's only when I noticed, when I asked for assistance Is when I am greeted. Also what I find very annoying is, when there is four+ workers working the store, and there is five give or take actually on the floor - whenever I asked to look at something, instead of just helping one at a time as I am usually waiting ten to twenty minutes, these woman end up helping another person when I am finally helped. Therefore, I am waiting yet again to be helped, instead of just allowing the person they're helping to wait - just like I had to. But overall these woman know they're stuff. Such a great little shop for the crystal collector!!!! I stumbled upon it while holiday shopping and spent way more than I planned. In addition to crystals they have other collectables too. I particularly loved their crystal selection, I just wish they had the majority of it out for customers to touch. The selection they did have mostly consisted of crystals meant for necklaces and some uncut stones. I walked away with the best Smudge kit for $15, a large Rose Quartz for $6, some beautiful smelling cone incense ($9) and a small holder for the incense ($2.50). I will be back for sure!!! read more

Other gem stone stores feel basic, a bit like going into a shop that just got the rocks yesterday. However, at this store, all the rocks look clean and polished. Shined and tumbled. I love looking at all their bits of jewelry and rock collection pieces. Very one of kind items, and I think their exquisite. This store is located in downtown Edmonds. A quick ferry ride over from Kingston. Within walking distance of the fountain. I get so happy in here because the store carries many different stones of a variety of shapes and colors. They have the most gorgeous, unique, & interesting pieces that are unlike anything else out there, all at price points that cater to everyone. They even have dinosaur eggs!
