Diverse and cool selection of merch. I went in a few times and didn't have a particularly pleasant experience any of the times, and I did want to end up liking the store as it's conveniently located for me and has quite a few useful supplies. There were different workers every time, the older women and younger men that work there were always kind but for the most part I was ignored and hovered over which made browsing uncomfortable. Excellent resource and very helpful staff. I needed assistance in selecting the correct items for my "situations" and found the perfect things. The items were reasonably priced and they packed them up in a gorgeous purple gift bag so I could just give the gift and not have to wrap it. I'm excited to return when I have more time to browse, there's so much to see. As it was, I was short on time and the staff helped me get in and out in a very efficient way. One of my top 3 herbal/metaphysical stores in washington. Of course it wouldnt be a metaphysical store without a boat loud of crystals and herbs. While 4sisters in renton has a focus on bones/ritual vessels and teas. This store focuses on books and candles/oils. I came out with a wish list of 5 books despite walking out with two. There are also lots of classes so it's nice to be part of a community if you're not already. There was two ladies who were available to help and were very helpful when I couldn't find what I needed at the end. I usually feel bad about asking for help, but because they kept checking on me I didn't end up feeling like a bother. I think it's well worth a trip even if this place is out of the way. I will be coming back and I will be recommending this place to others. read more

I don't really know how to rate my experience. On one hand, this store is amazing. It smells great, nice selection of books, stones, candles and incense etc. I had come in to get some sage to cleanse my new home, and was hoping to find a rose quartz ring. I was able to find both! The ring is gorgeous and I was so excited to start wearing it. This is where my review takes a turn... after two weeks of wearing the ring, I noticed that two of the rungs that hold the rose quartz in place have come completely removed from the stone. When I purchased the ring, it was definitely NOT adjustable. I just went back to the store to show them what happened. I do not want to return the ring, I just would like it repaired. They don't do repairs at Vision Quest, but they gave me a recommendation as to where I could get it fixed. That's it. I paid almost $50 for this piece. It's not a cheap costume jewelry piece. I am very careful with my hands. The ring has not caught or banged on anything since I got it. I can't think of any reason for it to be this broken already. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service. Who knows how much this is going to cost to get fixed, but if it's anywhere close to $50, this ring just doubled in price for me. So, I guess my review is to express my displeasure with the quality of the jewelry sold at Vision Quest. In my experience, it does not match the price point, and the lack of customer service is really a let down. read more

Review based up merchandise return...or lack there of return. I purchased a book approx. 1-month ago which I didn't wind up liking after purchase. I don't live close by and I wasn't aware of the return policy (after 2-weeks no returns accepted). This is a lousy policy! They also don't offer store credits for returns after the two-week deadline. Total bullshit - I don't expect I'll be returning which is too bad as I like to support small business. Take this one off the list. I'll keep my business at the E/W Bookstore in Seattle. read more

I went into the shop looking for something in particular and they did have it. After I tried a few other stores in the greater Seattle area. When I walked in the store it had an odd mixed energy-some good same not so good-I couldn't put my finger on what it was. The employees in the shop were nice (and I never felt I was followed by employees as some others felt-perhaps they let those people go). But it seemed like some of the individuals didn't know a lot about the merchandise...one employee kept on walking over to the area where I was looking like 5 different times at pricing or what items were yelling out to other employees in a matter of less than 10 minutes...(when you come to a place like this it should be a calming and positive experience...this visit not as much as I would have liked). Something I did not care for is the individual/woman who may do the services (healer/guide?) came out of the little room and talked about a client that she either just saw or saw earlier in the day to another employee they spoke about his issues like in a gossipy manner? These 2 employees did it in the middle of the store and loudly enough where others/strangers could hear. When people come to a guide or healer it is generally about personal matters that are private and they should be kept that way not gossiped with other employees in an open space in mixed company. Some of the things I overheard about this individual I would not want discussed with random people after I left a session. The store could be organized a little bit better (It was organized in the sense that it wasn't a disaster zone (everything was neat and tidy) but where the items were placed together and located felt a little haphazard). Like some essential oils over there...and some other ones in a totally different place and more in a completely different place. They did have a good but small assortment of herbs. The crystals that they have are quite small and of average quality and in some cases overpriced. The have an assortment of jewelry, body care items, candles and books. If you are looking for something in particular you may want to call first especially if you do not live nearby. read more

Love that we have something like this in the area. It seems that stores like this are incredibly rare. I would much rather shop in person at a locally owned business. I came here a few months back looking for a tarot deck with a friend and my trip was successful. We had a great time walking the layout of the store and looking at what the store had to offer. Most of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the products. They had a resident dog who was amazingly behaved and a good judge of character to boot! My only wish is that they carried some modern artists in the tarot/oracle sector as some of the items seemed a little outdated (like Doreen Virtue... ). I'd love to see Courtney Alexander of dust2onyx, devany wolfe of she wolfe tarot, amrit brar... etc. but I have only been in the store once so maybe the stock wasn't as inclusive as it has historically been because items have been flying off the shelves. Hello Beautiful Humans, I stumbled into Vision Quest on a day where I was seeking and lost. I was a shell from a journey I had taken, emptied of all I thought I was. So raw, I needed a safe space. I entered and immediately sat of the floor. I was there for perhaps 45 minutes, sitting on a cushion, when I was approached by one of the amazing women. Her name is Bevi and I love her, truly. She guided me to some tools and offered me real guidance. I took these tools back into my life where I then experience grounding and increased stability. A small, cozy metaphysical shop in the middle of Everett! I didn't have high expectations going in (possibly because of the location?) but I was blown away with the variety of crystals they had. The staff was very attentive and kind and overall had a comfortable atmosphere. They even have a few sofas to lounge on in case you want to browse through their book collection. I had to create an account for myself during their check out process (it's free) because I saw myself visiting this shop a lot in the future. This is my go to place when I need to feel good! They always have the cards I need, or, if I'm looking for a special crystal, and their readings are fabulous. When my nieces visit, they always want to go to Vision Quest for a reading to connect with their loved ones who have passed --- they always come out feeling wonderful ! Giving this store two stars because they do have an awesome selection of merchandise. Books, crystals, jewelry, tarot cards, ritual supplies etc.... I have now been to this store three times. Each time hoping for a good experience, or at least better than the last. My experience today was just ridiculous and I won't be returning to the store. I feel profiled as soon as I walk in the doors of this place, and I am. Every single time I come there is at least one employee that follows me around the store, very obviously. They make no attempt to hide that they are watching me, and may as well accuse me of being a thief. It is incredibly uncomfortable. Incredibly. Especially because this is a spiritual store and I am a spiritual person and have no intention of stealing. The person who followed me around the store today, did not even speak to me or offer me any help. Never asked what I was looking for, or if I needed help finding anything. Because they were too busy watching and waiting for me to steal. Eventually I cut my shopping trip short because I was incredibly uncomfortable. It felt as if they wanted me to leave. So I paid for what was in my hand and left. I also found it odd that they were doing some sort of energy healing or spiritual work with someone in the middle of the store who was in tears and loudly getting advice on their personal life. I felt that should be more private but my bigger issue here is being treated like a thief the minute I walk through the door when I am in fact a paying customer. Or was I should say! As I was at work, I called Vision Quest to see if they had it - they didn't. HOWEVER they did refer me to another business. I called that location and they didn't have the essential oil either and as they'd recently moved to a new location, they weren't comfortable referring anyone. So ... I called Vision Quest back - and they were awesome in helping me find another location. Well seems as though I'm not the only one who has been followed around the store and questioned. I really wish I could give them a higher rating as they are the only metaphysical book store (that I'm aware of) in Everett. I moved here a month ago and I was so happy when I found them and have shopped there a few times now. All the employees are super friendly except for that one with the long gray hair. I'm not sure what her role is at the store, but someone needs to have a serious talk with her. It makes for a pretty awkward and uncomfortable shopping experience when I can't shop for books and crystals without being followed and accused of stealing (like anyone really needs to steal a $3 sage stick ). One older woman with long brown hair was so busy talking to only one customer for an hour and the other employee was stuck behind the counter with a line of people waiting to check out. I have never been a believer or user of a psychic or tarot card reader before visiting Vision Quest.... I can only tell of my particular experience which still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Background: When I first moved to Seattle from Eastern, WA, I still had romantic flame back across the mountains. I didn't talk about it, and never gave it a label. But I was absolutely crazy about him. I drove back across the mountains, meeting practically every weekend or short day off. It was very passionate but being a bachelor for so many years he was somewhat non dependable you could say on some things... Work: A coworker with a high paying job position and title came up to me at work and said I get the feeling you have many unanswered questions in your life. My grandfather was a voodoo priest, medicine man (something of that nature) in the Caribbean where we are from. I have somewhat of a gift and I get the feeling I need to give you Bonnie's name... so she gives me a card that says Bonnie with a phone number on it. She told me to make an appt for the following day after work. Vision Quest: So I arrived at Vision Quest with an appt to get my cards read by Bonnie. I was highly skeptical. I got brought back to a room with Bonnie (who looked completely normal) and she began her ordeal. Her eyes roll back in her head the cards float over and over in her hands reading them. She artfully arranges them across the table and her eyebrows raise alot... or at least with my life they did. The Reading: I am a believer. I am also a bit fearful because I have not gone back since. I was dressed to the nines and gave this woman no information about myself. Nor did my coworker know anything about any situations in my life. Bonnie started with my love life. She immediately pointed out my romance, easy right. But then she told me she knew he was across a mountain pass, and that he was a man of the earth, and the cards seemed to be telling her he was a farmer. The guy I was seeing was one of the state's largest onion farmers. I about fell out of my chair. She went on to tell me he was one of my soul mates but we have many in our life and so forth. She went on to point out the men in my life before him and the ones in the Seattle area that had sparked interest. My passionate Eastern WA knight was going to have to become a King in order to maintain the relationship. It was unsure to her if he was going to do this soon enough to keep me. Apparently I attract and am attracted to many knights but my personality needs the dependability and maturity of a King more than the passion and immaturity of a Knight. Amen to that! She also pointed out a King in the center of my cards sitting on a throne of diamonds and jewels, she could see him but not his face and described characteristics of him vividly. She told me I would meet him in the next month, in a situation I was not expecting. If I had my head in the gutter off playing with knights it would never formulate and a relationship and second meeting would never spark. She was unsure where the relationship would lead as there were many player battling in the future but I would be with him for a very long time. I thought nothing of it until 2 months later when I was dating a diamond importer and exporter who also owned a distillery. She went on to say things about an illness I had, my family history down to fine details. She pointed out many things that were going to happen, things I needed knowledge of, and warnings. I have never been so bug eyed in my life. I had chills, goosebumps and peered up the heavens a few times and thought am I doing something wrong right now...
