They have an amazing selection of rings here! I've been doing my jewelry shopping at Jared, but this place has a wider choice of rings. More importantly though is that they warranty their rings for dropped diamonds or whatever so long as you have them here checked every six months. The other place sells you a service plan covering that but then argues when a diamond baguette goes MIA. They also warranty their engravings for live, so should it start to wear down they will just re-engrave it. Their prices are super reasonable compared to Coffin and Trout, and we will definitely return here in the future. read more

Just knew this was the place I wanted to find my new updated wedding ring. One of the reasons why was because of Shane Company's certified diamonds, high-quality cuts, and incredibly reasonable prices which makes Shane Co. one of the most-desirable places for customers to purchase unique and beautiful jewelry. We had two jewelry consultants working with us throughout our time here. Started with one and ended with another due to shift changes. Both were patient, knowledgeable & helpful through the entire process. Erin C. thank you for making our experience that much better. In store from start to finish, we spent about 4 hours in total. It was quite an undertaking to find the perfect one! It was interesting because; I had many different ideas in my head and in prior sketches of what I wanted as far as shapes & styles, but in person and trying on many different configurations, I ended up choosing something completely unexpected that my husband & I just knew was "it"! At the end of sale, they suggest a Shane Company Card to make payments. So, depending on price and how much you put down, this can determine if you can pay off your loan within 12 months. With this option there's no interest rate. Then, it's a standard 9.99% ARP for 24, 36, 48 & 60 months. There are no annual fees. Additionally, they offer layaway plans and special perks by being an exclusive card holder. *Be advised: There are some credit card complications. Our rep. had to call the card company to ask if we could choose our payment date. No, you cannot pick the "day" (date) you'd like to make your payment. It's centered around the date of purchase as to when you will make your payments. This is what the associate told us, yet they claim on their website and cc agreement it's the 21st of every month, but that was not the case or at-least in our situation. We made our first payment EARLY on the 14th with no issues, but it was actually scheduled for the 23rd on our end. The second month it somehow ended up being the 15th because this is approximately 30 days from our last payment. We were unaware & were never informed of such a thing! So, when my husband went to pay online on the 23rd they had charged us a late fee?! We just assumed every month it was due on or by the 23rd?! So, if you plan to pay earlier at "anytime" be advised your next payment date will change and then be due in 30 days. After calling and going over the payment plan, they did end up crediting us the following month for the overdue fine. We were able to "keep" the 15th as our deadline which was the timeframe we originally wanted it to be. So, it ALL kinda worked out for us anyway, but it was also really confusing. Shane does have quite a few complaints with the BBB, so just be aware, cautious & completely informed before you start this journey to your jewelry purchase as remember it is a big commitment and investment! Note-They currently carry a new generation of lab grown diamonds which are beautiful. They have some brilliant colors. To the naked eye they don't look much different from the real thing. However, they do not gain any value and warranty coverage isn't a guaranteed. Shane Company provides in terms of benefits: Free cleanings for life. An upgrade program (see reviews). Covered replacements in case you lose a diamond. Free lifetime warranty. Free inspections. Now, the reason I can't give this a full 5 stars comes down to the way Shane Co. structures their in-store experience. On two separate visits, I was greeted and initially helped by someone--only to be handed off to another person shortly after. Unfortunately, both of these "second reps" had a pushy, sales-driven approach that made me uncomfortable. They used high-pressure tactics that felt more like a used car dealership than a jewelry store--lines like "What's stopping you from getting a ring today?" and "You know we have financing..." and "You can always return it..." stood out for all the wrong reasons. It's worth noting that Shane claims their staff don't work on commission, but the vibe I got from these interactions made that hard to believe. It felt transactional and overly focused on closing the sale then and there. Luckily, I found Russ--and he was the complete opposite. Patient, understanding, and never once pressuring me. So I have been going to the Scottsdale location for years. I love it but the new Chandler location is top notch. I got Janna a necklace with a nice pendant for her Bday and the clasp was coming apart. I took it in, Shane Co repaired, it and there was no questions. When I purchased it, it came with a warranty, and I had no idea. I talked to the customer service lady, asking her if I should get a better necklace, she told me that she has the necklace by its self, and that the loves it. Long story. The story continues. When I finally got there 2 days later I came only to find out the engagement ring and wedding band I bought were already attached together! I was so sad that I just took it left immediately called my future wife and asked her if she would be okay having it already attached. Being the amazing woman she is she said it would be fine but I could hear the pain in her voice. So I went back in and asked if they could fix this without damaging the ring at all. The representative there was adamant that they could do it right away in 15 min looking absolutely perfect. Luckily she was 100% right. It only took 5! I was so happy when she finally brought the ring and the band back looking perfectly amazing. A part of me was just thankful to be done with the experience but also very happy with the amazing quality of the ring. She was super apologetic about everything and it made me feel tons better. About a week later the store manger called and personally apologized to me for the experience. And finally that made my day. At the last moment he was able to find another stone preset in another setting with the perfect color blue in store! Austyn then had the stone plucked out of it's setting in the back in less than 10 minutes so I could see it laid in my setting. We got to see it in a light box with different lighting settings while also inspecting under a microscope. Perfection! I love my ring. I couldn't be happier with his services. Shane Co in Chandler is super convenient, easy to get in and out of and not pretentious like the Scottsdale location. I was in the store to pick up my jewelry that had been inspected and cleaned. While there Austyn Gryp assisted me in looking at upgrading my diamond solitaire earrings. We don't buy a lot of jewelry but when we do, ( some birthdays, anniversary, Mother's Day) we go to Shane Co. We went in again to buy my daughter her first pair of "real"earrings. Paul Salazar was worked with us and was wonderful. We've never had a problem in the last 14 years. That is until this last week. The earrings did have an issue. I was so worried about it. My daughter was really upset. I went back in talk to Paul. He spent time with my daughter and I; He found the right solution for our situation, and the right earrings for my daughter. Went in to have a watch battery replaced. Greeted by a employee sitting at a podium who I checked in with. Was told to wait and someone would be with me shortly. I took a seat and a few minutes later a salesman came out and said he would check and see if in fact the battery could be changed. A few minutes later the salesman returns- yes , we can replace the battery and it would take about 15 minutes. I return, check in with the young lady at the front podium, as I again take a seat outside the actual store. I wait a few minutes and salesman says all set with your watch. Then there was a 5 minute process to enter my information in the system for any future business with the company. I then walk into the back of the store to pay- another 2-3 minutes. Ask the young lady in customer service if there was any guarantee on the new battery- she wasn't sure, but stated she thought it was one week, which I found interesting as with other watch batteries I have had replace offered a much longer guarantee on battery replacement. All the employees were friendly, but the process to get my battery replaced was almost as laborious as going to the DMV before self serve kiosk were invented. read more
