Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

From the decor to the serving cups you are getting no frills but great quality. Its a traditional ice cream parlor. And im not mad at it. They have counter seating for small groups to tables in the back. We had a group of 6 and was seated quickly. I had the ice cream float with root beer syrup. The vanilla ice cream sat delicately on top of the soda. The soda wasn't overly sweet and fizzy. I had time to enjoy the ice cream and the soda separately. My daughter had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. There was not a sprinkle in sight when she was done. This isn't our first time. Nor will this be our last. All the ice cream flavor are of great quality. The fudge to the sundae is classic. Ideal for after dinner or date night after a movie. Dont forget to bring cash.

There's a calm vibe that makes it easy to linger a bit longer than planned. What I ordered: * Ube Donut - Soft, pillowy, and not overly sweet. The ube flavor was mellow but distinct, with a creamy filling that was just the right amount. It's not your average donut--definitely a step up if you're into unique flavors. * Tiramisu Latte - Surprisingly good. It's rich, with that classic coffee + cocoa combo you'd expect from a tiramisu, but in latte form. Slightly sweet, creamy, and definitely indulgent without being too heavy. . Service was friendly, though a bit slow during the afternoon rush. Still, the quality made up for it. Overall: A charming bakery café with inventive items and solid coffee. Worth a visit if you're nearby--or even a detour if you're a dessert lover. Would I go back? Absolutely.

Staff seemed friendly, but it is mostly self service for you to pick and choose what items you want from the displays, checkout was fast. The pastries I got were good. I really liked the Ube Donut and Iced latte. The donut was FILLED with ube cream, not too sweet, but just the perfect sweetness. The ham and cheese croissant was a little too salty for me and I wish there was more ham but still good. I like the sausage roll pastry has a good amount of flavor. And the chocolate croissant- can't complain.

Perhaps the only good part of this location is that the service was solid and attentive. I wish the feeling was mutual with what I ordered though, but I'll get to that in a bit. Service is pretty good. Area is a bit on the small side, reducing it to an only takeout location. Maybe I caught the place in a bad time but I was not a fan of what I ordered. What caught my eye was the Oreo Cinnabon and the cookies and creme chillata. I thought I paid a little too much for my liking, $8 for the Oreo Bon and $5 for the chillata (which was fair) plus tax and it all came up to $15. I would've forgiven it if the food was good but I can't give it that grace this time. My Oreo Bon felt tough when it shouldn't be this resistant digging into it with the fork and the taste was barely there. I have to question the freshness of the Oreo Bon because there should be a lot more flavor into the cinnabon. I've never encountered this problem with the Queens Center and Broadway Mall in Hicksville locations. I couldn't finish it in lack of trying to do so and the chillata was just average. The chocolate was there but I wasn't wowed by it. It left more questions than answers. I can't in good faith endorse this location. This review was initially a 3 star due to me giving this place the benefit of the doubt for it's above average service but this food gave me the gnarliest stomach bug because of the stale cinnabon and less than impressive shake I had, it was not a pleasant experience. If you want to go to a Cinnabon location where the food is fresh and the drinks have taste to it, go to their Queens Center and Broadway Mall locations.

It's frustrating to spend money on a meal and not even be able to enjoy it because it's overcooked. I was really looking forward to eating it, and now it just feels like my money was wasted. This shouldn't be happening when customers are paying for their food. Please do better with quality control so situations like this don't happen again. I'd really appreciate if this could be addressed, because this experience was honestly upsetting and disappointing.
