We held a Smule SING! SoCal Meetup here and let me tell you...it was AWESOME! I was initially apprehensive about this place being that it was an Irish pub/bar/restaurant lol...but the KJ played all genres of music which I totally appreciate. I didn't get to try any food because we went to eat sushi before coming here but I'm sure it was great since some of our group reordered more to go. It is loud here...but remember we were there on a Karaoke night. I thought EVERYONE that went up to sing was amazing! Idk about all the negative Nancy's that have reviewed Shamrocks on their Karaoke night but this place was awesome! The service was prompt and friendly. When I took the trek to Corona to watch the World Series with my favorite gal pal, we had every intention of going to Sportys. But it was Friday night, the 15 was a mess and it was already the third inning - so we pulled off at Magnolia and found our way into Shamrocks. Shamrocks has a nice, warm pub feel and is not at all pretentious. TV's are at every angle and there is a bit of space between the bar and the restaurant for those who are interested in getting their nom on outside of the bar atmosphere. Their happy hour is great: $3 wells, $3 drafts and half off Appetizers - Monday thru Friday, 4 (?) till 8. The gal pal and I ordered potato skins and wings. The potato skins were loaded with bacon and cooked perfectly. The wings were extra crispy and the meat was tender. Extra points for not dousing it in sauce, Shamrocks. The waitress kept the beers coming at the appropriate pace and was quick to clear the table. We seriously contemplated leaving her a $18 tip (too much beer at this point). The crowd was mixed bag. There are families, old people, bros and your normal pub crowd. The atmosphere was very publike - one hour some lady who was my moms age tried to bar fight us and the next hour I was doing Irish car bombs with the next table (Hi Jimbo and Tito!) while the gal pal sang karaoke. If I had to choose, I would pick Shamrocks over other Riverside area bars (Mill Creek, Killarney's) for a drunken, silly night. Plus, I can't stop thinking about those wings... read more

My wife and I stopped here randomly on a Saturday night since we were in the area. This was my first time at this shamrocks. We used to go to the shamrocks in chino hills quite a bit in our younger days (which is closed now because of nefarious activities committed by bartenders). This shamrocks has a very similar decor but two big positive differences. One it was very open compared to the other shamrocks. It isn't too large but the way the room is laid out makes it feel like it is. Second the crowd. The chino hills shamrocks is a true rowdy dive bar. Common to see fights and drunk obnoxious people. At this shamrocks people seemed very laid back and friendly. You had people playing board games in the corner drinking waters, people young and old doing karaoke and being respectful of each other's time in the spotlight, and even a group of people sharing a birthday cake. All and all we really enjoyed our time here and if we lived closer would visit much more often. A hidden gem! read more

Finally started my Hall o' foam passport and for about 2 months I've been in so many times now, basically tried every item on the menu. Their chicken and turkey sandwiches are delicious, pulled pork is just amazing, I dont even care for bbq sauce and I loved it. Now I do have to say their appetizers are not my favorite with the exception of their buffalo wings. Love their bratwurst and their shepards pie is interesting very much a comfort food item. Megan the bartender is awesome love her! everyone we've encountered is nice and welcoming. For my husband and I its our " Cheers" bar haha everyone knows each other and its just a nice chill spot to hang. Out and about running errands and realized it's dinner time. My hubby suggested coming here, and am i glad he did. The room is a large open space with comfy large booths that makes you feel as though your at home. Their beer's are cold and they play oldies but goodies Rock-and-roll which is nice when you're having a beer and cheeseburger. Let's get on that subject. ...I chose build your own..... It was a large juicy patty with cheddar cheese, mushrooms and avocado. Only bummer was that i ate it so fast that i forgot to take a photo... next time! Hubby chose this amazing salmon and mashed potatoes dish. Can i say Holy Moly!! They stack the mashed potatoes on the salmon and pour this amazing creamy sauce all over it. OMG! Delicious! Everything was cooked on a mesquite grille. A huge bonus. I'll definitely be ordering the salmon dish for myself next time. We'll be back soon! Definitely recommend this place! I'd like to start off by saying the poor 1 person bartender, waitress, Hostess, manager, sous chef, etc etc was Far overworked and the place was far understaffed. I had to go up to the bar to order and also retrieve my food, go up to the bar to get my Waters, go up to the bar to ask for my check, the water was not refilled. The poor server. She was amazing and very apologetic. But the owner needs to get this message and staff as best he can. I'm sure it's due to covid excetera but man it was brutal. Once we received the food we did get the wrong order. But once we got the right order it was delicious. So basically this message is to get the owner to really work hard to get more staff oh, because the place is great. I love the ambiance, we played darts oh, we looked at a bunch of the art on the wall in the hand drawings. Excellent pub style drinking experience . They have a beer list that upon finishing gets you a free mug and happy hour prices for life ! I don't know but that sounds like a great deal . They have excellent pub style food . They do excellent steaks on mesquite barbecue. The calamari USED to be better unfortunately . Overall bartender girls a re super friendly and super sexy. Came here on a Wednesday night after work with a few coworkers. We were seated right away outside. the patio is a pretty good size it's right next to the freeway so there is a little traffic noise but other than that it's perfect. we ordered the potato skins, nachos, chili cheese fries, wings and the mozzarella sticks - talk about hungry. Anyways I would say that the wings probably were the best as well as the mozzarella sticks! the wings were so good we actually ordered another order after we ate the first 16 piece. I didn't care too much for the nachos the cheese looked a little suspect. it looks like they use shredded cheese and just melted it on top. They didn't really have a happy hour menu but the waitress told us that most of the appetizers were dollar off and then they had a few specials on well drinks and beer. we stuck to the well drinks the drinks made were very good the service was very good they were prompt and very friendly with us despite how loud and obnoxious we were after all the drinks. I went in and there was one bartender/waitress running the show. It was an NFL playoff Sunday and there were no NFL games on any of their TV's. Two large wall mounted TV's were off and soccer and basketball were showing on all other TV's. The waitress said that they did not have NFL ticket so the game was not on. Bad, bad, bad....I had to tell her the NFL playoffs are never on NFL ticket and that it was on Fox. She said she had no idea about the programming. She seemed like she was not a sports fan but the weird thing is that she is working at a place that seems to want to be a pub/sports bar joint. She turned on one TV to the game as two other TVs remained off. I couldn't figure out why the other TV's remained off when others wanted to watch the NFL playoffs. Three other TV's were showing college basketball. My buddy literally had to turn around and watch the game. The service was slow and the food took a while but the food was not bad. The poor girl needed some help and she also needs to learn sports programming if this place wants to be a sports bar type of place. read more

After a long flight from the chilly east coast, outdoor seating in March is a blessing. Sadly the cool looking Mexican place Luna had closed their patio because it rained three hours ago and they can't dry outdoor chairs. Or something, at least that's according to the croaky voiced millennial girl child that wanted to chat with her friends about hair extensions, or whatever it is teenage girls chat about when not snapfacing each other. So. Found a weird little Irish bar, that looks like it's seen it's fair share of bikergang fights, that has outdoor seating with stunning views of the Lowe's building supply parking lot. But it's outdoor seating and I need to purge my lungs of second hand airplane farts. This pub looks great on the inside. I love the layout and the authentic feel of an Irish pub. We went for lunch and the service was super slow. It really seemed to take a very long time for our order. My husband ordered the corned beef and cabbage. I went for the Reuben sandwich and a cup of clam chowder while our granddaughter wanted the Mac and cheese. We all enjoyed our food. It had a lot of flavor and the servings were plenty. Normally one of our favorite places! We go once a week for a few drinks and dinner. Since it's been a little colder they put up a tent out front with some heaters inside. Unfortunately the owner for whatever reason decided he doesn't want the heaters on to keep patrons warm. The servers are great and apologizing for not being able to turn them on. Hopefully this political virus will be gone soon so people can get back to living. We'll still go back to Shamrock's however for now we'll find a place willing to turn the heaters on since we have to stay outside. read more

This place doesn't really know what it wants to be. It's most like a dive bar -- although it's clean, it's also dark and loud and has a faint hint of being a biker bar or a sports bar. It claims to offer mesquite, which is doesn't and which is weird for an Irish pub. It's not really an Irish pub. The food was terrible and the service unacceptably slow, although the waitstaff was nice. It's not a good place for dinner. It would be better at 1 am after you've had a lot to drink. read more

I had the worst discrimination experience at this place tonight. Our party included 3 people of color and we sat 15 minutes with no menus and zero acknowledgement from the staff. Two other groups came in after us and were served within 2 minutes. The staff refused to let us speak with a manager and one female staffer in a black and white checked zip up hoodie type jacket was unbelievably rude and dismissive. I have never had an experience like that and I cannot believe a restaurant behaves this way in this day and time. This restaurant should be ashamed to treat people this way. read more

This place is awful. This was my second visit and it was worse than the first time I went. I figured I'd give it another shot after the flop of my first visit. The worst thing about this place is the RUDE bartenders. Im a server/bartender myself and never in my 10 years of working in the service industry have I ever been so insulted by a service employee. I'm flabbergasted at the behavior coming from specifically the blonde bartender named Krysta, or Krystal. It was hard to get her name. I came here on Friday night for happy hour with some co- workers and I was surprised it wasn't crowded. What I didn't know was that it was karaoke night and all the regulars started showing up after 9pm !!! It was a nice atmosphere and watching all the regulars sing karaoke was fun! My group just ordered appetizers and they were just meh. My nachos could've used some more cheese. I think the chicken wings were good since the plate was empty. Our waitress was very outgoing and fun !! A downside for me is that they kept the patio door open the whole time so u can smell the cigarette smoke inside the pub. I scheduled a Paint and sip party here 6 weeks in advance and was asked two days before to change my party time because they were going to have a celebration of life there. I understood death isn't convenient (I'm a widow) so we made changes to accommodate them. A group of 13 women' met there for lunch and stayed for our paint party. We were supposed to be able to stay till 3...at 2:00 people started showing up for the COL, soon after we started getting dirty looks, note we were in the middle of our paint party. So we hurried up and paid our bills and left. While waiting to close out our tabs-all 13 of them, yes we spent some $$$ i over heard who I think was either the manager or owner say and I quote "These people are over staying their welcome!" How rude! We just spent hundreds of dollars there and accommodated their request to change the time of our party. We are so sorry about their loss but next time if you "can't" accommodate "your " customers then close for your private party. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. This could have been handled so much better than it was...poor management and RUDENESS! read more

I came here to have a few drinks for my bday. My roommate was really high and was leaning himself on the bar. This blonde bartender very rudely said he had to sit up and cant be slouching down. I asked him to sit up, which he obliged. But she was so cross about it. My roommate wasn't even drinking, but i just spent 20 dollars on drinks for myself. Then, they call last call, and i wanted to get a couple more irish car bombs for myself. This other bartender, shorter and brunette, came over and said last call already passed...i explained i have been trying to call you over, and she had just served shots to a group beside me. Then she says she won't serve my buddy. I explained he was not drinking, he is my roommate..and is with me, but he is not drinking, the drinks are for me. She then questioned what kind of friend i am and said i should he taking care of my friend. I said, with anger, why does it effing matter to you bout me and my friend? He is high, super chill. Dont you worry about us. She says well he looks done, i cant serve you. I said they are not for him, they are for me. I'll down them right here in front of you. She tells me i missed out becaue last call passed. I again said i was trying to politely get your attention, then i said "you just poured four shots to that group to my left, thirty seconds ago. This is bullshit. Gtfo with that crap" then she tells me to leave and a tall tattooed gentleman with a baseball cap came over and said time to leave. I got angrily stood up and said "you gonna make me?" I then stopped and explained the entire situation and the bouncer guy said the blonde bartender was his wife and that he apologizes for the experience and wished me a happy bday. Then he offered to buy me a drink if i came in tomorrow. I shook his hand and thanked him for being cool. I apologized for my attitude, because i am a bouncer. St. Patrick's Day, 2019: you would think for an Irish-themed bar/restaurant would have their Irish food game pretty squared away for this particular holiday. Service was slow (even early when it wasn't busy), and the Irish food wasn't worth what it cost. Example: Shepherds Pie was $14. You would think that would be a meal or main course, as it was presented on the menu. No. What I was given was a tiny dish (picture small soup) of what may pass for shepherds pie at a non-themed restaurant. Shepherds pie has gravy/sauce. Not this, it was a small amount of ground beef, lightly spiced, covered with mashed potatoes and some cheese. There may have been a couple peas and carrots mixed into the potatoes as well. Anyhow, what was given to me was basically what happens to your dinner plate at any other meal when you can't keep you veggies separated. Heavy on the potatoes, light on the ingredients that make shepherds pie interesting. I think the waitress must have heard me grumble about the portions, and subsequently ignored my table. I had to chase down another waitress to submit my drink order. There's plenty of other options nearby that do a way better job on the Irish food and service. I don't post many reviews. Location - Good visibility from the street but you have to make a U-turn to get there if you're coming from the north. Ambiance - Exactly what you should expect from an Irish bar. Didn't know what to expect with some of the bad reviews on this place, but we truly had a great experience. It was karaoke night and the vibes were really fun. We sat in the outside tent area. I have been here twice in the last two weeks and the service is terrible. It's starts off well enough, but after the first drink they can't keep up. My dad ordered a beet, waited 30 minutes and never saw a drop! We finally left money, what we thought was enough to cover the food and beverage we were actually served, since we weren't willing to wait for a check, on the table to cover. Seriously? My girlfriend and I came here on Sunday, we often come here, we LOVE this place, but this Sunday was an embarrassment. We went to watch the afternoon games (NFL) and always show our team support. There were about 7 people in the bar area and 4 sitting in the dining area. We took a seat in the bar area, got our foam list's from the waitress, put in our order for beers and were deciding what food to order when the waitress informs us that we are not allowed to wear Raiders gear inside Shamrocks, by rule of the owner. I chuckled and asked if she was being facetious and she said NO, its the owners rule.. she said I can turn my jersey inside out or take it off if I wanted to stay.. I pointed out my hat, my watch, my girlfriends shirt and said, "so we have to take off all our clothes to stay here and eat and drink?" Mindless to say, we got up and left.. took our $ to another establishment that doesn't discriminate. NEVER at ANY restaurant, anywhere, EVER have I felt so discriminated against and embarrassed. This is a must for anyone who wants a lively yet low key evening out. Drinks are reasonably priced. (Hubs had 7 Jack n Cokes and I had 5 draft beers, $100 including a $25 tip.) It was karaoke night and my experience with that hadn't been good until this place.... The, who I assume are, regulars are flipping entertaining and actually quite good! There was a mixed crowd, and even a kid (?!). Mostly 30+, which was a huge plus for me! (Those 20 something girls get annoying; makes me want to slap my 20yr old self.) I digress. Great atmosphere, the bathroom was clean, the waitresses were not only friendly, but attentive and had personalities that were just awesome. Other patrons will actually engage with you too. I cut my lip on a broken beer bottle. the beer bottle was definifitly broken on the top. i cut my lip on it and was bleeding profusely. dId the manager care. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We came in during a Ducks game, which apparently is a big mistake. We sat at the bar for over 10 minutes staring at the employees in the back cleaning up with no bartender in sight. Even other customers were looking at us with nervous looks because no one came to talk to us. As we were walking out the door, a voice came from across the bar asking us if we need something. I turned to see who it was. It was a woman who I saw sitting at a table watching the game. I guess the game was more important than customer service. We had been wanting to try this place because we heard they had good beers, so we decided to go. Went in last night, which was a Saturday. It looked pretty busy, but the bar had a couple of tables for two. There were 4 of us, so we decided to get a table in the dining area after hearing people doing karaoke and not having enough seats. When we sat down, we had already drank a drink from the bar but closed the tab out. We noticed there was a big party of firemen at some tables. We sat in between two of their tables. Our waitress walked by a few times not even acknowledging us. Finally, after 15 minutes of thinking she would stop for us, I stopped her and asked her for some menus. She said ok, but was pretty quick and unfriendly. She brought them after 5 minutes. During that time we needed more drinks but couldn't find her. My sisters boyfriend got annoyed and went and opened his tab at the bar again. Apparently she noticed he did that, so she came and said she was busy and that she would be right back to take our orders. All the while just seemed to have an attitude or was annoyed. When she arrived, We ordered two appetizers, a beer, Moscow Mule and a dinner. She said their were no more cups for the mule but that when there was she would bring my husband the drink, which she said shouldn't be too long. She brought my beer pretty fast, but again seemed annoyed dropping it off. She was very unfriendly but then we would see her with the other tables smiling and chatting with them. She never did that with us. She was short. We also saw her a few times talking with the karaoke girls and then going outside to chat and take a hit of their cigarette. She dropped off our appetizers and didn't even bring utensils. We couldn't find her to ask, so we ate with our fingers. Luckily it was potato skins. We sat there for another 20 minutes. She never came to ask how we were, or if we needed anything. Would walk right by us and not even look. By this time a lot of those firemen had left. Again, I had to ask her when our dinner was coming out. She said, "oh, they didn't bring it?" Like give me a break, she never even put it in! I told her no, and she walks to the back. Takes another five minutes as I see her in the bar again. Comes back about 3 minutes later and literally walks by and says it will be here in five minutes not even stopping or apologizing. That was it for me. We were all ticked off already and said we didn't even want to be there anymore. Another guy came to clean the table off and we asked him to tell her to cancel the dinner. She never brought his Moscow Mule after 40 minutes of ordering it either. She walked by again so we asked for the bill. She said ok. And walked away. Didn't even apologize for the dinner not getting to us or anything. She was just plain out RUDE! We ended up leaving and gave her only a 2 dollar tip which I told my husband not to even do. Luckily for her, we didn't catch her name but she was a short dark haired young girl who could have possibly been Latina. Unfortunately for them, We will never go back and will tell our friends and neighbors who all live in Eastvale about the horrible service. We ended up going to the Water Wheel in Norco where it was three times packed and had our drinks refilled before we were even done with what we had,and never had to ask! read more

Do not go here! I came all the way from Las Vegas to meet up with my friends for a bday karaoke fun night. As we were waiting for our turn the guy on the mic was singing a Spanish song, but then decided to start yelling f**k y'all n****, and repeated over and over to the point it was uncomfortable and we decided to leave. We were a group of five black women and instead of walking completely out let management know and he said he heard him, and that he would not let him do karaoke for the rest of the night. Wow that's it? What about setting an example and kicking the guy out? Smh very disappointed, so sad that racism is still so strong in certain places and still there is "nothing" we can do about it but write a yelp review from the comfort of my home where I am "safe" from the ignorance of the world. read more

If you like Karaoke and love the sound of feedback then this is the place for you! The KJ refused to address the issue and made the singers sound horrible as well as making the songs unbearable to sit through. We have previously gone here for karaoke and have been very happy, but this KJ was one we have never seen before and needless to say, we were unimpressed with her. When we made her aware of the sound problems, she shrugged her shoulders and continued to do nothing about it. We decided to finish our drinks and stay for one last rotation, only to find that she had cut us out of the last rotation. We spent $53.00 within 1 1/2 hours for weak drinks and horrible sound.
