JD is phenomenal! Thank you for making my daughter Ashley's Sweet 16 party a great success! All the guests had a GREAT time. I received so many positive feedback on the music. I credit JD on his experience assessing the crowd and maintaining the energy in the room. He kept everyone moving on the dance floor. He even sang a song to the birthday girl. He's ON POINT! I bought different packages from JD besides entertainment - photobooth and giant games. He did a fabulous job on the lighting. The lights accentuated the cake, candy table and balloons. Wish I had bought the full lighting package. Note to self: get the full lighting package and monogram lighting at next event. The giant games Jenga and Tic Tac Toe was a huge hit for the kids off all ages! Same for the photobooth! I highly recommend JD as DJ and entertainer for future events. He's punctual, professional, accommodating, easy to work with, price is reasonable, and more importantly, he keeps the energy alive! THANK YOU!!

My husband and I stole JD from a friend's wedding after we experienced the "best wedding ever"! We were so thoroughly impressed by his talent, and awesome personality that he was the first vendor we booked when we started planning our wedding. The number one thing my husband and I wanted for our wedding, was for all of our guests to have an amazing time. In order to make that happen we knew we needed to have a fantastic DJ that could set the right mood and keep the party going all night long. JD did an amazing job of coordinating with me and my wedding planner to ensure we incorporated all of the elements that we were looking for. He was even able to play an obscure Chinese song for my father/daughter dance. Everyone had a great time and we owe a big portion of that to JD. He is fun, upbeat, well organized and super responsive. And to make the deal even sweeter, he is reasonably priced. I loved my wedding and had such a great time. Thank you JD!

Great party host! JD exceeded my expectation as a host. I hired him for my mom's 75th birthday party and it was awesome! He engaged our guests and made the environment really fun and entertaining! 4th of July event in San Gabriel.

Year after year, JD does an amazing job at the City of San Gabriel's 4th of July Event. He is a major piece of what makes the event such a success. JD is a great MC/DJ who always has the crowd dancing and everyone involved in all of the day's activities. He is very professional and easy to work with. Can't thank JD enough for all that he has done, not just during 4th of July but also other San Gabriel events. Look forward to working with him again.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. On the day of my event, I was left stressed and scrambling because the owner almost didn't show up. I was told that my event hadn't even been put into their calendar, despite my deposit and prior communication. That level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially when clients are trusting you with important events. What made matters worse was the lack of accountability and poor customer service when addressing the situation. Instead of taking responsibility and reassuring me, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional. I had to ask for some sort of compensation and she only took $20 off and stated it was a "slight inconvenience" which to her it was but not for me. She set up while my party was going on and didn't even use the colors I requested. If it is the businesses mess up I feel they need to take more accountability especially since I was a returning customer. In the end, things like this shouldn't happen when you're running a business that people rely on for special occasions. I would strongly recommend others confirm multiple times or consider other vendors to avoid the stress I experienced.

It was a fun and great party. They have many different amenities from tables/chairs, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwaves, credenza & wooden backdrop. Just to name a few. You can bring your own food/beverages and also they will help you clean up. Prices vary depending on the occasion/event. They range between $150-$300 an hour. Weekends can be just a little more expensive. They brought a taco truck and were able to cater and set up in the outdoor space. Everyone had a blast both times that I was there. Just wanted to sing praises for the amazing support Alexis provided for our wedding dinner at Bar…read moreChelou. My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning.  The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide.  Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned.  I know certainly that without JME and Alexis, our night would not have went off as seamlessly as it did and I am so grateful for JME and their team. I am already plotting on when I can plan another party and hire JME :)

My (then) boyfriend and I got engaged in February 2021, and I always knew I'd want a slightly longer engagement, just to push things out so I'd have more time to decide on what I wanted and how I wanted it. From the start, however, we already knew we wanted to work with Lilian and her team. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Her communication was spot on - not just with us, but with our vendors, and with handling any (not unexpected) last minute changes. She was so easy to reach and communicate with, and was always so patient and efficient. She knew what we wanted, what we needed, and offered suggestions along the way. On our big day, her team was just as great - from the pre-wedding set up, making sure our bridal party had everything we needed, even helping us order boba - Lilian had everything all thought out. She checked in with us throughout the busy night, and helped wrap things up seamlessly. We truly couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and would not have had it any other way. From the very first inquiry to the follow-up message when your event is done, Kalinda and team will meet your every question attentively and promptly, and create a magical experience for all involved. Every character is a real-life princess and is so deeply caring with the lore and background and behavior of the world(s) they inhabit. I have been to and hosted many a Wishing Well party and I am always blown away - it truly feels like you have these characters come to life straight out of the stories and movies. Oh! And the insanely beautiful voices and dancing?? It's unreal. We most recently hosted a birthday party with Moana and when she started singing to the children the entire party went silent...the adults thought at first that she was lip-syncing to a recording and then quickly became convinced that we had worked some magic to have Moana pop right out of DIsney+ and into our lives. It was amazing. Wishing Well is amazing. On top of the mind-blowing, crowd-pleasing characters come to life, Kalinda also is sure to make sure that every possible detail is communicated and taken care (since we all know that things can fall through the cracks with the million things going on in life and party planning...)! I have always felt so taken care of and know that when Wishing Well is involved, it's going to be a magical day for everyone.

Not to mention, Kalinda was very attentive through email during the booking process, and even while away in another country on vacation, she handled a last-minute performer swap wonderfully due to an emergency.
