She kept the dance floor packed, played such a great mix of music, and made our reception SO much fun. Everyone loved her, and we had so many guests telling us how amazing our DJ was! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and are so happy we had Doralee there to make our night so special and memorable. We would 100% recommend Doralee and VOXDJs!

My wife and I got married in March and used VOX DJs to fulfill all of our music needs, and our…read morespecific DJ--Doralee--met the moment so beautifully. In the planning stages, she worked with us via multiple Zoom calls, always coming prepared and with fresh, original ideas. From the get go, she brought positive energy and an incredibly kind spirit, which gave us such a huge peace of mind going into the wedding weekend. She was just as excited for us to get married as we were! One of the highlights of Doralee's exceptional work was how much of a hit she was with our attendees! We had so many guests come up to us the night of the wedding and in the days after complimenting her playlist and skills on the turntables. We wanted a diverse set of music--from 70s disco to modern dance--and as a result there was always a song playing that someone on the dance floor loved. It was a broad request for a DJ to deliver on, but Doralee nailed it. I might be biased, but I've never seen a dance floor stay as active and lively as ours did, and she played a massive role in making that happen. Doralee was also in charge of handling all of the cues and background music for the ceremony, which was spectacular in its own right. Even though she hadn't worked at our chosen venue before, she handled the setup and logistics with class and ensured the little details were taken care of. Again, it made our wedding-day stress levels that much lower and provided such a beautiful ambience to an already beautiful day. Overall, we simply have to recommend VOX DJs for your wedding (or any special event), and specifically Doralee Angelo. If you want wholesome, uplifting planning sessions followed by intentional, dream-come-true wedding day bliss, give them a shot and don't think twice! Thank you VOX and Doralee for being such a vital part of the greatest day of our lives!!

Rem provided a Spotify playlist prior to the event to allow us to inspect the songs and request others. At the party, the DJ booth really brought life to the party and was a great buffer between activites and mealtime. Also the added convenience of being able to make announcements over his mic proved much more effective over yelling at our guests at the top of our lungs to get their attention..lol.. We collabed on playing a "Hot Potato" type game with the kids for a prize, and all in all, I can't thank him enough for the awesome time everyone had. I will seek him out for all of our celebrations and events, moving forward.

We got married in Hawaii and came back to the mainland to have a big reception with all our family and friends. With Christian's enthusiasm, he practically took control of the whole event - even things he knew he didn't have to do but wanted to. That was important to us and oh so helpful on the day of the event. He completely came through with everything we agreed on and then some. He did our lighting, the MC/DJ'ing, etc, etc. Even coordinated with all the other vendors we had going that day to make sure everything was just perfect for us. He Simply amazing. As a DJ, I had a strong sense of what music I wanted including what a good DJ is versus a bad one. Plus, music was one of the few major wedding planning responsibilities I was given, other than showing up both on time and dressed properly :) Let's just say, I did not want to screw this up by hiring a lame DJ. Anyway, it was a few years ago... a perfect day in Malibu... and Christian arrived on time and ready. He has a system for working with his clients, which definitely influenced me in realizing how organized I need to be when preparing for a serious gig like a wedding. Christian has the experience and that allowed me to worry about one less thing on my wedding day. Like most cases, I think success heavily depends on communication and Christian always responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. One of our biggest concerns was for the reception to be fun, not drag on slowly like many do, and for everyone to enjoy themselves and dance!! He definitely met that expectation with great song selections, solid mixing (not abrupt stop/play or non-beat matched transitions.. one of my DJ pet peeves), and professional MCing (not cheesy) that helped lead the party along the planned timeline. The dance floor was filled all night! Finally, Christian will go above and beyond if need be. One example I clearly remember is when the projector screen became unstable due to the increase in wind (outdoor reception) and Christian jumped right behind it to keep it propped up (for the entire slideshow). How awesome is that?
