We loved working with Dennis, Alfred & emcee Joe. They were organized and professional with their timeline & music choices for my daughter's 18th birthday debut! They made everything so individualized- let the girls choose their entrance duets and let each Rose of the 18 Roses timestamp their songs to coordinate their dance moves! We couldn't have asked for a better team! We highly recommend them and can't wait until the next one! Thank you Dennis and team! read more

A+ for Audio FX Productions! Dennis (DJ) and Joe (MC) were so wonderful to work with and made my mom's 80th birthday party a huge success. We had needed help figuring out a fun and meaningful program, music to span many generations and the 1920's theme. They crushed it on all fronts, including providing a last minute referral to a great photographer and of course the Photo Booth. I hope to have a chance to work with them again! read more

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dennis and Junior for making our wedding the best day ever. Their professionalism and top notch communication is unmatched but we were really touched by the kindness and comfort the Audio FX team provided to us during stressful wedding planning. We threw a variety of music genres at them and they folded each mix so seamlessly and effortlessly in a way that kept every guest happy. The only complaint we got was from our guests who would try to sit down and immediately get back up to dance because it was hit after hit. I've never been to a wedding where the vibes have been up from start to finish. I will truly miss working with this team but have full confidence I'll see them at another event again. MUCH love to Dennis and team. read more

Dennis and his team did a wonderful job for our daughter's 18th birthday celebration/debut! Music was on spot, EVERYONE enjoyed the music and the photobooth was a success! DJ, Emcee and photobooth all setup prior to the event. They were very professional and dressed to impress! This was actually the second event we had with Dennis and his team. He DJed our Family Reunion last year and it was a success! He was able to play music for everyone, even the Ilocano songs! Dennis and his team met with us to ensure the event would be a success and it was. It was a memorable evening! Thanks again for everything! If you're looking for a DJ, look no further. Dennis and his team got you! read more

I've known Dennis for over 30 years and have attended a number of Audio FX events. It's always a great time and they never disappoint! I worked with Dennis personally for the first time earlier this month when we celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Dennis made the whole process of preparing for this big event simple and fun. He met with my parents so that he could get to know their style and preferences. We provided a playlist of some favorite hits and he supplemented them with songs that blended in seamlessly with the different genres. I even threw in a couple of last minute changes and he kept track of each of them. My big Filipino family loves to dance and he kept them on the dance floor practically all night long. Even when there was a hiccup with the projector system for the slideshow, Dennis stayed calm and helped to find another solution. The slideshow and the whole evening turned out wonderful! Guests kept telling us what a great time they had. Next time I plan another party/event I'm hiring Audio FX for the win! read more

We found out about Dennis through a family friend recommendation and we could not be happier with how our special day went with him! Despite the weather conditions (it was raining lol) him and his partner showed UP and we all had a blast. Communication was very quick and easy. He was always available to answer any questions and hear out my little requests to make my day special. On our wedding day, we found out that other friends and family have heard about him too. Highly recommend!! read more

Hi All. Dennis and group are the best in the business. They helped us out with our wedding and made everything run smoothly. They are very professional and have tons of knowledge of event planning. I would recommend them to anyone out there for any event. Thanks for everything Audio FX Productions! read more

Hands down one of the best DJs ever. Extremely professional, set up, and ready to go early. His sound system was great, and song choices were perfect! Our school had a wonderful time enjoying his entertainment. I highly recommend using Dennis at Audio FX Productions at your next event! read more

Wow! Dennis played for our school Annual Auction/Gala and kept the party going! Great music and a fun vibe for sure. He was very professional and easy to work with as well. He was on time and prepared. We hope to see you again real soon. read more

We used Audio FX for our wedding in May of 2023. Dennis was communicative and helpful from day one. However, his professionalism and expertise as an MC really shined through at our reception. We didn't have a wedding planner, and Dennis gave suggestions and reminders that we hadn't even considered. He suggested a group photo with all of our wedding guests (our photographer hadn't suggested it) and it ended up being one of our favorite photos. He even refilled our water glasses--a small gesture, but something we desperately needed at that moment. We can't say enough good things about him! Thanks again, Dennis! read more

Cant give more than 5 stars huh? Boo! Dennis and his team are total pros. They made our wedding perfection! They knew what questions to ask us, what to expect and were prepared for everything. I cant see myself hiring any other DJ for all my future events and highly recommend him and his team. Thanks for everything Dennis!!!! read more

Amazing and Memorable!! That's how I would describe Alfred who was the DJ for our daughters' graduation party this past weekend. He definitely set the mood for the entire night as his set was high-energy, nostalgic, and fun for attendees of every age. He was easy going and personable to everyone and we received multiple compliments from our guests about Alfred. Thank you again Alfred and Audio FX for making the party extra special! read more

They are true professionals through and through. Dennis and his team worked with us over the past few months to plan and execute my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We shared ideas on the music and schedule for the night and they pulled it off perfectly. They setup early, came through huge with helping out with the projector when the venue didnt have the right hookups - avoiding a huge disaster. They also play the best music whether your guests are 8 to 80 years old! Their music library and MC skills are top notch! They were also the DJ / MC my own wedding 14 years ago and that went off without a hitch, so I had to bring them back for my parents' special event. AudioFX has been entertaining people since the 90s so you are in good hands! Not only great at what they do, but also just good people in general. I would highly recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dennis DeCastro (Audio FX). This is the second year we hired Dennis to DJ our Christmas party. He's part of our work family now -- great emcee for our White Elephant Gift Exchange! Perfect selection of music! But, most of all, a wonderful person! We had the pleasure of recommending his services to a friend for their wedding and they were incredibility pleased. I can't wait for our next event ... read more

Dennis & the crew did an AWESOME job providing the DJ + MC services for our wedding!! From our first meeting with Dennis, he was so helpful, and followed up on important details such as song selections, timeline & name pronunciations, during our conversations leading up to the actual wedding day. The entire night's timeline went so smoothly, and the music was on point! I had multiple guests coming up to me saying that they absolutely loved the music. And the dance floor was packed at the end of the night. My fiance and I had talked about our music preferences and certain songs that we liked, and with that information, Dennis & Audio FX were able to create the best atmosphere for our wedding day. They also provided audio recordings of the entire night, which we were able to share with our family & friends. We highly recommend them! If you're looking for an experienced & all-around amazing MC/DJ, then look no further, Audio FX will provide the best services! read more

My husband and I hired Audio FX for our wedding at the Ebell and couldn't be happier! Dennis was a pleasure to work with. His professionalism, experience and attention to detail made the wedding planning easy. He even met with us a few times to ensure he had our song requests, timing down and EVEN joined us on our venue walk-thru for placement and sound quality. That's impeccable service in my books knowing they played such a vital part of our day. A "high five" to running the music so smoothly with no awkward silence from beginning to end. Both Dennis and Junior know how to get the party started. Everyone raved about the music and partied the night away. We highly recommend them for any event! THANK YOU for making our day memorable! read more

Audio FX Productions recently provided both DJ and MC services for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The music was so good that I had multiple people complimenting it during the wedding and asking for the playlist. Is this normal?? He also provided me a full recording of the entire day and I have shared this with all the people who complimented the music. I absolutely loved it. The MC was also great moving things along and not saying more than necessary. I recommend this team to anyone looking for these services for any event!! read more

Audio FX Productions is the DJ/MC branch of the Cerritos All Star radio station and Justin B and myself hired them for our recent wedding. overall we were happy with Audio Fx - working with Roland was easy and he was very professional in all of our meetings and correspondence. the price was affordable for us since they provided both DJ and MC services and although we didnt need to use all of their technical/lighting equipment because our venue provided it, it was nice to know that it was available for our use and its pretty cool that they are a full service vendor. so Justin B is a huge fan of Cerritos All Stars and the type of music they play (old school hip hop style) so we were excited to have them at our wedding. we gave them a list of artists and general type of genre that we preferred to have played at our wedding and while they did adhere to that, i felt that they could have done it better...at the reception, they would throw in a song here and there that we had requested, but they were definitely playing way more recent radio friendly hits instead of the older style that Justin B. wanted. a lot of the artists that we mentioned that we liked weren't played as well so i felt like they just kind of threw our preferences out the window. Also what did irk me was that i felt that they should have done their homework on the MC portion of the night. guests told me that the MC announced my name as "kristine" to the crowd before correcting himself and i felt that they should have been more assertive in making announcements throughout the night. seemed like the guests all had a good time and the dance floor was always occupied so i guess it worked in the end but just that little bit of extra effort along the way would have made a huge difference for me. read more

Audio FX Productions - DJs Near Me

Perfect! We hired audio FX for our wedding b/c they had done some of our friends weddings and did an amazing job. Plus my fiancee is from Cerritos and she went to HS w/ one of the DJ's. Dennis was a pleasure to deal with and he made everything easy to understand. I thought (silly groom!) that it would be just picking a few songs, but selecting music is quite a task. Plus, you don't want the dances to be long songs, etc. Audio FX was great! They started and ended all the 'mother/son', 'father/daughter', and 'bride/groom' songs at the perfect times so that our guests got the idea behind why we selected them, but didn't get bored listening to them. Joe and Joel did a great job! Thank you Audio FX for helping to make our wedding day the most spectacular celebration of love and family that we have ever been a part of! read more

We used Audio FX for our wedding on 07/02/22! They were amazing. Dennis is easy to talk to and schedule meetings with leading up to our event. The transitions were seamless, clear MCing, and great song selection for the crowd going! Thanks for being part of our special day. read more

We used Audio FX to do the lighting for our backyard wedding reception. From start to finish, Dennis and his team were very helpful and professional. Since were doing major renovations and landscaping, he even came by two times to consult and plan the setup. Installation of the rented lighting was a breeze; they were good-natured about my dad chatting them up, although I'm sure he was a distraction. Teardown was smooth too (no problem waiting till the next day to avoid noise ordinance problems and were considerate about not starting too early so we could sleep in). The highlight of their professionalism: the set aside a tub of extra light bulbs just in case any of them went out during the event. We didn't need them, but it was nice that they were prepared. And, of course, they executed our vision perfectly. Highly recommend!! read more

Audio FX did our DJ and lighting for our wedding and I have nothing but good things to say about Dennis and his team. From the very beginning, they were always professional. Dennis takes the time to explain everything clearly and succinctly. He responded to my emails, texts, and telephone calls really quickly, which really put my mind at ease when I was planning the wedding. Prior to the event, Dennis scouted the venue with us and gave us several options for lighting and sound equipment. All packages were very reasonable and if you wanted something added/subtracted, Dennis always accommodated. Lastly, Dennis is an amazing DJ. One of the biggest priorities for our wedding was to have music that suited us. He asked for the general genres that we wanted to be played during specific portions of the wedding as well as specific songs and artists. Dennis did not disappoint and the dance floor was never empty. He read the crowd well and responded accordingly. I highly recommend Audio FX for any special event that you have. read more

My husband and I were married in Nov 2013 and we were fortunate enough to have Audio FX Productions DJ and MC our wedding reception! Overall: + Completely professional and quick response times + Had a timeline template that I filled out with ease + Asked for a few samples of songs/artists that my husband and I liked to build a custom playlist that represented us as a couple, versus the typical "wedding playlist" + Met with us twice to confirm details and song choices + Asked for phonetically-correct names, in order to ensure correct announcements + Worked well with our venue coordinator to ensure that power capacity, audio speakers, etc. were aligned with our venue's policies + Customized lighting options to fit our theme / colors (e.g. spot lighting, up lighting, etc.) They also helped us customize our wedding by contracting string lighting and posts in our wedding reception - this was the first-ever for our venue and we were thrilled to see how it turned out. It made the venue stand out among other weddings. We only provided the overall concept, they were able to contract out, have the lights and posts set up before the cocktail hour even began. We highly recommend Dennis and his team - they were gracious, professional, and courteous. They ran the wedding timeline close to what was laid out; however, still went "with the flow" of the events, making sure not to abruptly stop something if everyone was having a good time, just for the sake of the timeline. It was a balancing act, and they did great! read more

I am a wedding coordinator and had the pleasure of working with Dennis and Junior over the past weekend at a wedding - these guys are top-notch! Not only were they easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that the entire wedding day ran smoothly. They showed up early and were set up well in advance, and did a great job with the music and getting people up and out of their seats to dance. I think that they did a fantastic job at reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play to keep the party going. Hands down favorite new DJ company. You guys rock! Highly recommend to any couple looking for a wedding DJ, or anyone looking for a DJ to keep guests up and dancing at an event! read more

Dennis and his team were amazing from start to finish. Very professional, responsive and easy to work with. They did a fantastic job sticking to the timeline and making sure everything ran smoothly. Dennis was the perfect MC - great energy but not over the top (where it becomes cheesy). The music was amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it, and they continued to mention the music in all their posts about the wedding afterwards. They nailed it with our music style and preferences without us having to do too much. The sound system sounded fantastic as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Thank you Dennis for everything. You made everything so easy and organized. All our guests enjoyed your choice of musics, even my boss and CEO were dancing all night. Thank you again. Lastly a special thanks to Joel V. My husband is super lucky to have a friend like you :) read more

I can't say enough for Dennis and his crew. We recently hired him for my daughter's 18th birthday, Filipino debut. I remember him from my wife's cousin's wedding years ago where he was the MC/DJ. I remembered how good he was so I told my wife that I would like to hire him after she interviewed several other DJs. I told her why take a chance with someone else when I already saw Dennis in action and was quite happy with his on stage presence and how he would get the crowd to dance. Needless to say, my wife and I were so happy with our decision. He took the time to meet with my wife, me and my daughter to make sure he got to know us and to make sure the program was going to be done right. We had several other telephone and Skype meetings prior to the event at the Pelican Hill resort. We all wanted to make sure it went perfect. On the day of the event, I was so pleased to know that Dennis was willing to help out to do some of the manual tasks and coordinate, like a director, to handle any issues that came up. We had a full pack program which Required a lot of coordination with the hotel staff, performers, priests, special guests, etc. So a big hats off to Dennis and his crew for making it happen. My wife and I along with my daughter appreciate all the time and effort you put in to make this a memorable 18th birthday celebration. We would have no reservation in recommending or hiring you again! read more

Thank you AudioFx for the excellent music you provided for our wedding that kept our dancefloor full all night. The ombre purple lighting and backdrop draping were a beautiful addition to our elegant ballroom. Dennis was very professional during all our pre-planning meetings as we discussed the lighting, draping, and music options. Dennis' knowledge and experience in various music genres created the perfect wedding vibe. As requested, he played all the old-school R&B jams during our cocktail hour and dinner, and then played all the feel good dance music that all ages were dancing to. We liked that he mixed the whole time too, which created smooth transitions between songs. Joe kept our guests engaged and informed during the 6-hour reception. Dennis and Joe worked really well together, reading our guest's vibes and making all the wedding events run smooth. Thank you AudioFx for your beautiful lighting and draping, and most importantly, your music that kept the party going. read more

Dennis was referred to me by a fellow event coordinator, and I would highly recommend him. He was on-time, efficient, professional, and added greatly to the success of the evening. We used him for a backyard couples bridal shower, and he was absolutely fantastic!! read more

I was recently married and was lucky enough to have Junior and Dennis as my DJ/MC. They were referred to me by my photographers whom have attended many weddings in the past. A referral from them really meant a lot to me because it came with credibility. Needless to say, I had high expectations. Junior and Dennis not only delivered, but they exceeded my expectations five fold. Dennis as the MC was very entertaining and kept our guests engaged from start to finish. Junior as the main DJ was on point the entire night. He understood the diverse audience and catered the music selection to incorporate different genres and keep everyone on the dance floor the whole time. Both were very professional and well prepared for our Big Day. All of our guests were thoroughly satisfied with the music they were dancing to. They did not want the night to end. Junior and Dennis (Audio FX) have truly perfected their craft. Anyone whom has the privilege of their services for their special event, is in for a real treat! read more

Audio FX is the best in the business! My wife and I were married in November 2014 and couldn't have asked for a better DJ and MC for our wedding. Very professional and easy to work with. My wife and I got married end of May 17' and started the discussions with Dennis and Junior back in Nov 16'. From our first phone conversation, we knew we had our DJs as we just felt extremely confident that these dudes are experts in their field. Very professional team and just extremely responsive to any questions that we asked. It was less stressful that my wife and I didn't have to create a full song list for the wedding but simply provided a few songs/genres, and Dennis and Junior pretty much said "We got you." Another reason why these guys are the best is the ability to tailor to specific needs for the wedding day. My wife's sister directly communicated with them to implement carefully selected songs to her Maid of Honor speech, and let's just say the performance was flawless...it was like a mini Broadway! Finally, they just rocked the venue! From heads bobbing while eating dinner, to parents/uncles/aunts dancing with their hearts out, to a packed dance floor up to the last song, the music was simply sick! We got so many compliments from guests with some family members wanting Dennis and Junior to be their DJs at their weddings!! My wife and I couldn't be more happy with the dynamic duo of Dennis and Junior and they were very instrumental in creating the perfect wedding for us! Thanks guys! read more
