The music was pretty good, although some of the transitions were ROUGH & he played a song from my "absolutely do not play!" list, so IDK if he looked at it. DJ Oda has a large selection of music but before he gets to know your playlist, he wants to get to know your personality. This to me was the selling point for me. I spoke with dozens of DJ's. It's obvious who those guys are who are cheesy and just trying to do the job. There are tons of DJ's who just hit autoplay and do wedding after wedding. DJ Oda really took the time and also gave us the assurance that "everything will be taken care of" ...and it did. Day of the wedding, honestly, I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to the music and playlists etc. It's hard to think about background music but since my wedding last month, I think about how much effort DJ Oda actually did put into our entertainment. I've been to a handful of weddings where DJ's have too loud of a personality or don't say a thing and ruin the flow. Dj Oda was the PERFECT complement to our wedding, he did just the right amount of announcements, he carried an over joyed amount of enthusiasm, and many of my friends at the end of the wedding wanted Oda's information. I did notice the small things...for example, playing songs with lyrics that were appropriate to the situation, announcing to guests to utilize the photo booth, and encouraging people to sign guestbooks. It wasn't a flood of announcements, but it's those small reminders make him a terrific MC for the evening as well. Also may I commend him for having affordable prices!! Last note: Oda is a freaking honest good guy and he'll tell you what you need and don't need. He won't try to upsell you nor will he try to sneak in extra fees for BS things.
