I'm sorry to report that my last dinner at Shakti's was disappointing. Valentine's Day, 2016. The main course was filet mignon with a colossal prawn and mashed potatoes and fresh string beans. The prawns were over cooked and had that awful fishy after taste that required much wine to cleanse away. The filet was ordered medium rare and arrived rare and cold to the touch. The potatoes were not thoroughly mashed as they had large clumps and slices. These too were just shy of Luke warm. Normally, I'm not one for complaining but after dropping $200 for a special night out, my expectations are higher than Denny's fare. Until something changes at Shakti's, save your money and buy a good steak from Mike's meats. The salad was good. read more

My wife and I ate there yesterday in the bar. Clams were ok but the read was at least 2 days old and the butter was cold!

This place always has fabulous food and service! It is a bit pricey, but a beautiful place for date night, drinks or a special occasion! We have been going here for years and we've never been disappointed. read more

I would consider us to be pretty regular here though I think we are going to need to take a break and perhaps let them work on their consistency. The last two times have been very inconsistent both in service and food. Lately my favorite has been the Linguine di mare which is suppose to have scallops which the last two times did not! The sauce tonight was very lemony and spicy this is a first...I think they must have mixed up their spices. I really enjoy this restaurant and used to consider it a hidden gem but lately they are missing their mark. The restaurant is also so dark you can't see your food! I miss the wait staff they used to have they at least recognized us and we always received excellent service. read more

Don't go if you're dining alone. Hostess-and it wasn't some young kid- sat and argued with me that I MUST be there to get gift certificates if I was by myself. I assured her I would like to eat dinner. By yourself????? She said incredulously. I tried one other time and was it took three people to figure out to do with someone dining alone. The first time I walked out, second time I ate an appetizers just because I was too stubborn to be run off again. I won't go back. Too bad because the appetizers was quite good read more

Best steak in Wenatchee, hands down, no doubt about it. For steak lovers out there, lets make sure we are on the same page... I like my steak medium rare (leaning towards rare), good seasoning, and a good cut. It sounds simple but cooking a steak is definitely an art. This place has it, so far above any other place in this town! Windmill? Been there (Overrated). Applebee's? Please, what a joke! Buzz Inn? Red Robin? Visconti's? Willies? Roaster? I'm a local, I've been there and done that. You want steak, get it here! read more

The service was slooooow. It took more than 45 minutes to serve the food. I'm going to say the food needs improvement if I'm going to be nice about it, but in reality the food sucked. I had a seafood dish that was bland. OMG, the prices are very pretentious. I met the owner/manager/chef (restaurant named after her), no people skills at all, very rude to say the least. Been there once for a conference, never went back. I would have given this place another chance but the owner's weird attitude was the biggest turn off. I agree with some of the reviews here, if you've never been outside of Wenatchee, unfortunately, in my opinion you're being shortchanged if you "fine dined" here. read more

I love this place. I saw a couple of reviews complaining about "slow service" but since it's not McDonalds, I didn't mind the time I had to converse with my company... anyway, the food is wonderful. Reasonably priced entrees, great martinis, and if you get Ashley as a server, lucky you! I will definitely be coming back! read more

Food was okay at best. Everything was super spicey. Wine was over priced. I won't be back

I've never had a bad meal here. Pricey but well worth it. Fantastic crab cakes!!!

I'm not sure what the last guy is talking about-- complaining about LARGE portions? Seriously? thats a first! His review is funny! The waitress introduced herself? How offensive! I know the restaurant (Shaktis) pretty well. Some of the portions ARE generous, but nobody is force feeding you, take some home! And bland potatoes? *THEY'RE POTATOES* . I mean, maybe I'm missing something- are there magic potatoes somewhere I haven't tried? I've had them, and they're great! The steaks are awesome, great wine menu also. No problem with the service when I've been there, very polite, but busy some nights it seems. I just try and relax. Bottom line, maybe try it yourself I've told a few people about Shaktis and they're always impressed! read more

I don't even think I can rave about this place hard enough! I had the best lemon drop of my life here and consider myself be quite the lemon drop aficionado! The bread brought to our table was freshly baked and came with the most simple, yet amazing olive oil/garlic concoction. The service was perfect! Our waitress had perfect timing. Checked in on us at the perfect times. Ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer -OMG! melt in your mouth amazing! For dinner we got the Formaggio and the bolegnese... AGAIN WOW!! I have been to Bouchon in CA which has a world renown chef and reservations need to made months in advance. This place topped that! I will absolutely be back! Cant believe I waited so long to try this place! read more

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and we had an excellent dinner. Great service, delicious food, and a beautiful setting, very romantic.

You can't beat their martinis! While the food tends to be on the expensive side, it is worth the price and they have, hands down, the best happy hour in town. They get 5 stars for happy hour and 3 on the normal dinners (they are too much for what you get, and we once got mussels that were by no means fresh). Will always go back for happy hour though. read more

A very well-appointed space -- romantic atmosphere, which is a nice departure from the usual offerings in Wenatchee. We appreciated how warm our waitress was -- she made us feel attended to even though she was also managing hostess duties on a very busy evening. The food could have been better, especially at this price point. The primary issue for us was the inconsistent seasoning. The sauce on the rack of lamb was oversalted while the accompanying mashed potatoes were bland. The calamari in tomato coulis was heavy on lemon juice too. We'll return -- there's nothing like this in Wenatchee -- but we hope the chef gets things sorted out better in the kitchen. read more

Recent trips have found a big improvement! Still pricey but service was good, food was good and I think they are trying a little less too hard and have settled in with themselves. Enjoyable experience read more

The pasta here is very good but is so inconsistent. The Rigatoni 218 lacks the tomatoes, peppers, and Parmesan cheese as pictured. They post photos on Facebook of what it used to be or surpossed to be but when you get it main elements are missing. The negative posts are always taken down so never really shows an accurate account of opinions of people dining there as mine have been. Used to be a great place but tonight one table was dining in. Service was ok but the place was dead. Prices are a bit $$for what you get. read more

If you're ever in this part of town this diner is the best. Their duck is amazing!!!! By the way this place was recomemmended to me by my attorney, Andrew Melton; who is the best in town!!!!! read more

Great food, atmosphere, cocktails, service. Loved everything about our experience. Huge portions! Worth the price! Not a tiny fancy plate of food. Flavorful and comforting. We will definitely be back. read more

Celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary. Highly recommend the Twilight Dinner. We love the ambiance. Food is incredible.

we ordered the kobe beef burger & crab cakes. OMG, YUMMY!!! Seriously good food, and the atmosphere is great too. By the way, I lived in Seattle for 13 years and so I have had other great food, and it DOES compare. read more

Came here for our anniversary dinner, after having been here for happy hour months ago. We were expecting a nice meal, but what we weren't expecting was an amazing dinner with a remarkably nice house red, creative and delicious food and the best service we've had in years! Thank you, Eric, for an amazing experience! read more

Great food. Huge servings! We split my order of lamb chops and took home a full order of pasta. We liked the atmosphere. We've been in both the bar and the restaurant. Our server was excellent. No complaints from us. We will definitely return. The only problem we had is we couldn't find it on Yelp!! read more

I don't have enough positive things to say about this place. Let's start off with the service, it is phenomenal! I contacted the owner (who is also the chef there) and told her I would like to have a surprise 30th birthday party for my wife. She was so accommodating and wonderful! She truly made us feel welcome and special. When we arrived everything was perfect. The food came out timely and delicious. I have tried a few dishes from this restaurant and have not been disappointed in any of them. The food tastes high quality and fresh. The servers that took care of our large party handled everything efficiently and politely. I will be returning to this restaurant many times over. It's wonderful to have a place like this in our little town. read more

The salad did not have any dressing on it. The sockeye was over cooked. The mash potatoes were dry. The employees were more interested in their phones than the fact I didn't eat the poorly prepared food. Basically I threw away $50.00. read more

It was nice intimate dining experience. The dishes Had nice presentation. Enjoyed the crab cakes and the Sockeye salmon was ok. Didn't feel the quality of food was worth the price thou. Nothing mind blowing about the sides and the drinks were a little spendy; but they did have nice live music that didn't take away from the intimate dining experience you should expect from a smaller establishment. It is a nice place for happy hour drinks and appetizers. read more

First time at this restaurant. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Our waiter (Eric) was outstanding. He had great suggestions. Relaxing and very enjoyable evening with our friends....no rushing us through our dinner. We will definitely be back again!!! read more

This restaurant is.. a bit odd, starting with the reservation system. They apparently do not answer their phones very often. You leave a message and they are supposed to call you back about your reservation. They did not call back till the next day, which is an eternity when you are trying to plan an evening. On entering, the reservation desk is literally stuffed into a closet on the left side of a narrow hallway. We didn't see it for 10 mins. The atmosphere is romantic, but a little too dark and a little too cold. Service was a bit too long to get to us, but brisk and professional. I had a Del Mar dish and the shrimp was overcooked. My wife's dish was better. For the food and service you receive, the cost is very high. This is the reason we only visit about every 3 years or so. The wait time for getting your food, which was over an hour last time, has improved since our last visit. Hoping for better the next time we drop by. read more

Last night, we went to Shakti's during their early evening "Twilight Dinner " 4:00- 6:00 pm. It's a four course dinner. We sat in the nicely appointed bar. We had such a good time & the food was delicious with a beautiful presentation. As retired folks, it's worth going there once per month. In our opinion, Shakti's is still one of the best restaurants in Wenatchee, and we've lived here a long time. Great job, Shakti's! read more

sat in the outdoor garden and had dinner. We both had pasta dishes. The salad with the meal was very fresh and good, and the bread and dipping oil also excellent. The pasta dishes were both very good, mine was the seafood and had lots of seafood. There was alot of sauce and it could of used a bit more pasta, to use more of the sauce, but we really enjoyed our food and will be back. The garden is a lovely spot to eat. read more

This place never disappoints! One of our favorite special occasion restaurants. The appetizers are amazing, entrees are fresh and delicious, the craft cocktails are always made to perfection. Best happy hour in Wenatchee ! read more

Food is good. The main challenge I have is that I am a little bit vision impaired. The restaurant is always so dark, I have to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu - and I can't see the steps well to go down after eating so again, use a flashlight. I am always somewhat embarrassed to have to do that, so we do not go very often. That truly would be my main recommendation, to put in some floor illumination, and a way to see at the tables. read more

This is the best happy hour in town. The food is superb and high quality. It is beautifully presented. The atmosphere is classy and sophisticated and the happy hour prices are amazing. In particular, I enjoy the clams and an excellent Grey Goose Martini. Cheers! read more

Best Happy Hour and appetizers in town! Just wish for an upscale restaurant like Shakti's, the waitresses would dress more professionally. One had on jeans and another had on a workout shirt. read more

While advertisements listed happy hour in restaurant and bar, the owner refused to honor the advertised price for beverages in the restaurant. Additionally, would not honor the advertised price of martini's in the bar wanted to charge $1-2 more per drink that advertised. Additionally, service was slow even though restaurant was not busy. Salad and dinner plates did not get cleared. Took us over 30 minutes after server picked up our payment to be cashed out. No apologies. Food was good, but owner's attitude and service ruined the quality of the dinner..... Maybe should advertise - Good Food but with a Bad Atttiude..... read more

Service was extremely slow. Waitress did her best but it was under staffed. Very expensive and unfortunately not worth it.

Only been there once, might or might not be back again. It's not a bad place, the service is just fine, and the food is alright, but it just didn't have that spark. The price is what you would expect for a kind of launge like it is. I imagine it would work better for a larger group of people but it just didn't have that right feel for my small party of two. However, I would recommend it to friends that want a place with almost a Marlyn Monroe feel (if that makes any sense) lol. read more

Great service and fantastic food. I can't say enough good things about Shakti's.

We were very disappointed in the Salmon dinners very dry for the price we should have had perfect fish. We let our server know she just smiled at us something should have been done at that point. Our service of drinks was very slow. I am not sure we would go back again. read more

First I'll start out with the good. Our food was absolutely above expectations. We got the bruschetta as an app and the twilight meal. Both were superb with exception of the Bolognese sauce. But again it's better than anything else in the valley as far as italian goes ( and I'm a picky ny italian ) waitstaff was friendly and courteous. My only problems with this restaurant are for one the lighting. It was literally so dark that I had to move another candle from the next table over just so I could make out the menu. I'd def look into more lighting. And also we were charged full price for our app. I didn't take notice until my wife mentioned it after we left. All in alllit was a good experience. As far as price goes. It was 110.00 for me and my wife after a 20.00 tip. But that's about what I expected to pay before going. read more
