Very good seafood and crawfish with beer and wine. Went there with two friends and we all enjoyed a nice lunch. My favorite were the two orders of oysters. They went elbow deep with the rest... and left no evidence behind...

I am so happy that I found another spot other than Juicy Crab for bagged seafood!! The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and the portions are big. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. I didn't feel overloaded with sodium or bloated, as I often do after eating at other restaurants. There are no kids menus. But there are lots of fried basket options that kids can enjoy. My daughter enjoyed the fried catfish. Pretty crunchy and a good flavor. The butterfly shrimp were a little hard. Wouldn't recommend for kids. They also have crinkly fries - which were pretty good. I took away 1 star bc the service was a tad slow. We ate in the restaurant and there were no more than 2 other tables seated during the duration of dinner. Service was very slow or non-existent. No one asked if we needed anything after the food was delivered and we had to flag down our server for drink refills. Shouldn't have to flag down a server when 3 tables are seated.

I'm so confused why this place has such a low rating for their seafood when it's amazing! I came across this place from google restaurants in the area, and the reviews were good, however on Yelp, not so great. I still decided to give it a shot! Being from Miami and have even exposed to real seafood, I know what good food really is, and this place did not fail! Service was fast and food came out within 15minutes which was freshly prepared. The restaurant was clean, no bad smell of spoil seafood. I ordered the oyster basket ( 10 huge fresh oysters fried perfect), pound of crawfish with lemon pepper seasoning (amazing flavor), my brother had the special with the cluster snow crab, headless shrimp, and fried shrimp... amazing food! I'm definitely returning back before I head home.

Service was friendly and fast. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Great price for a good portion of seafood. We enjoyed our food as it was fresh and flavorful. We will be back soon. Also the decor was cute!

Orders 2 baskets of fried oysters bag combo e and c and split amongst 4. It was a lot of food! It was very flavorful though. I forgot the seasoning we got but super garlicky. -1 star only because they served crinkle cut fries. In my opinion, every fries potato is great but crinkle cut is probably the worst of them.

I think the 3.5 average for this place is probably fair. I tried this place for the first time via Uber Eats pick-up last night, since I had a 40% off coupon to use. I was torn on what to order and will most likely order one of the seafood boils next time, since that seems to be their specialty. However, I went with the fried calamari and hush puppies with a side of clam chowder to keep things fairly affordable and simple. There were no issues ordering thru Uber Eats for self pick-up - everything was ready on time, and still warm, despite me having to fight that crazy ATL traffic with 2+ accidents on BuHi slowing things down. Even after sitting for about an hour (since of course, I had to use the restroom and fill my tires on the way home also), everything was still at a good temperature surprisingly. The calamari was still crisp, so shout out to the chef for that! When you pick up, there's a window directly to the left of the entrance inside where they hand you your food through a little door, so essentially contactless delivery which is always good in these times. It was a quick in-and-out process, and I was thankful there was plenty of parking even on a crazy Friday night. The girl who helped me was nice, and everything was packaged securely which I always appreciate, especially when there are a lot of sauces or soup included. Although, the texture and cooking of it was great, the seasoning on the calamari was quite a bit lacking for my taste. I prefer a saltier or more flavorful batter and this wasn't it. The "garlic butter" tasted just like plain butter, so not sure if they mixed that up - it was not salty or flavorful at all. However, the spicy mayo and sweet chili sauce that came with the calamari at least were nice complements to the dish and added flavor. The hush puppies were not anything special; I would say Captain D's does a better job on those overall, but they were worth a try. My favorite item was the clam chowder - it had all the flavor that the calamari and hush puppies lacked. I would get this item again, along with a seafood boil. I'm disappointed I didn't get any corn or potatoes as Uber Eats lists these items as included with the calamari and other dishes, but this wouldn't be the first time UE had an incorrect listing or issue. I guess I'll have to come back for the aforementioned items, along with the gumbo at check-in, but overall not a bad experience and definitely worth a try.

The food here is awesome! You need to come quickly. It is very good and the building is clean from what I can tell. They are more than generous with the sauce in your boil bags and there is no need to ask them for extra as extra is already included basically. Nothing extra other than your favorite boil bag. The gumbo was good and I am not judgmental and I am open to try different variations. Noooo they didn't have hot dogs in them so I'm good!

This is a disgusting restaurant! The SEAFOOD is not FRESH! I repeat the SEAFOOD is not fresh! From the fried food to the boil/steam food. Everything is frozen and imitation. The sauce is super sweet. My friend ordered the fried catfish bit into it and realize that this is store bought frozen fish and not fresh. We asked could we return this and they said no. Customer services sucked. She was on her phone the entire time not doing anything. She never came over to check in on us .

Shaking Crawfish is our go-to for seafood near our home. Located on Buford Highway, this place is hard to miss with its unique looking building. The style of the building is actually what made me interested in trying it out. The Atmosphere: To me, the interior of Shaking Crawfish looks like a ship that crashed and plummeted to the bottom of the ocean, with fishing nets hanging all over and boat steering wheels. I feel this decor adds to the dining experience. The Service: Eh, the service is okay. Never had anyone rude or a bad experience, but if I could give any advice, I'd possibly request that they be a bit more attentive. Check on customers from time to time. I found myself seeking a waiter/waitress more than once on different occasions. The Food: There's only ONE thing I get when I come to Shaking Crawfish: 1 pound of boiled shrimp (No head) for $14.99 with corn on the cob (.69 each). Err'thang sauce. This meal has never let me down. It comes out in a bag and you're given gloves with a bib, to prevent a mess. I highly recommend! * Once, we ordered no headed shrimp for a house warming and when we got to our location, they all had HEADS. I damn near didn't eat them. Freaked me out lol. We were also charged the No Head price as it is a little bit more. Overall, I'm definitely a fan of Shaking Crawfish. My wife and I come here often for date nights. And from the looks of our last visit, it's a pretty popular date spot for many other couples.

I've seen this place on TikTok a few times and added it to my list. Since I was up in the area, I…read moredecided to give it a try and I was happy I did. The location is Self-Serve, so you can order at a Kiosk or over the Phone. Once the order is ready, they place it in these ready lockers, similar to what you see at Inspire Brand or food hub pickup spots. You enter a code or click a link and it releases the lock on the pickup to take your order. Very cool, very fun. The location has a few tables to eat at, but I get the feeling the location is not really intended to be an earin space and more of a "Order to go". However, lots of space and you could easily bring a crowd here if that's your thing. The food I ordered was actually a winner in my book. For this order, I ordered the Crawfish Cheesey Pasta or whatever, the second part of my order was their $10 for 10 wing deal. I want to start with the wings. I don't know if you guys have had much luck ordering wings lately but the cost at most locations for seasons wings has been attrocious. $10 for 10 is a phenominal deal in regard to wings at this moment. On top of that, the wings I got were average size, but well over the size of some of these locations selling wings for almost $2 a peice. There is a good bit of options for the wings, I got the plane and lemon peper hot and I was very happy with that decision. The bluecheese was a good pair with this. Awesome job for wings in my opinion. The Crawfish Pasta was pretty great too. A good portion of meat included. Obviously pre-picked crawfish, but I really can't complane since we're in Atlanta and not Louisiana. The pasta was aldenta and not overcooked, huge win on this. That means it wasn't really sitting in place for too long and made fresh. The pepper and onions in mine were nicely sauted and overall, the flavor of the cheese sauce and creol seasoning was good. This place is an incredible value for what you pay. The comments I see that are less than 2-3 stars are silly. Honestly, how have you not eaten wings and gotten a feather or root of one? What's it matter? It's a dead bird, you can only do so much. eat around it. Also, salt is good. :D Have fun Atlanta!

I ordered…read moreonline and got the Cajun lobster roll, lobster cream sauce, seafood eggroll, a lemonade, and a side of Cajun butter sauce. When I arrived for pickup, the atmosphere was cool and I really liked their locker system because it made grabbing my order quick and convenient. I didn't have to speak to anyone to get my order, so I didn't factor service into this review. Now with the food, unfortunately, everything | ordered was disappointing despite all of the positive reviews I had seen. The lobster roll and seafood eggroll were underwhelming in both flavor and overall impact, and the lobster cream sauce and Cajun butter sauce were extremely salty to the point where I couldn't finish them. The lemonade was very sweet, but I'm also not counting that in my rating since it's Minute Maid and that company tends to be inconsistent anyway. Before writing this review, I went back and read a few others and noticed someone else mentioned their food being too salty as well. I'm not sure if this is a common issue or just an off day, but for the price, I don't feel confident taking that risk again. Overall, I really wanted to enjoy this place, but based on my experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

Waiter was from Iowa, which he mentioned, and was great about walking us through everything. Personable, knew the menu cold. The thing everyone seems to order are the R.C.'s Char-Grilled Oysters, and they lived up to it. Came out warm, light breading on top, just a thin crispy crust - they basically melt when you eat them. Really well done. We also tried the Six Oyster Platter, which I'll be honest were not local, but still solid. No off smell, nothing sketchy - just clean and good. For the main, I went with the grouper, cooked with vegetables and presented well. Not the headline dish of the night but done right. The lobster salad on the side though - that was a standout, highly recommend getting it. Fair warning: this place has a serious menu and it is easy to run up the bill. But it is worth it. We were also visiting ATL and didn't have anywhere to take it back to or warm it up in the hotel. So overall it was a bit disappointing but some may really enjoy the place.
