My mom and I ordered off menu and they were able to accommodate us without issue; a chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce and pickles. My friend got a steak and cheese. The French fries were to die for. YUM! The place itself was a little dated, but in a fun way. Very clean, very comfortable. When we were leaving, they were setting up for karaoke. While not his favorite pizza, he enjoyed the differences - and there was a LOT of pizza! Two of the students went for Mac and cheese - a traditional taste but they said it was yummy. One opted for a chicken quesadilla and another for the Hot Mess. As the only two in our party over 21 (yeah, by quite a lot) we enjoyed a lovely red blend that went perfectly with the pizza and the beef. We will likely try it again on the next trip to campus!

The manager, Solstice, was dismissive from the beginning and failed to communicate important information, including a dining time limit because of the show. We waited over two hours and never received my chicken pasta, despite asking multiple employees and being told it would take another 45 minutes. I ultimately paid for the check and left without my meal. The food was equally disappointing: * Calamari: 0/10 -- cold, mostly tentacles, missing cherry peppers/garnish, and we were told portions were reduced for the "game day menu" while regular prices were still being charged. * Lemon pepper wings: 2/10 -- over an hour, hard, missing pieces and barely seasoned. Katie thankfully corrected them. * Sweet & spicy wings: 1/10 -- undercooked and lacked flavor. * French fries: 8/10 -- honestly one of the better things we had. * We were also given what appeared to be used tartar sauce, which was extremely concerning. The cocktails were another miss. The Shoot for the Stars and Mango Mami were both extremely thick/syrupy and served in plastic cups for $18. The Tropical Margarita was good the first time and terrible the second. The bathroom was filthy, and hearing an employee openly complain about how nasty the women's bathroom was while cleaning it did not help. Eagan was the saving grace--he was pleasant and tried to help--and Katie immediately corrected the wing issue. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to overcome the overall experience. Solstice eventually said he would refund my bill, but I still haven't received the refund. We specifically chose Estella because my sister loves lamb chops and I wanted her to try them for her birthday. I canceled another reservation to come here. After this experience, I would never return and cannot recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

We were in town for the R&B Tour at Gilette Stadium last night, 8/17. In early June (two months…read morebefore the concert), we reserved a table to have a pre-concert dinner at Estella. Upon arrival, there was a line out of the door of the restaurant. We informed one of the staff members walking by that we had a reservation. He told us that we'd need to wait in the line and let the hostess know. It look 13 minutes for us to make it to the front of the line. There were two hostesses assisting when we made it to the front of the line. We informed them that we had a reservation and were told that our reservation was canceled because they don't allow reservations on event nights. Full stop here because I received a text message and email from OpenTable the day before our reservation asking that we confirm our reservation- which we did. I told the hostesses that there must be some confusion and I showed them the OpenTable text and email confirmation. One of the hostesses then said to the other that she was looking at the wrong place on the screen and that my reservation had not been canceled. At that point, they offered us a table outside. On a warm August day- no thanks. We agreed to wait for a table inside to become available. It took approximately 10 minutes to be seated. Our waiter came to the table to let us know that we'd have 90 minutes to dine and that we should avoid ordering any steak, burgers, or any other red meat because the kitchen was backed up and it'd take over an hour for us to get our food. We ordered calamari, garlic parm chicken wings, and truffle fries. About 15 minutes later, the calamari arrived at our table- lukewarm, bland, rubbery, chewy, bare patches, and detached breading. We waited another 20 minutes before the fries arrived. Still no chicken wings. The waiter told us that he had addressed this multiple times with the kitchen staff and they had ignored him. Like the calamari, the truffle fries were lukewarm and bland. The tardy to the party garlic parm wings were the best thing we ate last night and I'd rate them a 6.5/10. However, the lackluster food isn't why I ended up calling the manger over. After eating, I stood in line for the women's restroom. Upon making my way to the front of the line and inside of the restroom, I observed women yelling out from the stalls that they needed toilet paper and toilet paper was indeed being passed from one stall to another. Women exiting the stalls were informing women next in line that there wasn't any toilet paper in 2 of the 4 stalls, and to just yell out and someone would pass toilet paper to you. I've never seen anything like it. I felt a sense of pride (given the restroom solidarity) and also annoyed (given the restaurant's lack of care for guests' basic needs and comfort). Adding insult to injury- the toilets are discolored, there were no paper towels to dry hands after washing, and there was a mountain of discarded items on the floor next to the overflowing trash. How disgusting. After existing the restroom, I called the manager over- he told me that they were aware and were "working on it." I beg your pardon, sir. Unless you're in the market for bland food, brown toilet bowls, and poor service (we waited over 20 minutes and asked three different members of the staff to bring our check after our waiter disappeared), please skip Estella. TLDR: Estella gives brown toilet bowl energy. Don't walk. RUN!

I was super disappointed to see the menu changed greatly since the last time I visited. No more "Baby Got Mac' or fun names of the food items. Dulled down menu. Let me tell you, That baby got mas was DELICIOUS!!! And I am super sad this specialty meal that I have found nowhere else is no longer a thing. I spoke to the waitress and we worked out making a replica with an order of mac and cheese. But it was delivered as a cheeseburger. She apologized and then the meal came out as mac and cheese but they forget the onion strings. I can share- this was massively lacking the flavor that the old Baby Got Mac had. I mean night and day! The steak like I said was tenders could be cooked exactly the way I like it you could cut it with a fork even though I had a steak knife. My partner had the veal Parmesan, which was a very large piece she can see from the pictures with he substituted Angel hair pasta for ziti. I think he should've stuck with a Z because Angel hair was just cooked too much. I was kind of soft like really soft like al dente. But the server was wonderful. She was very friendly. Was loaded with everything. Absolutely amazing sandwich. The bar was awesome. Murph made some good drinks. Ends up he knew my neighborhood growing up. Great conversation. Prices were very reasonable. Great staff great service. Very clean well established. Great hang out. Definitely give it a shot. Also they have a great craft beer selection.
