What a fun place! Great atmosphere and Rick is super nice! We had a fabulous time!!! Would go again!

They advertize a Char-Grilled hamburger, but what we got was griddled! There was NO Char Gilled marking or flavor on the burgers! I was Wholely disapointed in the flavor of this burger! I was puzzled by the fact that when I picked it up, about 1/4 cup of water came out of it as I turned it up to bite it! I think it was steamed! All the excess water then drained out wetting ALL my napkins. We had to ask the waiter several times to give up more napkins. THIS isn't a good thing! I get a better Char Grilled burger from Burger King! Calling it like I see it! Fries were limp and likda soggy! Meh! read more

First time visit, wandered in before 6pm. Seated at the bar inside were about 10 people. When we walked in every conversation stopped and every head spun around like we interrupted a club meeting or something. The daytime bartender, nearing the end of her shift, made sure her regulars were tended to before she traversed the dining room to acknowledge us (I won't say "greet" because it wasn't that). She showed little interest in us, and left our drinks empty while she poured and drank shots with her regulars at the bar, and then unceremoniously walked out at the end of her shift. The second shift bartender was the only redeeming (friendly) staff encounter we had, but even she couldn't make up for the food. Stale chips, and nachos that were assembled by someone with a major jalapeño fetish. The location in Propser not only looks better, the staff are much friendlier and attentive. The chicken sandwich on line was $13.00 but when I got there it was $16.00. And then the onion ring appetizer was $7.00 and I got 7 small onion rings. So with tax and 2.00 tip my total was $31.88. I won't be back. read more

New bar in Allen so had to make an appearance. When I go to a neighborhood bar for a day drink I want to be able to talk with the person that I'm with and not have to yell. That's for night life. The volume of the music was so annoyingly loud playing Taylor Swift-type music that it was all I could think of. Three stars, I suppose, for quick service. Menu looked like uppish scale bar food but I probably won't be back to taste it. Careful leaving anything less than 5 stars or the very professional management will trash you. read more

This place was not at all what I imagined it would be... and on a Friday night! A friend and I came in during Happy Hour and it was very dead. The bartender was very nice who served us and the happy hour drink specials were good. We were starving when we arrived, but found that the menu was very limited. The bartender responded saying "it's bar food". I settled on the Mac and cheese and added bacon. Boy!... Did I feel gypped! I have never had such bland tasing Mac and cheese! I did not feel like making "a thing" of it at the time, and I was starving, so I just ate the noodles along with the few strips of bacon so I could get some flavor with each bite. Definitely not worth what I spent on it. I honestly do not know that I'd ever come back.. I certainly won't be getting the Mac and cheese.. totally underwhelmed by this place. read more

Great location and amazing setup bar is easy to get to amazing service!!! Prices are true for the quality!!! Very welcoming and accommodating as it is seat your self!!! Plenty of choices with lots of television options for game time and off time!!! Plenty of drink specials and menu options delicious full size pizzas and and much much more!!! Great seating arrangement with comfortable booths and bar stools with middle holds so your feet aren't dangling!! I like the bar, food, and they have a sliding garage door that opens the bar to the outside.

Shakertins has a great space and atmosphere with lots of TVs, pretty excited they had every single football game going. The food was decent and they have great deals on drinks, not a bad consideration for your local go to bar! The only reason I brought down some starts is because they don't have much social distancing and the staff was not wearing mask when we were there. Easy to improve and hope they can adjust. read more

Decided to step out for a few last night and went to this place. I had seen it before when I go to the Whole Foods across the street so i thought I'd check it out. Place had a really nice atmosphere and my server Luna made sure my cup was always full. After a few i decided to get a quick bite. Came on Fat Tuesday, first time. The smell was overwhelming upon entering. Chemical bathroom smell. Tried overlooking it. Sat at the bar, only a few other ppl in the restaurant. Bartender made us drinks and took our food order. Very small menu, pizza, chicken wings and a couple of sandwiches. Hub had the lemon pepper wings. Said they were super dry, overcooked. I got the steak cheesesteak. It was okay..better then expected. Nothing I'd come back for. The bartender went on break and ate her dinner in the bar area. Other servers were playing around...completely unprofessional. It was a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Based on our experience, this place will not last. read more

My wife and I came here on a Tuesday for Happy Hour (HH). The menu was different than what was displayed online, which is why I took a star away. Happy Hour online said there would be $2 tacos and $2 domestic beers on Tuesdays. But the actual menu shared that HH is just 15% everything - food and drink. For us, that meant about a $10 savings on the tab. I'm still torn on whether I like this concept. I think this is a second location and that is why the menu is a bit different than what I saw online. But even then, it's easy to add a second menu or a "choose your location" option on the website. The old fashions are hand made and not a premix like a lot of places are going towards these days, so that was great to see. My wife ordered their cucumber vodka drink and liked it. We ordered the Dippin Duo which was spinach artichoke dip and a cup of queso served with tortilla chips on a cutting board. Honestly, the cutting board was clunky and just led to there not being a whole lot of chips. Two cups for the dips and one bowl of chips would have been a better setup. We also got an order of Tots & Strings which were tater tots and string french fries tossed in Parmesan and truffle oil. Honestly, they were very, very good! The place is an open space with a lot of TVs so no matter what game you're trying to catch you should be able to watch it here. I'm a big fan of being able to sit at the bar top from outside when there's nice weather and this place has that. Lastly, the service was very good. We were greeted right away and given a menu. At one point, the music got turned up pretty loud, but I would not go so far as to say it turned us away from ordering another round of drinks. read more

Came here last night to relax and have a drink with a friend. Environment was great. We got there around 9:45pm and it was nice and chill. Music was set just right. I was able to have a convo and hear my bartender the whole night. Ordered the margarita pizza and a few drinks. All of it was really good. Had a crazy incident though, a gentlemen with a prosthetic leg got a little tipsy and struggled getting to his Uber. The staff at Shakertins literally carried this guy out to the Uber and made sure he got in and to his destination. I enjoyed my experience there and will try to frequent more often. read more

We came here for an afternoon cocktail. We tried the berry mule and the onion rings. I tried to order a couple of beers(in a can) off the menu and they were all out. The berry mule had a butter after taste and the onion rings were sub par. All in all I'd probably go somewhere else next time. read more

I have only been to the other location and wouldn't go near any other Shakertins after the experience I had there. A Sunday bartender was beyond rude, yelling and screaming at me over nothing. I called her out on her BS attitude and, wait for it, she actually called the cops on me! The irony was that the drinks weren't for me, I was the designated driver...but of course she didn't know this and was basically using the cops as her muscle, trying to get me thrown in jail. Had I actually been drinking I don't doubt this would have gone down the way she intended. How often do they do this? Cops are usually a concern outside a bar, not inside. What kind of podunk place is this? If you read the reviews on the other location you will get a better idea of how these people run their business, stealing and scamming...the whole kit and caboodle. read more

One mistake doesnt define a business as long as its acknowledged and addressed. So I appreciate YOUR care with new comers such as myself and regulars that do give your establishment its trust through these times. So, I'm not one to leave reviews but in this situation I feel its neccessary. A group of us went out for my husbands birthday and quite enjoyed ourselves along with the service which was prompt and friendly. Obviously a well known spot to many this being my first time and coming from a restaurant family background I was happy with my experience with there team while there. My issue lies in the following day I noticed our card had been grossly over charged. 4 shots totalled almost $70. When I called to have the ticket sorted I was told my card was under a tab and party that I had no knowledge and belittled as if I didnt know the people in my party. After being told she couldn't talk to me further because the card was in my husbands name I was shocked at the push back. When my husband called he was told they had cameras and videos of us and proceeded to wrongly tell me what I was wearing and who we were with obviously they thought we were a different group. Insisting we were someone else. She rerang our tab for four shots and I'm only assuming added gratuity saying because we had more than 6 people in our party, because the total still came to $55 for 4 shots. Still doesnt seem right to be saying it's the best she could do and a new receipt copy was never sent. Through the experience with this manager alone I won't be back. A few others from our party had checks that werent correct as well but didnt want the hassel. The rudnest along with the wrong assumptions is baffling to me on a simple check error I had complete understanding of before the conversation. read more

I do not recommend this bar unless you want your money stolen from the bartenders. I got a charge $241.62 for no reason the next day I called multiple times for my refund and no answer. My friends and I have come to this location (Allen) a few times and each time the waitresses have been less than stellar but this past Friday was the worst ever. We ordered food and couldn't get anything once our food was just dropped at our table. The waitress with short black hair with red in the front "waited on us" she did not greet us, she never smiled and she seemed to be more bothered than anything. Our drinks were empty for a long time and she never asked to take our order again. We ended up going to the bar after a girl with really blonde hair walked past us and saw we needed napkins and silverware. She brought it over without us asking then got us the other basic needs like ketchup. We decided going forward it would be easier to sit wherever we want and just order from the bar as the waitress doesn't seem to want to take tables. I was there Saturday night and had 3 maybe 4 vodka cranberries. I did forget to close my tab but I know they add a 20% tip. Next day, I see my card has been charged $117. I've called everyday just to be told there's no manager present or I am sent to voicemail. I've come to this bar multiple times with no issue but it's crazy that they don't think this is an urgent matter. read more

Super disappointed with the lack of service here. My husband and I have given them two chances and both times we sat for 10-15+ minutes without being acknowledged by the staff. We finally would get fed up enough to leave. While they didn't appear to be busy we would have waited if someone would have at least let us know they'd be with us at some point. read more

I was so excited to try this place.. Laidback & fun environment, however the staff working during our visit was very unprofessional and I was terrified by how careless they were about the cleanliness of the place and while handling customers food/drinks :/ I watched two employees play a game of pool and interact with customers and walk straight to the bar to make customers drinks, touching the straws and limes with their fingers without washing their hands, sanitizing, or wearing gloves. This may not bother some people but I don't want my server shaking hands and giving high fives to random customers and then touching the straw that goes into my mouth. Lmao read more

Might be great as a weekend bar, but dinner tonight was sad. The double burger was about the size of a McDonald's hamburger. Only sides were either shoe string potatoes or tots. They made me a side salad that wasn't on the menu which was very nice of them. Very small beer menu on tap. The server was great, but, we were her only table at 630 pm on a Tuesday.
