    Root Beer float

The Shack burger was decent and had good beefy taste.Clean, friendly and open interior. Was disappointed they were out of the Fanta Orange for a float and had to settle for a Root Beer one(Sprecher at least). The Black Truffle fries were a nice change, but we're a little cold and shouldn't have been. The one reason I am maybe still recommending them is the burger was good, but too many missteps to give a better review .

Ordered in the app so it would be ready when we arrived. My husband and I each got a shack burger and we split an order of truffle fries and rootbeer shake. We originally ordered the Dreamcicle shake but when we went to pick up our order we were told they didn't have the orange so we got the rootbeer instead. A little disappointing but not a deal breaker. While my husband really liked his burger, I wasn't as impressed, it wasn't the worst but definitely not the best burger I have ever had. The fries had parmesan cheese on them and the truffle sauce was on the side. The sauce was unique and flavorful but in the end I am a ketchup girl. Rootbeer float was delicious. The restaurant was clean and bright and an overall nice atmosphere.

The food here has been pretty good both times we've gone. Much better than other fast food options in the area. A little expensive for me so it's only a sometimes treat.

I'm always up for the new restaurant of the week so I thought that I would try a cheeseburger and cheese frys from the drive through. The drive through took 10 minutes for fast food around lunchtime on a Sunday with no cars in front of me. The building is cool looking and upscale looking for a fast food burger restaurant. I ordered the single shack burger which is cheese, sauce, lettuce and tomatoes with a cheese fry that was $13, $13 with no drink was the most I have paid for a single burger and frys from a fast food burger restaurant. My first thought after opening the box was I paid $13 for this tiny wimpy thin cheeseburger that looked like a value menu burger size from the big 3 chains. The beef patty was thin and small I thought. Taste wise it's ok but nothing amazing. The cheese frys were average crinkle cut with pumped cheese on top and my first thoughts was it reminded of like county fairs cheese frys. My overall impression of Shakeshack was the only thing that was amazing was the price for the size and how average the food was compared to other fast food burger chains so I can't ever imagine returning. If your going to be the most expensive burger chain than you should a pretty amazingly burger to justify it.

So happy to see another Wisconsin location for Shake Shack. This Shake Shack is located in a busy area, kitty corner from The Corners. It has been open for 3 months and still busy as ever. Expect to wait for drive through, pick up, and dine in. I love their shackburger. It's small and if you're hungry, I would recommend a double for all their burgers. You have to get a side of cheese fries (generously cheesy) and a seasonal shake. Expect to pay almost double of your typical fast food chain. Their speciality burgers are hit or miss and I normally stick with the main menu burgers. The smoke shack if you want a vinegary kick. Shroom burger if you're feeling meatless. If you aren't feeling a sandwich the chicken bites are well seasoned. Shake shack hits the spot for me. Worth checking out if you haven't been but be prepared to pay a higher price.

Ugh! Second time here and the first experience was awful and this one was the Worst! Once again, driving in and wanted to pick up food before going to the hotel nearby. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it looked lovely. I took one bite and a very long string of hair was in my mouth. The hair was fried into the chicken and as I pulled the hair out of my mouth, it came out with a chunk of the chicken attached. Disgusting. I should have never gone back, especially since I was starving. I settled on a bag of free peanuts from the hotel. Y'all Suck! I tried calling but I wasn't able to get through, and I didn't leave a VM.

The service here is really good. Nice staff. I ordered a pickup and it was ready when I got there. No hassles. The food was meh. The fries weren't that good at all. I think I prefer even Wendy's over these fries. Definitely Arby's. The shake and burger were good, but not really outstanding. I'd come back for the ambiance though. Really nice outdoor seating, and lots of it, with umbrellas and all that.

The float came in a glass mug and looked amazing -- and it tasted excellent. To me, the Black Cow looked a bit watery (overmixed), but he enjoyed it. It was rainy, and we got the only picnic table that was covered. There were plenty of other picnic tables on the grassy areas across the parking lot. Don't know much about the food, but would definitely come back for the root beer float.

It was great to see it was a hot dog place instead of a burger joint; I ordered a hot dog with ketchup and relish and a side of onion rings, but no beverage as I had one in the car. Anyway, the hot dog was ok, but the meat itself was kind of soft and spongy, not to my liking. The onion rings, described to me by the order taker as fantastic, were, in reality, disgusting. They tasted like old, rancid oil and consisted mostly of a thick batter with the thinnest actual onion slice. I ate two small rings and tossed the rest. Just gross. I really wish I could have had an excellent dog and rings, because when I indulge in a fast food meal, that's what I love, and few places offer hot dogs anymore.

We would have liked to try a couple of the appetizers, but then we would have risked filling up and not having enough room for the entrées. We decided on the Great Greek Gyro and the Combo Souvlaki Plate with lamb and tenderloin. We also ordered the Feta Fries. After a short wait, the food was delivered to our table. Everything was well presented, and the hot items were served at a good temperature. The Feta Fries were well seasoned, crispy, and topped with a generous amount of cheese. I think there may have been mozzarella along with the feta. Super yummy. The salad that came with the Souvlaki Plate was fresh and had a plentiful assortment of vegetables. The meats were well seasoned and served in nice-sized portions. The tenderloin was medium rare, just as I requested, although some of the lamb pieces were slightly overcooked, but still tasty. The gyro my wife ordered was a very large portion, with tender and flavorful meat. The additional vegetables and tzatziki sauce were both generously portioned as well. There were plenty of leftovers to take home. Service: There were several people helping behind the counter: a couple of young ladies taking orders and running food, along with another person, possibly the manager or owner, assisting with additional questions. They were super helpful with my Souvlaki Plate order and suggested trying the combo option. They also offered us a complimentary sample of one of their new refreshers. The cucumber mint flavor was delicious. Atmosphere: It's located in a small strip mall, but the interior is nicely laid out. There are lots of large windows bringing in natural light. The smaller tables can easily be pushed together for larger groups, and there are also umbrella tables outside in front. The noise level was comfortable and allowed for easy conversation. A good spot if you are looking for tasty Greek food.

It was hard to choose what to have, as so many items on the menu sounded great, but I selected the spanakopita plate with the lemon sauced potatoes. Everything was just delicious; the phyllo was crispy and light, and the spinach and feta filling was the perfect density, and a side of their heavenly tzatziki sauce complemented it perfectly. The potatoes were firm yet tender, and absorbed the lemon and oregano sauce and made for a perfect side dish. My husband was astounded at the generous portion of gyro meat on his pita, and said it was incredibly flavorful and the accompanying marinated red onions and tomatoes enhanced the meat well. He, too, praised the thick, creamy tzatziki sauce, but he ended up taking at least a third of his gyro home to enjoy tomorrow.
