Fun Facts: Shake Shack started in Madison Square Park in Manhattan as a hotdog cart. To support the…read morefirst art installation for Madison Square Park Conservancy. And for 3 summers in a row, they had customers lined up. There are 9 Shake Shacks in Maryland. Shake Shack Inner Harbor is located on the corner of Commerce St. and E Pratt St. I've walked past this a few times before. I stopped by on a weeknight while in the area to get some food to take home, around 940pm on a Friday night. It was super busy, and a lot of people were in the restaurant dining in. There are a few kiosk touch screens on the counter where you can order your food. You pick a number to attach to your order and that's what they call out when your food is ready. There are a lot of tables inside the restaurant to sit and dine at or to wait for take-out orders. It's been a while since I've been to a Shake Shack. The last time had to have been 1am in Las Vegas by the NYNY hotel (side note, that location is open until the early morning hours if you ever need food late). As I was glancing at the menu the limited time only," The Big Shack" burger definitely caught my eye. It looked as perfect as a burger should be! Described as "Two 1/4lb Angus Beef patties, secret sauce, green leaf lettuce, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on a three-layer toasted potato bun Potato Bun." Yep, definitely had to get that. And this burger tasted as good as it looks! Bacon Cheese Fries, "crispy, crinkle cut fries topped with melted cheddar and American cheese and applewood-smoked bacon". Yums, yes please! The fries were very crispy. I also saw that they have a limited time only, Popping Boba for an upcharge, I definitely wanted to try that. I got the "Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade: Pomegranate, basil, and lemongrass mixed with our Shack-made lemonade" with the "Mini Raspberry Popping Boba". I got the Frozen Custard with double scoop, 1 in Vanilla and 1 in Chocolate. The frozen custard is made in house every day with milk and eggs. It's very rich and sweet. I preferred the chocolate flavor over the vanilla as the egg flavor was hidden within better and not as standout. It didn't take too long until my food was ready. I did a quick check over all the items to make sure they didn't miss anything (highly recommended to check your orders anywhere, any time, and for any item LOL). After drinking some of my drink, I realized the Mini Raspberry Popping Boba I had paid extra for were not in sight. I went back to the counter and asked about this. A supervising worker asked another employee to make me a new drink with the Popping Boba. And told me to throw my current drink out. I appreciated how fast the problem was fixed. It wasn't a big deal at all and because of how busy the restaurant was, I can see mistakes happening. One con is that all the items at Shake Shack are ordered ala carte, since they don't have combo meals. Sooo, it can get very expensive, even for just 1 person.

Pretty chill spot inside, but the…read morechicken (garlic parm seasoned, for reference) was some strange creation with more salt than the fries leading to the chicken leaving so much dry and wet residue on my fingers that I had to opt for using a fork to hold it because only washing my hands could get it off. Wiping them with a napkin tore the napkin before getting that stuff off my hands. And that's shocking, I absolutely LOVE garlic parm, it's one of my favorite seasonings on anything full stop. You can also tell they use peanut oil because it's SO greasy despite how dry the seasoning was. The fries were pretty good although the seasoning on them was a bit inconsistent. I'd rather just go to chick fil a to get two chicken sandwiches there. I can see why people might like it, but absolutely not for me and get one of the sauces that comes in a cup instead of on the chicken (basically anything but the spicy or garlic parm).

Ordering was easy, even on the self-ordering kiosk and the wrap was prepared in a timely manner. The wrapped traveled well, as I got it to go. It was reasonably priced, too. Above all, the wrapped was delicious! It had a great balance of lettuce and chicken and the dressing was delicious. I personally do not think I would eat in the restaurant, however it was clean and had tons of tables.

I was hoping to park on the street to run in but ended up driving around for 10+ minutes before ending up in the lot. Turns out my parking was free so it worked out just fine. For the food, I got the cheese pizza with prosciutto and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was fantastic, and I really liked that you can order a half portion which was great for 2 people. The crust was crispy, and the cheese and sauce were great, and it was packed with prosciutto. The wings were also great, I loved the sauce and the sesame seeds on some of them which was a fun twist.

Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. It could be a bad day but definitely not good since I havent been here in about 3 plus years. The prices has increased tremendously as well. I wouldnt say not to go but based on today, I would be skeptical to return again for myself in the future.
