I am writing this with a belly full of curry, rice, naan and samosa. Shahi came to the rescue tonight where nobody could be bothered to walk to the supermarket, and the food in the house was either gone off or just simply didn't exist in sufficient quantity.
Efficient telephone ordering from their online menu and an accurate prediction of how long the food would take to cook before we zoomed around for a pickup meant I was already happy with the experience before I could smell it. Fortunately the aroma wafting through the door was satisfying, the food looked great, and tasted fantastic. The lamb in my Akbari Gosht was tender and the sauce was thick and creamy and nuttier than Sherman Klump.
I have to say I am not a fan of their Papadum's, but considering they were thrown in for free I am not in a position to complain! read more
