It's simply of the best fish and chip shops in Auckland - the fish and chips are quite dry and not the greasy shit you get in some takeaways. I always go for the snapper and the fish is good quality as is the batter. I often think the secret of good fish and chips is the batter and they get it bang on in this place. They also sell takeaway shellfish and you can get a little pot of fresh mussels to go with your fish and chips. I think the fish in chips in New Zealand is far better than you get in the UK and this is one of the best places to find it.

I cannot tell you how fantastic the Lamb Burger was--the meat was so tender, the burger literally melted in my mouth. I'm not much of a beetroot eater (and I'm told this is a common topping in Australian and New Zealand burgers), but it was different in a good way. The bun was also really good, so no complains about the burger at all. We also got the Potato Skins with Truffle Aioli--amaaazing!
