Brittney Bakes is a small, quiet gem of a roadside stop. As soon as you walk through the door,…read moreyou're greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods and some of the warmest smiles around. Sweet or savory, she's got you covered. Since the day we first walked in to now being regulars, Brittney has been nothing short of amazing! Her service is always top notch and she always makes you feel welcome. We always love a guest appearance by her partner, Chad! I'm definitely more of a savory guy, so my favorites are the Parmesan focaccia bread and the green chili biscuits. My wife talks about the caramel brownies on a daily basis and has an everlasting love for the brown butter cookies. It's safe to say that making the drive from Salem to Garibaldi 2-3 times a month for these treats is MORE than worth it. It's not often you find a place this good that feels so personal. We love stopping in and always look forward to seeing what she's got baking. Keep doing what yer' doin!!

First of all, I have to say that as much as I would love to give it a 5 star review, I can't…read more This bakery is in a very small town, which adds to its charm. It is located in a very small space, and if you blink, you'll miss it. This store is only open 4 days a week, which is Thursday through Sunday. We didn't like that because we were in on a Tuesday. When we arrived a little after opening, it appeared the woman working was unable to get out all of her pastries because she got busy. She did not have any cakes readily available for a birthday party. We were hoping, however, she did have cupcakes. So we purchased Cupcakes, but because they were not made. We had to come back an hour later for them. I will say that she makes these breads that are outstanding. We purchased a rosemary bread or loaf, and when I tell you it was the softest, most wonderful loaf of bread I have ever ordered, that i would go back JUST for that! She makes these delicious scones! She makes savory scones too! Delicious! I'd like to give her a 4 star rating, however, I would give her 5 stars for the breads alone. I was also disappointed that she didnt have anyone helping her and she was clearly getting busy. Im torn here. I give her a 3.5 rating but for Yelps sake it has to be a 3 or a 4. So it looks like a 3 until I can get a different experience. Sorry. I wanted it to be a 5 star, for me, some changes are needed. Good luck!
