Few things are more delightful than sitting in a warm bakery with a cup of coffee surrounded by the vibrant personality of a coastal town. On several mornings of our trip, my family walked to the Beach Bakeshop for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls, cheddar and bacon biscones, almond bear paw, and marionberry scone, were all incredible. In comparing this to other coffee options I've tried around the area, this shop has the best quality grounds so far. Hope to return!

Five stars for unique selection and so many options of sand dollar pies which is by far a family favorite. 4 stars is because the drinks were meh. Come here for pastries and pick up your drinks somewhere else for a perfect seaside experience. There are a few stools inside and two small tables outside. We ordered apple, marionberry and raspberry sand dollar pies. The berries were perfect tartness with the flaky pie crust. Imagine a mini hand pie in homemade perfection form. Yes please. They have sweet and savory options. We will be back! Chai was Oregon Chai which is the most uninventive and flavorless chai in my opinion. There's so many other shops that have a spicier yummier chai.

Got to try this cute bakery during our trip to Rockaway Beach and were really pleased with everything we tried. I got there right when they opened and they were still bringing out freshly baked goods like the cinnamon roll and hand pies. Smelled absolutely amazing! I got the blueberry buttermilk biscone (fav!), carrot cake, and raspberry hand pie. The "biscone" was a beautiful marriage of biscuit and scone, with a slightly caramelized, crisp exterior and a soft, buttery interior. I just wish there were more blueberries because we only had two in the whole thing. Otherwise, one of the best scone/biscuits I've ever had. The carrot cake was also delicious and full of ingredients. I'd recommend letting it sit at room temperature for a bit before enjoying with some coffee or tea. Really enjoyed the flaky pastry of the hand pie, but the raspberry filling was a bit overwhelming for us. I personally would have liked a little less. They have several savory options as well (refer to pics), both pastries and sandwiches. I never got to any of them but from previous reviews those seem popular too. Definitely recommend this bakery!

Did a google search for "coffeeshop near me"and this place popped up. Was happy to see that they had non-dairy milk options but, unfortunately no chai. I went for a latte with soy milk and found it pretty milky but maybe that's because my go-to drink is a dirty chai. Was super happy to see that they had some gluten-free vegan bakery options - - peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, please. Delicious!! I hear the marionberry scone was pretty yummy too. No designated parking but able to find a spot in the public lot across the street.

This spot is an absolute MUST if you're in the area looking for a good breakfast spot. Not only are the employees extremely helpful and sweet, but the baked goods, both savory and sweet, are incredible. We had the blueberry scone and breakfast hand pies. I still think about them. So so good and everything was freshly baked. It does get busy so be sure to order to go and head across the street to enjoy your treats on the benches against the shore. Tasty food and a view, how can you beat that?

I ordered a bunch of pies and pastries to try. I have: ham & sausage pies - warm, delicious with generous fillings Bear claw, lemon & cream cheese danishes, mixed berries and chocolate sand dollars, and marionberry scone - all very yummy When I walked in, there was only a pair of customers. Soon after, there was a long time after me. So it got busy real fast. The overall service and atmosphere were alright. Everyone seemed to be friendly except one. When I asked her what the pastry she was holding as label on the shelf was not visible, she gave me a look I didn't quite like. Fortunately, she was not helping me to get my order. Otherwise, I would have walked out in an instant.

The order process is wicked fast and efficient, it's paying for it that takes longer. Sausage hand pie - loved it, especially the flakey crust Veggie frittata - one of their specialities, liked, but did not love it Bread Pudding - perfect size, a little bliss Carrot Cake - a cut above, yummy frosting Very friendly service and easy parking at 9:30 a.m. on a Friday.

Mix berry scone- light on inside, full of fruit and nice outer crunch

Got two savory pies and a muffin. Delicious but very expensive for the portion. Paid 20 dollars just for these 3 which was a snack size.

Tasty! A great selection if you get there early enough! They sell out quick. We liked the scones and sand dollars! We will be going back.

On a very busy Saturday morning, we got a decent latte and excellent service. Pastries looked yummy, but we didn't get any! Next time!

Yelp says they deliver, is that true?

Within reason, yes. A danish to Nedonna? No. 3 lunchboxes to the high school? Sure.

Visiting from San Diego, California. Love trying new small business coffee shops everywhere I go…read more Not sure if you can walk up assuming maybe you can but I did drive thru both times. Yes it was so good I went two days in a row. Both baristas were very friendly. I told the one helping me I like a sweeter drink not super strong. I told her to surprise me and she made me an iced vanilla chai white chocolate latte with cream top and it was so good! I went back again today and asked her to make the same thing again. Very friendly and reasonable priced. Beach is right across the way. Grab your coffee and go across to enjoy it with the view.

I wish I would have read more reviews…read more The coffee cake was alright, the scone was alright. But the coffee drinks here suck, which is their main thing. The coffee tastes cheap and their syrups aren't very good. The main takeaway besides forgettable food/drink is that the staff is RUDE. The main window girl openly complains about customers and is very impatient and just seems to have a bad attitude. Perhaps she doesn't realize everyone can hear her? The lady who owns it was grumpy as well, so that I guess has set the precedent for everyone she hires. I'd recommend driving down to Tillamook and getting ingredients or baked goods at Fred Meyer as opposed to the convenience of this place. Plus, they have a Starbucks that will serve you something better than Folgers. If you don't like people, you should seriously reconsider living in a resort town. I'd rather have watched my $20 burn than wasted it here.

I'll admit, I was a little nervous coming in after reading some of the lower-rated reviews. A few…read moreof them were pretty harsh. Of course, every restaurant can have a bad night, but after reading them, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Our experience was anything but disappointing. We started with the steamed oysters, and as someone who has played oyster roulette and lost one too many times, I was thrilled to see fresh steamed oysters on the menu. They were delicious, perfectly prepared, and honestly had already altered my mood before the rest of the meal even arrived. And then there was the view. Spectacular. I kept looking around thinking what a privilege it was to sit down to dinner somewhere so genuinely beautiful. We ordered a cup of clam chowder to split because we'd heard it heralded as some of the best, and it absolutely lived up to the praise. Buttery, flavorful, not too thick and not too thin. Just really, really good chowder. For dinner, I had the ribeye topped with crab meat, and my date had the wild salmon. Both came with the most incredible creamy mashed potatoes and a salad. Even the salad service impressed me: chilled plates AND chilled forks. Such a small, thoughtful detail, but it immediately told me how much care goes into the dining experience here. My steak was phenomenal. The fat was rendered beautifully, the steak itself was cooked perfectly, and the crab on top made it feel completely indulgent. The salmon was equally delicious. Not a bite survived. We absolutely did not need dessert. And then our waitress brought out a massive tray of house-made desserts. Cheesecakes. Tortes. Crème brûlées. An entire parade of poor decision-making staring us directly in the face. So naturally, we took two desserts to go. We knew we'd regret it if we didn't. I also have to mention the service. Our waitress was absolutely incredible and, along with just one other server, was holding down the entire dining room. Despite how busy they were, the service was warm, attentive, friendly, and never felt rushed. A fabulous meal, genuinely wonderful service, thoughtful little touches throughout, and a view that is very hard to beat. Whatever experience led to some of those harsher reviews, it certainly wasn't the experience we had tonight. This wasn't just dinner. It felt special. We will absolutely be back.
