The prices are very reasonable, and the level of service is outstanding. One of the conveniences we really appreciated was having firewood delivered directly to our campsite--it made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners are truly amazing. Their dedication to providing a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming campground really shows. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a great experience. We highly recommend Woodmore Campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping trip. We can't wait to come back!

There was a comment made during adult bingo, and someone said "lynch him lynch him" naturally as someone part of the bipoc community, I IMMEDIATELY felt uncomfortable. In addition, someone stated, "come as you are" & multiple other people said "this is a family campground." Yet, then proceeded to talk about...upside down pineapples, (look up the meaning) and other things. Again, this was an adult bingo, and I don't mind raunchy, but those were very discriminatory statements made. In addition, the "seasonal" campers, or possible group campers made us feel VERY uncomfortable at the pool.

Outdoor dining at the Chocksett Inn !!!!…read more We enjoy the food at the Chocksett Inn and they recently added outdoor dining on their new deck !!! Since the summer goes by so quickly in New England, we were thrilled to be able to sit outside and enjoy dinner. I love the Salmon, always cooked to perfection. Their bread is always delicious and hot out of the oven. The dinner entrees include soup or salad, which is becoming a rarity in restaurants. The waitstaff is attentive and the restaurant is not usually crowded. Best kept secret around !!!

The bathroom had no racks for drying towels. The coffee that was available in the morning in the lobby cost $2. When the clerk appeared several minutes later she apologized but it was clear that the good service we had come to expect was gone.

Beginner review: If you're new to skiing, I'd highly…read morerecommend the beginners package (~$150) which honestly was totally worth the price tag. It included an excellent lesson (shout out to my instructor Jason), decent rentals (notably the boots were nice and warm), and access to 2 easy slopes and a lift with 2 green slopes for practice. Once you scan the lift ticket, it's active for 4 hours which is plenty of time to get some skiing in. If you're new to this and want to get good, plan on taking more than one lesson. Not sure if it helps but I'll share my progression over one full day of skiing: It'd been 20 years since I skied, so I joined the morning lesson with the first timers and could ski down the bunny slopes comfortably by the end. I took another lesson the same day and was skiing down the green trails without any issues, although not the most efficiently (skis mostly but not always parallel). The facilities were clean and with everything you might need, hot food, drinks, a store, bonfires, wifi, a decent amount of locker space, and a very large area for rentals. It felt very safe, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. Parking wasn't an issue either. Overall, I enjoyed the lessons and my experience skiing at Wachusett, and I'd definitely go again!

I got paired with some other people who hadn't snowboarding in 20 to 25 years. It was nice to have a small group and a refresher before hitting the slopes. By the end of the day, my kids were having such a great time and it was their very first time snowboarding. The mountain was safe, the staff was friendly and accommodating for our first time. The food inside is a little pricey, but well worth it when you're cold and hungry. There's a nice fire outside to thaw out and dry out your gloves and any gear that gets wet. It's a fun, friendly family feel. People leave their gear and bring picnics, I felt safe there.

Going in today all I got was a cheese quesadilla and was thoroughly disappointed. I was served a sandwich wrap with cheddar cheese pooled at the center of it. Being such a simple food and on the menu I figured they would have had the correct ingredients to make this but unfortunately that was not the case.

After paying $91 dollars we were less than impressed. The event was supposed to run from 3:30 to 5PM but only really lasted about 30 minutes and we did not get any Apple and Honey since waiting around with a 2 year old is difficult. A woman Hannah was our guide and was awful. There was no introduction as to what the agenda would be and what we would see and she made no attempt at keeping people together so everyone just roamed around. We saw some bees in a hive, a garden which some bees active around flowers and she showed some caterpillars and that was about it. Big waste of time and money and will never attend an Audobon sponsored event again based on how poorly put together!!!! Lastly the bathrooms are horrible and look like they date back to the 70's and have never been updated. In the men's room the urinal looks like it has been out of order for years. I am updating my review to note that I reached out to Drumlin Farms and Audobon to make them aware of my review. I was actually surprised to receive a reply back that they would check into and that was it with no further explanation. Just confirms my overall experience that Drumlin Farms puts on events as part of Audobon which are crap and charges people outrageous amounts in my opinion and no accountability.

The hotel is in dire need of refurbishing & cleaning. The rooms are not only small in square feet, but have 7' ceilings, making the sleeping experience similar to what I think sleeping in a coffin would be like. The hallways in the common areas are disgraceful & ratty--I really cannot use another word to describe the carpeting. Poorly lit & terribly confusing layout. Several of us got lost (twice) trying to find the rooms. The bathroom was miniscule--had no fan & a heavily peeling tub. The A/C unit was old & sounded like a jet engine was passing through the room. Parking lot signage was absurd. An arrow pointing LEFT sent you to a laundry room. There was no way to get to the Front Desk except walking around the entire Inn. Allowing pets should have been my first clue--& a barking dog was right next to my room with paper thin walls. I paid almost $300 for the honor of staying in this 1776 Inn. Go elsewhere.
