We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Woodmore Campground! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The prices are very reasonable, and the level of service is outstanding. One of the conveniences we really appreciated was having firewood delivered directly to our campsite--it made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners are truly amazing. Their dedication to providing a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming campground really shows. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a great experience. Recently stayed here. The campground activities were fun. Loved the bathroom next to the pavilion and pool. (It was newer) the other ones were the older type of bathrooms, but were fine. The showers are coin operated. You get 5 minutes for .50, so not too bad. There is a Walmart, gas station, grocery store, and liquor store within 10 minutes from the campground. The woman at the front was very nice....however, the...from what I could tell "seasonals" were a different story. Yes, some were nice and friendly. However... There was a comment made during adult bingo, and someone said "lynch him lynch him" naturally as someone part of the bipoc community, I IMMEDIATELY felt uncomfortable. In addition, someone stated, "come as you are" & multiple other people said "this is a family campground." Yet, then proceeded to talk about...upside down pineapples, (look up the meaning) and other things. Again, this was an adult bingo, and I don't mind raunchy, but those were very discriminatory statements made. In addition, the "seasonal" campers, or possible group campers made us feel VERY uncomfortable at the pool. read more

I love everything about this campground. The owners and staff are wonderful. We book a premium site and it is roomy and has plenty of privacy. We come twice a year and find the other campers to be respectful and responsible. It is very quiet at night. read more

My family has taken to camping this season, and we recently spent 3 nights at Woodmore. We were in a tent site with two adults, two kids and a dog. We enjoyed the campground and our shady, wooded site very much. The sunsets, canoeing, pool, kids stuff, and overall vibe were all great for us. Due to my husband and I contracting Covid we had to cancel our visit to Woodmore CG. We contacted them on Wednesday, prior to our Thursday arrival asking them for a refund or to reschedule. On Friday we received an email from them stating: This is (name removed to protect employe) from Woodmore Campground, I did talk to my manager, and we unfortunately are not able to reschedule your stay. We do hope you are still feeling ok. We stayed home and quarantined to protect other campers. This respect was not reciprocated by the campground. read more

Stayed a weekend as it was closer to home (within an hour) and was a half way point to spend time with family who joined us camping. We stayed in sites 66/65. The sights were of good size for our tent and their pop up. Close enough to the park and pool as well. I really enjoyed having the camp wood delivered so I didn't have to put wood in my car! Such a brilliant idea! The camp ground was very family oriented and was quiet by 8/9pm. I enjoyed being able to have a fire whenever I'd like and not have to have a "put out" time. The candy bingo was fun but started later than it was suppose to due to "not being ready" but overall the weekend was great. For a packed campground the pool was not busy. The bathrooms were always clean! We plan on going again next summer for a longer weekend trip. read more

Booked at Woodmore because it was close to an event we were attending. Office staff was very pleasant and helpful upon check in. The campground itself is VERY cramped. It's laid out oddly with the dump station right in the middle of the campground near the pavilion, pool, and laundry. The sites are tight and almost on top of each other. Some we saw had trailers 3-4ft from each other on different sites. They may also want to think about some tree trimming because the roads are lined with low hanging branches. People with big rigs will be scraping all the way to their site. I needed 3 people to guide me into our site (I've been towing a trailer for 20 years) because of very large pine trees. Our site was very uneven (5 inches in 10 ft laterally). Which made it very difficult to level. The power post didn't have a dedicated circuit breaker for our site, not even sure where it was. It's was clean of litter. We never visited the restrooms or showers. Overall it was ok. Wouldn't go out of our way to specifically go there but if we needed to, we would stay again. read more

Woodmore campground Is one of the best managed campgrounds around my kids put away their electronics for the weekend and use the many amenities avalible, pool arcade, baskball court and lots of local attractions go to another campground first then come here ....you will never want anywhere els ......... We had a great weekend there! The pool was cool on a very hot day. The restrooms and other infrastructure was good. We forgot to bring our camping chairs. Christine let us borrow two from the pool deck, she saved our evenings around the camp fire! The on-site kayak rentals are reasonable and very convenient. We will go back. Mount Monadnock is only 20 minutes away. Don't miss it! read more

We stayed there 3 nights, our 1st time there. We stayed at the safari field. The bathrooms we used were the ones near the pool/playground area. Extremely clean, I believe brand new too. The children had fun in the pool, they played volleyball and used the basketball court. The lake was walking distance, pretty close, we all loved fishing from the dock. We rented 6 kayaks from single to doubles it cost us $80 for 1 hour. We enjoyed it very much. There is no swimming near the dock but because we had the kayaks we took a dip in a little island not far from the shore. On Friday they had a movie night, Saturday they had bingo. The wifi only works near the office but why do we need it anyways??? Overall the campground is clean, staff friendly enough. We will definitely going back. read more

This campground is in need of massive attention. The narrow roads have hardly any gravel leading to muddy walkways. The one bathroom for the entire campground is in disrepair. Toilets not flushing well. Dirty walls needing repair shower stall in bad condition.overall appearance of campground looking like a junk yard. On top of paying $46 per night you have to pay for a shower and your family has to pay$10 per person to visit. Not my cup of tea! Certainly will not be back!!!! read more

The place is OK but the owner Sam is a jerk. One morning he came by and yelled "I'm gonna get your group" and ran off. We were dumbfounded. He came back an hour and talked to the site across the way. The old man there proceeded to give me a death stare for the next two hours. The owner came over to us screaming that he should kick us out for the noise we made. We told him that we had stopped all noise just before 11 when he had asked us. The funny thing is the guy playing guitar came from the site that complained. Also, we made friends with all the other surrounding sites and we were all together playing music all night. I guess because we're not local regulars he decided to single us out and exercise his power trip. Its also funny that there was a huge VIetnamese group next to us with a PA system that had played very loud music and karaoke late into the night the previous night and did the same until 2 or 3 am the following night. I walked up to the owner later and calmly apologized and told him we'll do anything to make sure he doesn't have to worry and its his place so we'll follow his rules. He gave me a dirty look and stormed off. That's what you get for trying to be nice to an asshole. The place is crowded. The restrooms were disgusting. read more

We are a fan of Woodmore Campground, We have stayed in several sites each unique. The location is perfect, you can bike on the "rails to trails", canoe or Kayak on the lake or other bodies of water close by, and you can Hike Mt. Monadnock all very close. The staff always has something going for the children to keep them busy. Whether you tent it or trailer it the campground is perfect. We have gotten to know the owners they are friendly and really care for each and every camper and they strive to make your stay a great one. We will make it a place we go back to often. Great campground to spend the nite or the whole summer. I have been a seasonal camper at Woodmore since 2002, nearly 14 years. I wouldn't keep coming back if I didn't feel safe and comfortable. I have many nice friendships that all started as co-campers at Woodmore. read more

Even though this campground has electrical hook-ups, a pool, gameroom and small convenient store, what it lacks is any character and space in its campsites. The only thing distinguishing one campsites border from the other is the flimsy tables each one comes with. The pool is decent, unlike the lake access though forget about swimming in it. Also, the restrooms are clean enough. I'd recommend this place only for the cheap option of entertaining your small children, for which I have none! read more

The campground is very loud. Bathrooms are not cleaned very often. The toilets were plugged and overflowing. The pool was dirty and not just from the kids having accidents in the pool. It needs to be cleaned !!!!! If you have no other choice for a place to stay because you have a dog them woodmore is for you. Plus the owner is not a very nice person. read more
