A few days before my appointment, I received a text saying I would now need to pay an additional $50 "health assessment" fee due to a new Tennessee state law. I looked into it myself and could not find any law specifically requiring this fee. More importantly, this charge is not disclosed anywhere on Groupon or on their website -- even now, after supposedly being "required." New clients are essentially being blindsided with an extra mandatory fee after booking. When I questioned it over text, I requested a phone call for clarification. The manager called me with an immediate attitude, saying, "You asked me to call you," and the conversation only got worse from there. Instead of professionally explaining the situation, I was told my choices were to pay the fee, choose a lesser-value service, or cancel. Every concern I raised was dismissed with "I'm not arguing with you." Very disappointing experience overall. Hidden fees and rude customer service are not okay, especially when customers purchase services expecting transparent pricing upfront. I will not be returning.

But here they immediately charge you $100 along with a $3 service fee. I've never been charged a $3 service fee at any spa or salon. Nor have I been charged $100 deposit a month in advance of my appointment.... Terrible business practice, for that reason they just lost a customer.
