On the whim, I decided to switch it up and have it done at JC's this time. I didn't think the job I got done at Austin Window Tint could have been done better, but have to admit that JC's did do it better. Almost flawless job done at JC's. I was able to schedule a same day install, the nephew of the owner took his time to share with me the difference between regular dyed film vs ceramic coating. They also have a display that shows red light heat with regular tint and it's warm. Then the red light with ceramic and it's not warm, great difference between the 2 films. For those that intend to park cars outside, it's best to go ceramic from the start. The install took about 2 hours, the nephew provided shade color options, I opted for the 15% Texas preferred up front and 30% darker in the rear. Total cost was $550 which includes my Tesla model 3 tinting the entire rear window and not half. Regular standard tint is $249 starting and ceramic coating film starts at $349. Comes with a life time warranty so I definitely feel good service, great product, amazing craftsmanship install. If you bring cash, you avoid the 3% merchant fee the company passes on to the customer.
