I can usually secure an appointment within several days of booking, and there are many Saturday appointments available. I usually get Jonathan or Anthony as service advisors in The Atlantic Hyundai Service Department. Both men always text me their digital business card, and they call me with updates while my car is being serviced. They also provide free Lyft/Uber service to customers, like me, who live within the vicinity of the dealership. When I decline a ride home, I wait in either the Hyundai Atlantic waiting area or the Toyota one. Both are comfortable and spacious. My vehicle is usually serviced quick! I am in and out 1-2-3. The advisors and technicians definitely know what they are doing. I highly recommend!

They once tried to sell me a service for my brakes that wasn't need at all (I took my car to my trustworthy family mechanic of 20+ years to verify ). And its a shame, because we loved the cars and we are at the end of a lease and need to make a decision. Will we purchase a VW? Likely. Will it be from West Islip VW? I can guarantee it will not be. Our salesman Paul was helpful and straightforward with us. He and one of the managers did everything they could to get us to take the car home that day, which wasn't entirely a bad thing. However the stress began when it came time to sign papers. It was the end of the day and everyone was ready to go home, including us. We wanted to take our time and thoroughly review all of the paperwork. The numbers weren't making sense to us or adding up. Finally they claimed they must've made a mistake and "accidentally" entered a fee twice. This fee was around $2,000 so that was quite a mistake! This seemed very shady so we were ready to walk away, but in the end we decided to go through with it since it seemed like everything worked out in our favor. In conclusion, we did experience some unnecessary stress and they may or may not have been trying to pull a fast one on us, but we love the car and liked the salesman we dealt with.
