Noticed a Rav4 on their website and called on the car. Mike, the Internet Sales Manager, said that they did not have the vehicle on the lot, but the car was at port and would be available the following week. When I got to the dealership the salesperson informed me that the car would not be available for at least another month or two. When I mentioned what Milke had told me, the salesperson felt bad, but explained to me that she did not work for Mike. I was not sure what the relevance of saying this was because in my mind Mike represented the dealership just like any other person working there. The Sales Manager Rich did not even take the time to apologize. There are many Toyota Dealerships in Suffolk County, I would avoid this one! read more

In 2017 they offered me a we owe for remote start on my Toyota RAV4 and it was an issue getting an appointment so I never cashed in on that. Their finance manager kept addressing my husband instead of me even though it was my car. Fast forward 2025 and I'm trading in that RAv4 for a 2022 Highlander LE. Will Blackwood and Rosa Walker went above and beyond to get the deal done in a way I could afford. I'm so happy with this car. This dealership has changed for the better in 7+ years and it's all about the people. Thank you for getting me into the car I deserve! read more

Everything needs to improve. Let's start with Brandon. The salesman wanna be race car driver! Shaz the finance guy terrible!!! The whole experience was a nightmare, dealing with the two of them, especially Brandon. Something that was supposed to be a joyous occasion for me buying a new vehicle was the most stressful nightmare I've ever dealt with. Brandon go take a few etiquette classes and learn how to really speak to people, especially when texting them very very rude. read more

In April 2025 I did return and purchased another car through them. Their selection of new and used vehicles were great. The sales person I dealt with was, again, extremely professional and helpful. In closing the deal I got the price I wanted and the vehicle I wanted. I entered the situation knowing that they have to make money on the car and I needed to save money on the sale. We met at an acceptable price point, with that clearly stated by me to the sales rep. Consequently, I made two purchases through this dealership and would consider returning although they are not even located in my area. It's worth the drive. read more

Here we go, So I purchased my first car from.this Toyota dealership. Now I'm purchasing my second car which is a Toyota Camry .Purchased a Camry that Just came on the lot. Not even hrs before I started to view and test drive it. I have come to the conclusion that all dealerships and sales are all the same. It's all about the game . This time I flipped the game on them. So management kept saying I don't understand how did you hustle us like that and get things done so fast. Lol. Usually when your purchasing a car you sit there for several hours, not me. I did almost everything myself . I saw what I wanted ask for final price including warranty , etc. talk to the finance Manager for about 20 minutes got my final number and I did the rest. Next day walked in with the check in total with insurance cards told them to write up the deal , detail the car, install the alarm, check for oil change and other parts on the car , clear off the scratches I was good to go. No more than an hour. Yes I did receive my yelp discount of 325 dollars lol as a new walk in even though I knew several people that worked there already. I do know they have a shortage in cars. I was lucky. They barely had any cars on the lot. My salesperson was Will . Great guy . He has a funny personality. Been knowing him for over 10 yrs. He has been there for a very long time.. The only issue I had was the finance manager which is no longer working there ran my credit report without my permission which caused points off my score. I didn't need them to run my score because I already had an approval from the credit union and the check was already processed. So this Manager caused me some points off my score. Overall it was a Ok experience working with this dealership. read more

Have to say I left here disappointed. As someone who has purchased the last two vehicles from this location I expected a bit more of customer loyalty. The price was 5k over sticker, which is a bit harsh. I know prices have gone up but that much is ridiculous. Since I was a "previous" customer they cut it down to 3k over. On top of that their loan rates weren't friendly. I'm highly disappointed and plan on continuing to shop...even with other brands. On the plus side the location is clean, plenty of parking and my rep was friendly. read more

I had a Prius battery die on a Saturday at 3:45pm (on the ferry no less). I called 4 places to locate the battery and finally found it at this dealer. However, when I spoke to the parts department I was told it closed at 4:00pm and my eta per my gps was 4:30pm. Mike James stayed late to help me and even found someone to put it in for me. I was so grateful and relieved. This was absolutely above and beyond for a complete stranger. He was professional and friendly. I am so impressed that there are still people out there showing kindness. Thank you Mike. read more

Don't shop here! Sleazy and dishonest salesmen! I paid a deposit of $2000 to hold a critically needed work vehicle. Rich Healy the Main manager promised to hold the PERFECT VEHICLE for my work needs. His incompetent co-manager SOLD the truck to someone else after I put a deposit on it and a SOLD sign was on it!!!! Healy the manager insisted I send a check and refused to accept a 1 day wire transfer from my bank- WEIRD. I sent a check at the beginning of the month and called weekly asking if the check arrived so I could arrange delivery. They say the check never arrived... TWENTY DAYS LATER I get a call out of the blue on Sunday saying they sold the truck out from underneath me after I paid a HUGE deposit out of my checking account and was ready to do a wire transfer or send another check!!!. My current Work truck has a dying transmission and I desperately needed a new work truck. This fiasco cost me over $2500 for a new transmission in an old truck that needs to go!! I think they have the check, lied and found someone else who would pay more for the truck, so the sleazbags at Atlantic Toyota lied and pretended that they lost the check. WORST EXPIERENCE EVER. I got a Camry for my little sister, this is the third car I have purchased from a dealer, the most expensive and I 100% regret it and do not recommend this dealership. When purchasing the car I bought a pre paid maintenance plan for $1149, the finance guy Gerard said I would be able to get serviced at any Toyota location on Long Island and beyond. I tried to use it at Riverhead and Middle Island Toyota, on two separate occasions because they are closer to my house. Both times I had to pay $100+ out of my pocket because my ppm was "not in Toyota system". When I confronted this west Islip dealership they simply said "those dealers are lying to you" Toyota Financial and Brand Engagement could care less, because they do not have ANY control over what the franchises do. As the customer what am I supposed to do, take off of work and go into Riverhead and Middle Island Toyota and tell them west Islip Toyota said you are liars? Immature and unprofessional - it's simply not what I purchased. I recommend you don't waste your money on the ppm unless you can go to this specific dealership for service everytime. Plus, If you break it down the ppm is more $ per oil change then if you went to the dealer without it but they don't tell you that when your purchasing the car or the ppm. I was interested in a warranty and Gerard told me he would sell me a Platinum 5 year/50,000 mile warranty (Toyota calls this a vehicle service agreement or vsa) for $3,495. He told me my dad and my little sister the same thing we were all together. When I got the warranty in the mail it was a platinum 2year/20,000 mile vsa. When I called the dealership they told me I have to come down and speak to a finance manager and that Gerard was fired, I even texted the sales lady Priscilla that sold me the car and she never answered me. I finally went down there and the paper work for my refund was filled out, you can see it below. The paperwork was not processed for an entire year and the amount refunded was pro rated to the date it was filed - not when I asked for the refund. The head of sales Mr. Healy told me he would not refund it to the date when I originally asked or called them because it was "bad for business". I also paid interest on the vsa and was not refunded that either. When I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership Mr. Healy told me "that will never happen he lives in Florida". Unimpressive answers all around from this shady dealership and ultimately disappointing. The car is fine it's the dealership and the brand that are the problem Ive been trying to get the rest of my money back for two years, I have made over 5 trips to the dealership sitting and waiting to talk to Mr. Healy and spent over 10 hours on the phone with Toyota. There's a level of professionalism you expect when your making a $30,000 purchase; this dealership and the brand's actions are mediocre at most and I don't recommend spending your time or money here. read more

I am in the process of buying a vehicle that was in transit. I had to call to see if the vehicle arrived because the gentleman who assisted me was off work(I completely understand that). Nobody else has reached out. I feel like I'm chasing them when I'm the one buying a vehicle. They were very nice when I was there, and I expected that same level of engagement once the car arrived. I highly recommend this place if you're are buying a vehicle that's in stock. If I would've known that I had to be chasing personnel to get answers, I would've gone to another dealership. BEWARE: DONT BUY INSURANCE THERE! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY(they stole $311 from me) I purchased a car there, Adem referred me to Jet Insurance Agency, spoke with Elaine Manon. I PAID $500, promised it would ALL go to my insurance, and only $189 went to my insurance. When I left the office, ELAINE SAID I PURCHASE LEGAL SERVICES! After 3 months of asking for my money back, I keep getting the run around (first her boss had COVID and couldn't answer emails (?), then her boss couldn't answer because he couldn't get laptop and infect his family). I'm telling you, the level of unprofessionalism is off the charts. Sales person Adem referred me to someone (Elaine) who took $311 for LEGAL SERVICES when I was trying to purchase CAR INSURANCE. I even called the number for legal services (promised as 24 hours) and it's a voicemail that never returns my call. IT HAS BEEN THREE MONTHS AND EVERY WEEK SHE SAYS "MY REFUND WILL COME". Finally she said a check would come in the mail. That was 3 weeks ago. Then she said the check has a "stop payment" and it would go straight to my bank account in 3 days. It has been 1.5 weeks and waiting. SCAMMY & UNPROFESSIONAL. Also, I got a car insurance quote for $199 from Elaine, and then my employer gave me a quote for $170. I cancelled my insurance bought from this con artist. MORAL OF THE STORY: If you have bought insurance within Atlantic Toyota, read your paperwork to see if you are buying LEGAL SERVICES. I bought my toyota corolla into service to have the oil changed. I waited over 2.5 hours for them to finish and I've had problems with the car since. THEY DID not check the fluids. Recently they were under new management and I don't know if this is why the service was so terrible. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Anyone who gets their service done here knows it is the longest wait around - several hours. I knew this and I continued to bring my vehicle in because I bought it here. I try with them and I'm always kind and patient. However, two days ago, I came in with my car and had my son with me. Tim Keehner told me in the worst complaining judgmental tone that my son's cries sounded like a girl and asked me why he sounded like a girl. And laughed. I was stunned and apologized to him. I was struggling to avoid exposing my son to the construction site while I was waiting to speak with Ada and she was on the phone for an extended time. When we went to wash his hands in the showroom bathroom, there was no room with two other women in the bathroom and my son slipped and hit the corner of his left eye on the faucet. He's entering his twos and we sometimes have a tough time but he had endured a long wait already. It broke my heart and I was very worried. He's fine of course, things happen to kids, but at least if there had been a changing table it might have helped. There was not one there. Tim over the phone later denied that too and claimed there was one. This is just plain false. We waited 3 long hours before Ada called and asked for $700 of work to be done. Just for an minor engine tune up, wheel alignment and filter changes. I was shocked but exhausted and I begged her to save me some money and I couldnt pay and she talked on and on and saved me a total of $30. She expected a thank you. That girl has never had any idea of what it means to struggle with money. I called the next day to find out who the man was who insulted my son because I didn't know at the time and found out it was Tim. Tim had had my car before and was generally kind and professional. I was shocked and he denied he ever said anything about my son. He said he was speaking about an associate. This is false. He transferred me to his supervisor who he said was Dan Bailey. Dan apologized and promised he would fix things and call back the same day. He did not before 5 pm so I called back and a receptionist told me I was confused and Dan was not a supervisor and the manager was someone named Tim - cannot remember the last name but not Keehner. They preyed on an intentionally exhausted abused (verbally, financially) mother. I can't believe Tim Keehner has a family but if he does I feel terrible for his wife and children. read more

2 1/2 hours for an oil change. Asked me to fill out a survey when thru. Here's my survey, an oil change should t take more than 30min MAX. If you cannot perform basic maintenance within a reasonable time , your service is USELESS and you shouldn't be selling it like it's a advantage. Your selling aggravation. Imagine paying $15K over MSRP to service a brand new vehicle with 5,000 miles on it. If I wanted to wait in a service shop for hours I would have kept my original car. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. It seems the entire finance and service departments are run by incompetent liars. First of all the finance manager told me that I NEEDED to purchase an extra warranty to finance the car and that "he didn't have time to let me read through the terms". Should have been my first red flag. Having never bought a car from a dealership before, I foolishly trusted him, only to find in bold all caps font in the terms that a warranty is NOT required to acquire financing. Absolute no class move. (His name is Chaz, he has a hilariously fake Rolex, and he doesn't give a f**k about customers). On top of that, while I was on the test drive, the window fell into the door of the car and wouldn't come back up. I was assured they would fix it before I came back. Once I picked up the car and got home, I realized they reassembled the window improperly and it was causing issues, and they refuse to reimburse me for the cost of having it fixed. Please, please, please. Do yourself a favor and look for a car elsewhere. You don't need these headaches in your life. read more

I went in today. There weren't any customers in there. Not one person greeted when I walked in. I also don't like pushiness of a salesperson but I didn't even get greeted. After a few minutes I walked up to a salesman who was rude in my opinion brushing me off. I sat in a certified vehicle on the showroom floor that was ready to roll off the floor and still not one person came up to me. After several minutes I walked out. I am not only a woman but an older woman and I can't help but feel that if I walked in with a man I would have gotten more attention. Terrible shopping experience , from the beginning of the transaction, nothing but lies . First of all Lorenzo the sales associate, told us that the Tacoma, did not come in a base model, and went straight for the higher end. Secondly, he was informed by the manager Eric, that the vehicle was not in stock, and that it was on a truck arriving at the dealership in a few days . Promised the vehicle in a few days, it was to no avail, and they had no clue, where the vehicle was. We gave them another 2 weeks, to see if the vehicle had arrived, again, not available. No communication from the dealership with any updates on the vehicle. We went to the dealership to obtain a refund on our deposit, and informed the manager , we were not satisfied with their customer service. In return he stated the refund should be posted in 5 business days, again they let us down its been 2 weeks, still no refund. We called the dealership, spoke to the accounts payable department, and they had no record of the refund transaction. They stated they will once again process the refund, and that we should receive it in 5 business days. We won't hold our breath on this. And thirdly, we went to another Toyota dealership in queens, hillside to be exact, and they had not only one but 2 different models of the color we wanted in stock. See separate reviews for their great customer service and honesty. We would rate you guys with zero stars . Be honest with your customers, and stop trying to rob them . read more

I really don't even know where to begin with this place. The absolute worst car dealership I have ever been to. I've never felt the need to write huge review like this. That's how frustrating this place is. I suggest you avoid this place at all costs. For starters, we walk in and say we're looking for a 15K mile lease. First guy takes us outside, sees another customer and says hold on be right back. Never came back. We should have left right there. After wandering for a while, someone else comes. Tell them what we're looking for. Brings us inside to talk numbers. Told them we are putting a dollar amount down TOTAL, to cover taxes titles and fees + whatever extra after that total would be the down payment. We get a number that is so astronomical I thought it was a joke. After a back and forth that they're giving us a "good deal" we say we're leaving. After "checking" it magically came down to slightly less than we were quoted in 2 other dealerships. Few days go by and we come to the day we are supposed to come and pick the car up as scheduled at 430. Wife gets a call that morning verifying we wanted the white one. We say no, we give him the VIN# and he says oh I think that car was sold. They "find" another one with same specs as the one that they had reserved for us so we're still on for pickup, but say come in at 6 to give them more time to prep. We get there, and we sit at a table in the showroom, finally someone comes up saying they're driving it from their other lot, and washing it so should be here soon. We get the paperwork started. Got the whole speech about we should get the silver warranty package because it included the gap insurance, which I always thought was required for leases. Looking at previous lease paperwork, we see there's just gap insurance on it's own. Front desk says we can just do the gap insurance and not the whole package. We get to the money changing hands part and he throws a number well above what we said we were putting down. He says well its for all the fees. Apparently no one could comprehend the fact that they had agreed to our total number we said is our out of pocket to cover the fees and taxes, not a down payment. That argument fell on deaf ears. After that got straightened out we go back out to the showroom to sit and wait for him to do the DMV/insurance. Mind you the vehicle STILL isn't there yet and its now 8PM Another 20 minutes go by and he comes out and says we need to call the insurance and change the name to the married name. (We had just been married a few months prior) Even though my wife still hasn't changed her last name with DMV. We told him this and he insists he can't put it through with the old name still on her current DMV paperwork. We call the insurance company, make the change and they said it will take 24-48 hours but they can email the confirmation of the change. The only way Atlantic wanted it was by Fax which insurance company can't do. Insurance sends to my wife's email, which we then forward to his email. Why couldn't the insurance company just do that? We walk into the office to finish up, and he says I was able to put it through with the old name so switch the insurance back. ARE YOU KIDDING? At this point we're beyond frustrated, and we're the only ones in the dealership. Clearly everyone wants to go home since we are now rushed over to another person at another desk to sign all the paperwork. We can't look at anything we're signing and just get the 2 second this is what this is yada yada. We finally go to leave, and they say they made a miscalculation in the numbers and we owe MORE MONEY. This puts the wife over the edge and gets visibly upset and steps away. It is now almost 10PM. They turn to me and say is everything OK? I literally just give them a blank stare and a chuckle thinking they really can't be serious with that question. We were told the whole time it was 15K miles. Turns out the lease was only for 12K in their system. And the "sold" car is sitting out front waiting for us. Apparently took 3 hours to drive from their other lot 100 feet down the road. We set up a meeting and the GM immediately goes on the defensive like we're in the wrong. He says he'll write up an addendum that they agree to cover the additional mileage if she goes over the 12. Think its an official Toyota form or something that they're waiting on. After a week or two of back and forth, we finally get the "form". Literally an email stating they'd cover the overage if there is any with three lines drawn on it. 3 months later, still haven't received their signed copy. Go in, speak with finance manager and met with resistance. Pull out the email dated 3 months ago, he miraculously finds it. Returns with unsigned copy, signs his name and says "are we OK now" Rude is an understatement. Customer service is non-existent and their record keeping is abysmal. How is this place still in business? read more
