A perfect birthday ladies night!…read more I celebrated my birthday at Rustic Brush on Monday, October 19th with a 6pm session for 13 ladies, and it was fantastic. Jennifer made coordinating easy from start to finish. Over the two weeks leading up to the event, she checked in twice with an updated list of who had confirmed and which project each person picked. As the organizer, that made it simple to follow up with stragglers and get everyone booked on time. That preparation showed on the day. Every project's materials were laid out and ready when we walked in. Most of us had never touched a power tool before, and the setup made it feel approachable instead of intimidating. Exciting, actually. What I loved most was the balance. Everyone chose their own project and worked at their own pace, while still eating, talking, and celebrating together. I brought my own food, drinks, and cake, which made it feel like a real party (not just a class). My friends raved about it, my piece is going on display in my home, and the group has already asked, "When are we coming back?" Thank you, Jennifer!

Mr. Carson and Mrs. Carson are incredibly talented artists and wonderful teachers. It seems to me…read morethat they really understand how to engage with each student, showing patience and care while allowing personal creativity and independence. My girls (7yr and 9yr) started with a short spring break camp but asked to stay on and now love their weekly art and crochet classes. They never complain about going and never want to miss a class, which says a lot for busy kids this age! Since, their skills have improved much and I'm always impressed to see the projects they bring home. If you take a peek at the other student's work displayed, your mind will be blown. It's encouraging to see other parents entrust their extremely talented children to this school.

BYOB, and she provides real wine glasses - they are not the cheap kind either (don't expect Riedels, obviously). And with later hours than most (last class is 7:30-10:30pm), this is a great date spot. Granted I went with my dad, we had such a fun night. With so many restaurants and even bars nearby, 6 hours flew by before we knew it. I highly recommend the Crazy Canvas with Michelle.

Michelle our instructor was understanding in these matters and she jugged both the students who were their on time, who were 15 mins into their paintings and my family who were settling in. Michelle got us up to speed within 10 mins of our arrival. The example painting was very intimidating for first timers, but Michelle dissected each section of the example painting with efficiency but realistic tips and tricks. She was super helpful in aiding us with aspects that were to scary to attempt on our own. Their was a 5 minute break were you could sip and snack, but we mostly kept painting because it fun and relaxing. Top 40 hits was playing in the background which allow me to relax even more, and sing lowly the lyrics. Overall we had a blast. Recommendations: wear clothes you can get paint on, you have an apron, but things happen. Have a small bag with you, big hand bags take up space under the table. If you have a Groupon deal, print it before you come. Bring a small sitting pillow, the old backside gets numb when you sit for 2 hours on small plastic stool. Its a unisex restroom, go easy on the liquids. Have a protective cloth and space in your car for transport of your masterpiece after. All in all we had a grand time.

Liz provided the paint, canvas, apron and brushes and was there if you had any questions. It was a fun family activity in an extremely comfortable environment. From what I heard to she does parties for adults and kids too. Anyway 5 stars from me. I was surprised she wasn't on Yelp. Thanks Liz for a great time!!
