The teachers are always quick to provide feedback, and there is no guessing on our part on exactly how our child is doing. It really is an environment that emphasizes working hand in hand with us to make sure that the same messages are being delivered both at school and at home. That attention to consistency has really helped in giving our son, and us, a sense of comfort. After moving from the Northeast without a real sense of the area, we were incredibly blessed to come upon this school, as well as this parish. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton comes with our highest recommendation.

This school also has teachers who my child and many others have said to be "total nuts" due to the way some of these teachers use their class time. My son came home saying how his teacher was doing "ballet" and "writing with one leg in the air". This was upsetting to hear considering how much respect i had for this school. In these past few years i have lost lost of respect towards this place.

The experience varies tremendously based on each teacher for elementary but we've been very fortunate with excellent teachers. The math program is very good. Students are given the opportunity to skip grades it capable. Class sizes are very small (often 10 or less per grade) and kids receive plenty of individual attention. However, like any school, parent involvement is still important. The facilities could use upgrades and the restrooms would benefit from being kept cleaner.

They are still owned by the same people it seems. Back then there was already a high teacher turnover rate and my experiences here ultimately pushed me away from religion altogether. I endured relentless bullying after 5th grade including from staff's children and older students, while teachers looked the other way. I also dealt with derogatory name-calling and shaming from both peers and staff. In 7th grade I was pressured into signing a contract without my parents' knowledge after administrators decided I wasn't "the kind" they wanted at their school. What triggered the contract in the first place was my MySpace at the time. I had a tank top on in my profile picture that supposedly accentuated my chest mind you I was 12. Eventually I was expelled, for something as small as kissing a boy on the cheek, while far more serious behavior from other students were overlooked. Looking back, I wish my parents had never paid tuition here. I found more peace, acceptance, and quality education in Katy ISD public schools than I ever did at this private school. Save your money, and if you are set on private school, try anywhere but here. They don't advocate or empathize with their students. You either fit their mold or you're an outcast.

Our children are able to have a safe space to be themselves with gentle guidance and clarity on school expectations. They have learned so much and have surpassed developmental milestones. I absolutely love the foundation of them learning who God is and how he plays a major part in our lives. Our oldest attended a public charter school for Kindergarten and half of 1st grade before re-enrolling her back into BCA. We have seen a huge improvement in her reading, writing, spelling and confidence. Our youngest went through having behavior kids biting and attacking her before teachers even noticed at her previous daycare. We have seen a huge improvement in her behavior and confidence as well. She knows how to spell and working on writing her own name at 3yrs of age. The faculty and staff work together to provide a safe and close knit community for our children. I highly recommend BCA to anyone who want to have smaller classrooms, food provided, and before/after school programs.
