Which is totally fine, it's just that the door and wall leading to the hallway were glass, and the woman working there would constantly peek in to see if I was done which was really uncomfortable. She came in before I finished and tried to help me with my hooks without permission, which she then broke in the process. I needed to get my dress shortened, and the straps tightened and she told me the cost would be $120 which was outrageous?? I was initially told the price was going to be $20 so it was just really absurd that she told me $120? I asked to leave and told her about the hooks but she just told me I could fix it myself; that it wasn't hard. Regardless of how easy it is to fix the hooks, it's extremely unprofessional that she didn't fix something she literally broke. I was really looking forward to getting my dress altered but it was disheartening that my experience was so awful. Not sure if my experience with Paulina is due to racism? Especially since i've heard such good things about her from others. Just wish I could have gotten the time back; the drive, the visit, the drive back. Just kinda a waste.

Yelena is extremely professional, experienced, honest, and accommodating. Before working from home, she worked as a seamstress for a well-known bridal shop for about 5 years. This was evident as she was very knowledgeable during the entire process and did an AMAZING job on my dress. I had a big ball gown (horse hair style) which required alterations to the chest area, taking in the bodice, adding a bustle, and hemming it. It required a lot of work and everything was altered really nicely. Any additional requests I had, Yelena was more than happy to accommodate it until I was completely happy with the dress.
