Unfriendly, unprofessional, outrageously rude service! Would not admit that they sliced my leather jacket -- insisting the damage was already there when I brought it in. I regret not sending my husband to talk to them! They didn't charge me ( because they know THEY did it!) but the jacket is ruined! All I asked them to do to sew in a new zipper! AVOID this so-called business!!! read more

I had purchased a bathing suit from Amazon. com and the rear end elastic was too loose and baggy. They did an excellent job of altering it to fit snuggly and the seams were sewn perfectlly. I will definately be using their services again. Very friendly staff too! read more

Unfriendly and expensive, poor service. I do not recommend this place. I went in to have two new pairs of mens slacks hemmed and to have the waist let out 1/2". The service was unfriendly (not rude) without a greeting when I walked in the door. The fitting room curtain doesn't close all the way and although the lady I was speaking with seemed competent enough to sound like she knew what she was talking about, was quite uninterested in providing positive or even good customer service - she was almost rude, perhaps more unprofessional than rude. The worst issue was their pricing. Crowfoot Alt - Hem $16, Waist alteration $32. Tower Cleaners - Hem $14, Waist alteration $16. When I mentioned this and asked about price matching, they said they don't do that and that it's my choice to go elsewhere, and when I did she chuckled. read more

I am in a wheelchair so nearly everything I wear must be altered. Just another expense of being disabled. Because of that I look for value, quick service if I need it, clean environment, friendly and trustworthy people. I receive all that at Crowfoot Alterations. I don't always need a fast turnaround and out of courtesy I let them know that. I suppose that is one reason they will do something very quickly if I ask. I have been going to them since 2008 and currently have a custom made shower curtain ready to be picked up. If you treat them right, you will get treated the same. If you explain exactly what you want, you will get it. read more

I brought some handkerchiefs and some scraps of lace from my wedding dress to be sewn to the edges of the handkerchiefs. I had some long, thick pieces of lace that could have been cut to the same thickness, so I don't know why they chose to use the thin, raggedy pieces to sew on. The lady told me she'd do a 3/4 inch border, but the thickness ranges (on each side of the handkerchief) from less than 1/2 inch to over 3/4 inches. On something so small and delicate the difference in thickness is very noticeable. I'm so disappointed, as I don't have enough lace to get them both redone at a better place, and they were supposed to be gifts for my mother and mother-in-law to be. Also, you have to give a star for this to post. If I could, I'd give a half star or less. read more

I went here a few times and got some things altered without an issue. The last time I went in, I took in quite a few items and was then charged double for each item (keep in mind this place already charges more then any other alteration location in the nw) I was never once warned about the increase in price, even though I've been there quite a few times. I heard loads of excuses and the seamstress was not willing to find a middle ground with me even though the original price was still clearly listed in the store!!! I didn't appreciate the lack of communication and will not go back again! read more

Both me and my friend had some work done and they have excellent prices and did a great job, I also appreciate the mom and pop charm of the store. read more

I went to crowfoot alterations and repairs with my mother about an hour ago to get my bridesmaid dress altered. When we walked in, we could tell this wasn't a high end place. We sat down in the only two chairs available (they were actually pretty comfy!) and we waited what seemed like a bit too much time without what seemed like the only seamstress in the store giving us so much as a second look. This wasn't a busy place, though, so it's not like we waited forever. When the seamstress was done with the previous lady, I explained to her I needed to get my dress altered and she told me to go change in the middle dressing room. I had difficulty closing the curtain. The change rooms are nothing special. There is a mirror in there, which i like. I just hate change rooms without a mirror. But there was very poor lighting in the change rooms and nothing on the walls except for two hangers which were almost too high for me to reach. There WAS a place for me to put my stuff, which was good. I was able to fit all my stuff there. So I changed and came out and stood there for a bit, then the seamstress came and helped me. I told her I needed the straps to be a bit tighter so she pinned them and warned me about them being sharp. Then I told her the dress needed to be shorter so she did that. The price was around $70. I would go back again if I needed a good priced alteration and if I wasn't in a rush. read more
