Jackie does amazing and incredibly detailed work! She created a ballgown for me, even selecting the silk fabric. I highly recommend her.

Chi was so kind from my first call - she never made me feel bad about coming to her in such a time crunch, and offered very reasonable alteration rates! From our first appointment, it was clear that Chi is an expert at her craft and is passionate about her work. She really cares about her brides and making sure we look and feel our best!! When I first received my dress, the neckline looked way different from when I tried on the store sample - Chi took a look at the original pics I had, and helped get the neckline back to the look I loved. In addition to the alterations, which were masterfully done, Chi offered some much appreciated wedding day wisdom that covered little details I would have missed otherwise. I would recommend Chi to any and every bride in the area. She does phenomenal work, and is such a sweet person!

Hope you're doing well ;)…read more The wedding was a huge success, and everyone -- including me -- was absolutely stunned at how incredible my dress turned out at our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With that said... I'm sharing a few photos from when I was doing my alterations with you at your home to the actual wedding day. Seeing the transformation makes me even more grateful for your talent. Your work was truly stunning. My dress fit me like a glove -- honestly, even better than I ever imagined it would. You did an exquisite job, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I absolutely loved working with you. You're so knowledgeable, kind, patient, professional, and incredibly detail-oriented... just like me ;) I felt so confident and beautiful, and that's all thanks to you. With so much gratitude, Astrid P.S. David absolutely LOVED the little embroidered detail you put inside my dress with my new last name

I've been a loyal customer here for nearly five years. From dry cleaning to buying jackets, getting…read moreitems repaired, and even having clothes custom made, I've always trusted their work. Recently, I ordered 5 custom shirts with my initials, specifically requesting French cuffs. There must have been some miscommunication because the first batch didn't have them. No problem--I brought one of the shirts back, handed it to them, and asked for 5 more of the exact same shirt but with French cuffs. I was told that wouldn't be an issue. What I received was nowhere near the same. The fabric and color don't match--the originals had some stretch, making them comfortable and easy to move in, while the new ones are stiff and restricting. The collars are different too: the originals had slots for removable collar stays, but the new ones came with flimsy built-ins. On top of that, the sleeves are slightly too long and missing the gauntlet button on the placket. I even tried wearing one, thinking maybe I could live with it, but at the end of the day it's simply not what I ordered or paid for. When I calmly explained the situation, expecting they'd just correct the mistake, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. I was even told I must have chosen the wrong fabric--something I never did, as I clearly handed them the original shirt to replicate. Even the person I spoke with admitted the shirts were completely different, yet they refused to make it right. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen. But when it comes to bespoke items, refusing to fix an obvious mistake is unacceptable. Unfortunately, they've lost my business for good.

All the areas to be adjusted. It costs $126 for alterations. The style was a simple flowy one shoulder gown. The primary alterations were tightening the bust and bodice. Then hemming. I didn't try it on when I picked it up... I know...I should have. Evening of event, I put it on. It was a disaster! Still too long and so loose at the bust and bodice I had to wear a duster over my dress, and still had to pull it up all evening. It looked horrible. I was self conscious all evening. I take responsibility for not doing my due diligence and trying it on before I left the shop. HOWEVER, there is NO WAY he altered it according to the fitting we did. My one star is because his store was neat and clean.

Just after pinning it up, she made me feel so much more confident in my dress and myself! She was able to tuck in the waist, hem the dress, fitted my cap sleeves, added a deep V and added a bustle. I made this appointment almost a month ago and told her that my wedding is early June. She did not mention that this would not be enough time to alter my dress when I initially booked the appointment over the phone. She didn't ask any follow-up questions and just booked me. Fast forward to today, I go in and arrive 15 minutes early to be courteous and punctual. I awkwardly stand there for 5 minutes without any acknowledgment, and then a women (I'm assuming is her) comes over and takes my dress. When she is going to hang it up, I asked her if it was okay that I brought a second dress (my rehearsal dinner dress) but before I could even finish she harshly cuts me off and told me "you need sit down, I have another client". I was very taken aback but how rude she was and it honestly caught me off guard. It was so bad I almost debated just taking my dress back and leaving but because I had waited a month for this appointment and my wedding was in a month, I figured I might as well see it through. Huge mistake. I change into my dress and describe to her the alternations I was looking for, which is to shorten it a little and also remove the breast cups. I did not think it was a significant amount of alternations but she seemed to think so. She then proceeded to tell me that she "may" be able to do it, but then looked at her calendar and said that she couldn't guarantee it. I honestly was so confused because she knew my wedding date when she booked this consultation appointment. If it wasn't something that could be done I feel she should've just told me up front rather than let me wait until the appointment. At that point I didn't even put up a fight as in the back of my mind, I knew I wouldn't have been comfortable with her altering my dresses anyways. She gave off the impression that if anything needed tweaking or wasn't to your satisfaction you would be SOL. All in all, a huge waste of my time. It would've been less of a bad experience if she wasn't so rude upfront. I'm starting to think her 5-star google reviews are faked, as at least on Yelp there are a few honest reviews that mention her bad attitude to her clients so it seems to be a common theme. I have no doubt she would've done a good job at the alternations, but that trust was gone.

Well the dasher couldn't find my location, so after 15 minutes of trying to help the uber driver navigate his UPS, he hung up on me. So as a result, I call the store and get the store manager. After explaining the situation, she tries to rush me off the phone and give me corporates number... on a Saturday. So I explain to her that I'm still going to have to go to the store to get my clothes and suit dry-cleaned - she hangs up on me. Here's where the fun comes... so I uber down to the store and upon entering I wait in line. By the grace of God, the uber driver is at the counter talking to the store manager asking about MY order. So as these two are going back and forth, I jump in - well that was awkward because they only have one register open due to their renovations and it's a Saturday! So to ease the situation, I try to make it simple and just explain that I just want to drop the clothes off because I have other things to do. The Uber driver is asking me if I can cancel the order (which you can't), the store manager is spinning around circles telling me I have to call corporate (which I won't) and all I want is my receipt and leave so these other people can be helped. After this whole debacle I am waiting off to the side to what would be their lobby. The store manager, Lisa, decides that's she's going to use the last two cents of her brain to talk about me! She says, "... you call corporate, you figure out your refund - that's not my problem."... to which makes me go back in the store and confront her. The poor store clerk's eyes LIT UP when he realized I was still in the building. I expressed how poorly her management and leadership skills were and how embarrassing it must be to not even have the common sense to check the lobby before berating your customer... I asked for a call back and apology from Jaici Kelly, Director of Operations and Store Development, still haven't heard a response or received an apology... As an executive leader, this poor negligence and disregard for staff safety and customer sentiment reflects on their leadership. The company has a leadership issue.
