Service was fast, but when we went it wasn't that busy at all. This would be a good spot for a big team lunch since it's so spacious inside. We got the Wagyu Bolognese and the Duck Sausage Pasta. Both were delicious pastas, and had good flavor, but the Duck Sausage was a bit oily. Solid pastas and would get again, but nothing exceptionally better than other pastas in Chicago. Great spot for a shared plates night out! We ordered the manchego bread, stuffed peppers, beet salad, vodka pasta, and a bottle of New Zealand white wine. We also were there as they were closing and they kindly let us sit for a bit longer. Super nice service!! The manchego bread was the star of the table. Perfectly baked with a generous side of butter, the kind of bread you keep tearing into even when you're full. The stuffed peppers were light and delicious, and honestly paired so well with the bread. The beet slaw was a pleasant surprise, great texture play with nutty seeds and creamy goat cheese throughout. The vodka pasta was a touch salty for my taste, but still solid and satisfying overall. The New Zealand white was a great pick and complemented everything nicely. The whole menu is very shareable, which made the experience even more fun. Ambiance-wise, loved it, the city view really elevates the vibe. Came here with coworkers for lunch during restaurant week and had a great experience!! The restaurant itself is really cute, lots of seating and the ambiance is great. I'd definitely come back for a happy hour or drinks with the girls. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. I will say, we were only planning for lunch to be an hour and it ended up stretching into almost two. Not sure if this was because the place was busy with restaurant week or what happened, but was not prepared for a work lunch to go that long lol. I feel like the restaurant lunch deal was worth it - about $30 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Considering prices are generally high in the loop this felt pretty affordable. I got the stuffed peppers for an appetizer, the slow pork sandwich for my entree, and the strawberry tres leches for dessert. The peppers were really delicious. I thought they were the perfect size for one person for an app and I think that was my favorite course that came out. The slow pulled pork was also pretty good, but it was a pretty soft and messy sandwich. The strawberry tres leches was just alright - I wouldn't order it again on its own but I'm glad I tried it. My friends got the other menu options for restaurant week and enjoyed them. They liked the salad option and said the flat bread (I forget the actual name) was really good. Came here again today for a work dinner. Had a couple out of town guests so decided to come here. This was my first time dining indoors and the ambiance of the place is cozy and the great lighting since the roof is made of glass! Again, the drinks were delicious! The saffron crispy rice was a great texture and good and will definitely get it again. The paella was good at first, until I had a couple mussels that just did not taste right. It did not taste fresh at all. At first I thought it was just me but then I had another mussel and same thing. So I decided to not finish the shellfish as it tasted funny and did not wantto get sick. Took away a star from my review because of this. Our server was super sweet though, very attentive and great. So didn't really want to bug her about it. Plus everything else was great so didn't feel it was a big deal. It may have been a bad batch. Dessert was pretty good - and shareable. I'm willing to give the food here another shot. We came here for a team lunch and it was a really nice experience. We got seated in a booth but had to wait for our server for a little bit because it was quite busy. The place is very popular. I was a little surprised I didn't see but patatas bravas, but there was a lot of other great options. I came here for a team dinner while in Chicago for a work conference. We had a group of around 10 people and they were very accommodating (we had a reservation I think). My boss ordered appetizers for the table - the bread, stuffed peppers, and croquettes were amazing! Each appetizer comes with about 5 small bites, so we did need 2 orders of each for everyone to try it. There were multiple amazing-sounding options for "main" dishes, and I decided to try the ossobuco since I don't really make that on my own. The polenta was a little bland but pretty good consistency. The pork shank was very tender and I liked the pickled onions and chili pepper garnishes. If I came back, I would consider trying something else, like a flatbread. Better than I expected for a place in the loop. All the food was pretty good and the staff accommodating to our big group. For apps, I really enjoyed the croquettes and the beef tartare. The octopus was a little too spicy for me and the peppers were just average. We also tried the chicherons with dinner and they were a nice crunchy side but nothing incredible. All three mains we had were outstanding with the best being the duck sausage which had a good amount of sausage and was yummy and creamy. The wagyu bolognese was across really good and the noodle shape held the sauce and meat nicely. Okay so this place have been in my list of places to go . I wanted some paella and the menu seem as it the restaurant is gearing toward Spanish meals . When we got there , we were seated and we came around 3 pm and were given lunch menu , about 6 min later , a gentleman came and informed us that lunch was over and brought dinner menu instead . We started with the octopus and I was good . It was in a bed of potatoes , and pickled onions . It was grilled well and I wish it was grilled a little bit long yet. Make sure to squeeze some of those lemon on it to bring out even more taste . Then the paella came and it was small for 36$ I was expecting something a little bit bigger than the small size given . I tasted the paella and it didn't have any taste but salt. Oh it was salty that all I was tasting . It was missing flavor and lacking . (I informed our server and he took it back and took it off the bill ). Now the wagyu bolognese was really good and I really love it . It was perfect (my husband say the meat can be more soft but that's him ) it was perfect and delicious and seasoned well for me . I end up eating his since I was hungry . I wanted desert at first but after the paella not being good , I just didn't want to experience disappointment as I love tres leche and they have a strawberry one on the menu . We came here on a business trip with a large party. They had a great private room that included amazing service. Nobody had an empty drink. The menu options we had for our party were all delicious it was very hard to pick a favorite. We had three appetizers, three main courses and a dessert. You really can't wrong. One of my favorite lunches I had in Chicago! My friend and I shared a salad and then I had the truffle pasta and my friend had the duck sausage pasta and they were both so so delicious and worth the $24! We both finished our pasta dishes completely because we enjoyed them so much. We also sat out on their patio which they are working to renovate but we enjoyed their views my only complaint is I wish they would have had umbrellas for their outdoors tables. It's also nice that is part of two Hilton hotels so if you're staying in the Hilton garden inn or the canopy, absolutely check them out. Well this is my first time trying this Mediterranean Italian Spanish fusion restaurant. It was an opportunity for my employer since it was the holidays. The sangria was divine and delicious. They're wagyu bolenese pasta was their specialty on the Italian side of the menu next to the other pasta with vodka sauce and marinara. The red sangria I had was fresh fruity and refreshing. Since this was the icebreaker to eating something I didn't pay I would have to make this a bucket list to eat on one of the days that I'm here at work. Since the food was fresh. I wish they would do traditional ethnic but then again they call themselves Italian or Spanish thus the four stars. Service was very friendly among the staff and the ambience is very bougie and fancy. For dessert their mini churros was actually delicious this would be the second best churro since it's not too sugary on the bread as well as when you bite. The tres leches was also delicious to a little more heavier but since I had the opportunity if I had to eat one or the other the miniatures is the one I would probably stick with the right amount of sweetness unlike the street vendor churros which has that gritty sugary taste when you bite read more

I visited Seville Chicago a couple weeks ago with my girlfriends and, as we were leaving, we were handed a sealed envelope and told it was a discount for our next visit. Naturally, that encouraged us to come back. Last night, my girlfriends and I returned to celebrate a birthday. We were told we weren't allowed to open the envelope until after paying. When we finally opened it, the "discount" turned out to be a complimentary glass of bubbly -- which was extremely disappointing, especially since the birthday girl is pregnant and couldn't even use it and we were already leaving. This felt very misleading. The presentation of a sealed envelope strongly implied an actual discount, not a single drink. On top of that, the tapas portions were very small. We barely ate and still ended up spending about $98 per person, which didn't feel worth it for the amount of food or overall experience. Between the misleading "discount" and the overall experience , I wouldn't return. read more

Seville offered a wonderful spot to enjoy good food with my colleagues after a long-day of conferencing. We split the truffle churros, brussel sprouts, roasted hierloom carrots, wagu bolognese, and wild mushroom pinsa. The truffle churros were a miss - it had good bites and not so great bites. However, every other dish was superb. I particularly loved the tangy and slightly spicy brussels and the sweet and salty roasted carrots. The bolognese was also rich and hearty. We had a corner table in the back, which I appreciated since it was much quieter than other spots in the space. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

The draw for this place is the rooftop seating. Inside is nice, but not the same. Business lunches here are SLOW. They obviously are not changing their pace for the lunch crowd, so plan accordingly. We had a large table and tried to order two of each of the appetizers people wanted, but the waiter decided that if people were eating meals, one would be enough and never brought the doubles. Okay, but then some people did not have any bread and had to have tiny pieces of octopus as six people were eating. Most at the table got salads and you can add protein. A beet salad or apple and cheese one starts at $15 and the proteins will just about double the cost. For that, it is served on an 8" plate and is not large. Desserts are limited to the flourless Chocolate cake that places will just not let die, some churros, a strawberry pistachio cream number and gelato/sorbet. The one thing that gets a star (above what would be a two star experience) was the wagyu pasta that looked delicious. read more

I only knocked one star off because I waited 15 minutes for a server to come to the table -- I had to go to the host stand to ask if anyone had been assigned to me . . . HOWEVER -- once my server arrived, everything went smoothly. Not the best service ever, but with all the food runners, etc., it was fine. Other tables seemed to have more attentive staff, so it could be my guy was just in the weeds. Now the important part -- the FOOD! WOW! I ordered the beet salad, which was fresh, and a beautiful combination of flavors -- beets; fennel; radish; oranges; parmesan and pistachio . . . just goodness graciously delicious! I also had the grilled octopus, which was honestly the best presentation of octopus I've ever had. The protein itself was cooked perfectly -- tender, and not rubbery -- and the sauce was intermittently both spicy and flavorful -- absolutely outstanding. The potatoes, on which the octopus lay, somehow were crispy while still soaking up some of the delicious sauce. The cocktail list is lovely, with a nice selection of mocktails (which I turned back into a cocktail, of course . . .); also a fairly extensive wine list. Highly recommend -- the views are spectacular. I was there at sunset, and it was simply beautiful. I may return tonight! read more

My sister posted- but I post it AGAIN! We were so upset Came to Chicago for a friend's baby shower. We came to this rooftop stop hoping for a great night, but were met with irritation from the start. The hostess gave no clear direction... just said "go in and look around," leaving us feeling unwelcome already. When one of us tried to apologize for sitting at the wrong spot, they were met with a snarky, "Well, it's always nice to meet the hostess." (Note: there were 6 other people in the restaurant. Plenty of open tables.) The whole vibe was one of annoyance toward us just for being there. Would definitely not recommend if you are looking for a welcoming space. read more

Celebrated New Year's Eve with a family dinner, easy parking on a week day . The restaurant is located on the 16th floor with decent city views. Our server Zared was very friendly and enthusiastic about giving us recommendations on the menu . We got complimentary bubbly which was nice . My husband got a beer the kids got their strawberry lemonade and I got a bourbon with blackberries and vanilla flavor which I didn't like so exchanged it for an old fashioned. The food was disappointing! The only good dishes were the pull apart bread and bolognese pasta. We got the mussels not good , very chewy, paella was not the best and chicken was juicy but flavorless . The churros and tres leches were okay. the strawberry tres leches cake is so worthy of the cover position on this post: vanilla cake soaked in sweetened milk with a strawberry compote filling topped with marscapone, even more strawberries, and candied pistachios I really love how they pulled back on the sugar in the cake itself so that each mouthful was balanced and allowed you to taste each component (rather than having a overwhelming sugar rush) bone marrow was great too - seasoning was on point and the crunchy breadcrumbs on top added a nice contrasts to the buttery bone marrow. (their onion jam was to die for ) the service staff was so attentive even though I went at a very weird time and there was no one else at the restaurant. they had just opened and the weather was too cold for the rooftop patio to be open so im definitely excited to go back and see their rooftop! read more

I walked in the restaurant, and the ambiance automatically set the mood. I felt like I was on a European summer vacation--and the hospitality of the workers was top tier. My group's favorite was the cast iron manchego bread--personally not mine because I'm not the biggest bread lover, but it was really good. It melts in your mouth and the melted butter and cheese complimented each other really well! For our entrees, my group of four shared three viands, which was a pretty portion of food, plus one more appetizer on their seasonal menu (the savory churros). The savory churros was giving charcuterie board vibes--it was wrapped in what I think was prosciutto (?), and drizzled with truffle honey. Overall, pretty solid, but not mind-blowing. The ossobuco was my personal favorite, and the portion was HUGE. The wagyu bolognese was pretty fire, although I think it could've used a little more seasoning. We also got the paella style risotto and the flavor was SO good, but the ham and chicken were slightly dry and overcooked (in my group's opinion). But all the dishes we got were all crowd pleasers and I would recommend. For dessert, we got churros and a limited edition strawberry chocolate tart, and both were fire--especially the strawberry chocolate tart. My review oscillates between a 4.5-5/5 stars, but I would for sure go again in the future, hopefully for a happy hour when it starts being nice out again in Chicago! read more

Stopped by Seville with a group of friends for restaurant week. We made reservations online and were seated without a wait. The online booking system does not have an option for parties bigger than 4, so you will have to enter the correct party size in the note or contact the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the 16th floor with rooftop views. The restaurant is decorated with vivid colors and has low, warm lighting. They had two options for dinner: $42 and $59 menus. The main difference is that the $42 menu had pasta entrees and the $59 had protein entrees. I chose the $59 menu. I started with the Estrella beer braised clams and mussels. It was a generous amount of clams and mussels with served with bread. The sauce was amazing - super flavorful from the sausage and herbs. I highly recommend this appetizer. Truffle sacchetti was the second course. I didn't enjoy this dish as it was a bit bland. For entree, I ordered the 7oz filet mignon, which was served with market vegetables. I thought it was strange that the server did not ask anyone for the preferred doneness, but the steak was served perfectly medium rare. I loved that they served with roasted garlic. The smoked chili butter had so much flavor and paired very well with the steak. This was definitely my favorite part of the meal. I had the tres leches for dessert. The cake was a bit dense for a tres leches. I will note that the server was a bit too over attentive, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the timing of our food was way off, where our first and second came out at the same time, but the entree took a very long time. The server also randomly decided to start to tell us information about each of our desserts while we were halfway through eating it. Just a bit of a strange experience with service. Kicked off our restaurant week with Seville tonight. I was excited to come here as this is a newer restaurant with a menu that's right up my alley. It's normal to feel a bit skeptical about new restaurants and especially wondering if the staff will be able to handle something like restaurant week for the first year, but I was surprised at how efficient everything was tonight. You enter from the outside (clear signage for Seville), and head to the "basement" level. Upon arrival, there's free coat check and an explanation on how to get up to the restaurant from the elevator. Service: Our waiter (name started with a D) was super attentive the entire dinner. He came and explained both the a la carte menu as well as the restaurant week menu. Throughout the night he came and checked with us almost every course to see how we were liking things. We never had to wait long for him to come by which was great because we're honestly used to waiting forever to catch waiter's attention at other places. Water was refilled often (despite there being a carafe at the table), dishes and silverware were cleared and replaced within minutes, and the next course was brought out in perfect timing by other staff. You can definitely tell that everyone working had eyes on every table and worked well to keep everything efficient. My husband and I aren't ones to really lounge around at restaurants, so we can appreciate things moving fluidly to get in and out. As far as the food goes, this will unexpectedly likely be one of the best deals we saw for Restaurant Week. Looking at the a la carte menu, the 7oz filet is around $52, so for $7 more, you get two more food options plus a dessert. Food: We both ordered the House Pork Belly Bacon, Truffle Pasta, 7oz filet mignon, and churro bites. Honestly? Everything was soooooo good. Great presentation, perfect temperature, not overly or under seasoned, and absolutely worth the value. Sometimes, multiple dishes came out with others, and the rest took far longer. I can't remember the exact name of the drink, but it has blackberry and bourbon. Either was it was an outstanding cocktail. Now for the food. The jamon and cheese croquettes were simple but delicious. If I had to explain them, they taste like a fried ham and cheese sandwich. The beet salad had goat cheese, candied pistachios, and other fresh and fragrant vegetables and fruit. Normally, salad is an afterthought , but this dish was something more than just common salad. Very good arrangement of flavors. Next was the wagyu bolognese. This dish was my favorite. Very nice portions and great pasta covered in a spicy savory bolognese. I would absolutely get this on a regular basis. The desert was the strawberry tres leches. It was very sweet and not for everyone I would say. Stopped by this new spot for restaurant week and was surprised by the quality of service and food. Vibe is bright colors and greens and wicker with accents that are supposed to evoke southern Spain. Tapas style dishes had no duds at all, from salty-crunchy ham & cheese croquets to the deviled eggs. My Mezcal cocktail had a mini-skewer of tomato, basil, and fresh mozzarella. What. The Moroccan wings fell off the bone with unique spice. The duck-sausage pasta was creamy and comforting and the portions were reasonably sized. Our server was effortlessly warm, on point with service timing and menu descriptions.
