I wanted purple, which I was told didn't really exist. A friend recommended Brad as being a great "colored stone guy" so we looked him up and I'm very glad we did! My fiancé emailed Brad and told him exactly what we were looking for. Brad had us send in a few examples of settings and colors of stone we liked, and then he found a great assortment of purple sapphires for us to come and see. Once we'd picked a stone, Brad sent us an assortment of photos of sample settings. Fiancé made the final selections and was told the ring would take two weeks. Brad was very patient, helpful, and easy to work with. We felt we were being dealt with fairly and honestly. The ring was finished on schedule. The ring is more beautiful than the one I had in my mind. The sapphire is a bright, sparkly and unique purple hue, and the setting is meticulously detailed. We are both really happy, and highly recommend calling Brad Goldman.

SASH is one of them. He's nice on the outside, but he's good at fooling new customers. I gave him the benefit of the doubt based on his reviews and trusted him. NEVER ignore your gut. He is indeed a SCAMMER that has been fooling people for decades. You'll realize that after the great conversation he has with you. They will try to remove this review but I was a real customer. Believe the other reviewers telling you the same. I brought in several pieces of jewelry for repair along with tipping Sash, expecting professional, long-lasting work based on the reviews. Unfortunately, within approximately two months, ALL OF MY JEWLERY BROKE/FELL APART. I was SO disappointed because the purpose of having jewelry repaired is to ensure that it is fixed properly and lasts. The quality of the workmanship is EXTREMELY POOR. He then proceeds to blame his poor workmanship on your jewlery (similar to what others said here). That was NOT the case. My pieces are all genuine and well-made. I've had pieces repaired decades ago that have never split open like this. In my opinion, Sash came across as VERY misleading. He talks and distracts you with conversation. He spoke about family and friends, who seem to be the ones receiving the highest level of care (and the ones writing the good reviews), while new customers receive poor service. He also intentionally adds on additional charges without confirming with the customer, that was fine with me, but at least provide the service you charged for. I am posting this review so that other customers can make an informed decision before spending their money here. If you are looking for reliable jewelry repairs, I would recommend considering the other jewelry repair businesses on the same floor. I went to another guy and he did a fantastic job. I regret spending so much money and hope this review helps other potential customers avoid a similar experience.

Although I was anxious about working remotely on something so important, and second guessing every aspect of the design and stone, Eddie was kind, patient and responsive. He answered all of my questions (and there were many!) with understanding and great humor too. The work was also done quickly, but not at the expense of quality. I believe their passion for jewelry and great service demonstrates they aren't just a typical jeweler, but rather a master craftsmen. The end result was absolutely stunning!! I wish I could post pictures here to show, because again, words cannot express how beautiful the ring turned out. My fiance got my engagement ring from Eddie/Diamond Traces....all the planning and design was done via email and mail as Eddie is in Miami, and we live in NYC. My ring turned out absolutely beautiful and my fiance has nothing but great things to say about Eddie. Fast forward to being engaged, the ring is too big. I looked around NYC to bring to a jeweler, but just felt really uncomfortable leaving it somewhere i don't know... So i contacted Eddie and off the ring went back to Miami. Mind you.... I was putting the most beautiful thing I've ever owned in the mail and shipping hundreds of miles to get my ring sized. Eddie answered every email extremely quickly and talked me off the ledge about shipping a ring to Miami. I sent the ring on Thursday, today is Monday and it's already on it's way home! The diamond world is overwhelming, and trusting the person you are working with is paramount.
