I had my great-grandmother's center diamond custom set initially in NYC and the craftsmanship was poor. There were many issues with the setting, and I was looking to get it completely redone (the right way!) I was recommended Henry's Fine Jewelry by a friend and it was the BEST decision ever. I am so, so happy with how my engagement ring turned out. Henry redesigned my setting (and was very polite in saying that he wasn't "fixing issues, but making improvements") and explained the whole process to me. He created a 3d printed model and had me try it on before casting the final product. I unfortunately missed him when I actually picked up the ring, but David was just as helpful. The entire staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I am so happy to have found a jeweler I can trust. My only regret is not going to them initially for the reset. I have a 5 year history with Henry's Fine Jewelry. Since then I've made two happy purchases from this wonderful establishment. A white gold name plate and nearly pure gold estate sale bracelet. Sometime in January/February I went to Henry's to build an engagement ring because I planned to propose sometime in April to my girlfriend of 10 years. Sure, I could have purchased the ring in Miami where I currently reside but Miami has a lot of unscrupulous dealers and honestly my trust level with them is set to zero. And given my prior history with Henry's, it was a natural choice. During the ring building process Wendy was absolutely wonderful and she even took the initiative to ingratiate me with a video call to review my diamond selections. To make a long story short I was highly impressed with the ring when I saw it in person... truly truly stunning! I said to myself damn this is a ONE BAD MUTHAFUCKA!!!! How could she not say YES!!! And she DID! Enjoy some photos of the ring and her well manicured hands. Ring specs: Solitaire, cushion modified brilliant, 1.52 carats, SI1 (but Henry's thinks its actually VS2), I color, excellent polish, very Good symmetry, Cut looks excellent in my opinion although GIA normally doesnt rate cuts for cushions. Finally an honest jeweler!!! I went to 2 other jewelers to see how much to solder my platinum engagement ring and wedding bands together and was quoted between $200-$400. I went to Henry's even though they were over 30 minutes away because I read their good reviews online and saw they did repairs on site. I came into the store and was greeted by a friendly woman. I showed her my rings and she brought out the jeweler to look at them. The jeweler said it would take him about an hour to do and it would be $75! So for less than half the price of another jeweler, he soldered my platinum rings together and polished them to like brand new condition while I waited! Brought my wife's engagement ring in for a repair, one of the prongs holding the diamond had broken (so i thought). Upon further inspection in the store they had found that two of prongs were actually broken! We were very lucky to still have a diamond!! I was told that it would be about a week for the repair and actually got a call sooner than later!!! Extremely fair price for the rebuilding of all four prongs and re-dipping of the ring! So happy to have found a nearby jeweler that's honest, friendly and sells and makes beautiful pieces of jewelry! The first time we visited Henry's was to (hopefully) fix a necklace my husband had bought me off Etsy. David stated he could fix it but mentioned that it would continue to break due to how delicate the chain was. He offered me several gold chain options but again added he could fix the original if I didn't want to spend money on a new chain. I opted to go with a new chain because the pendant is a sentimental piece and I didn't want the old chain to keep breaking. When I picked up the necklace with the new chain, it was a little longer than expected. David shortened it without hesitation. I haven't taken off the necklace since! I recently went back to look for a gold choker chain to match the necklace David fixed. I came in with some pictures from online jewelry stores and worked with Wendy to see if we could create something similar. I ended up picking out a chain that matched perfectly with my original and had David add extension rings so that I could adjust the lengths. I brought in a sentimental, somewhat old bracelet that saw better days. It feel off my wrist and before it was found, it was apparently run over by a vehicle. I brought it to Henry's to see if it could be repaired and the answer was "yes!" Liza assisted me and she was very knowledgeable in what needed to be done. She fixed the latch and clasp, which was loose and faulty, and the body of the bracelet was fixed and cleaned in some way that you could never tell it was run over! I got it back as good as new! I'm so thankful to have it back since it is part of a set that I've had for years. My husband and I went to this store to have his watch fixed. It was an expensive watch and hard to open. Initially, I went to some other jewelry in New Providence. They could not open it and scratched the watch. I was surprised at the great customer service at Henry's. They had it opened and fixed within a few minutes. Luckily, it was just the battery. I went to Henry's to have my engagement ring resized. The woman actually informed me that I didn't need to resize it, I just needed to add in stabilizers to keep my ring in place.
