Such a wonderful selection of Gia diamonds which gave me more confidence that they cared to to represent exceptionally high quality stones and add to that they also cared to give their customers the highest quality of service. I was especially interested in looking at estate jewelry and was thrilled at the large selection so beautifully presented. I found so many pieces that I liked, two of which I purchased: a sweet diamond necklace set in gold with 18c gold chain and a lovely pair of 14c gold double loop earrings to match. Both for around $1,000 which I thought reasonable. I am very pleased with both and would return in a flash if I lived nearby and may do so when I return to that area. (Many excellent wineries in the area, another reason to return)! What a jewel of a store, really top of the line! (He even hand-makes the chains that his beautiful pendants hang from). The shop is run by Fernando and his wife. They are honest, accommodating and all around great people. I brought in some stones and gold that I was not wearing. Fernando took what I had and made me a gorgeous necklace out of the materials I gave him. I was able to keep the sentiment of the jewelry, but design to my own taste. He can also recreate any piece if you happen to lose something or see it elsewhere. We also needed silver flatware appraised for insurance purposes. I decided to stop by Ferdinand's and was beyond pleased. The moment you walk in, the husband and wife owners treat you like old friends. They are friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. They appraised everything and fixed my wedding band, which had a lose diamond, for a fraction of what others quoted me for just the flatware appraisal! The appraisal was done quickly and accurately. They even remembered my face when I came to pick up my rings and asked about topics we spoke of on my first visit-so personable and sweet :) The store is extremely clean and welcoming. They have a beautiful assortment of all kinds of jewelry. I only wish I had more money to buy all their beautiful things! If I am ever on the hunt for a one of a kind piece, this will be my first stop. The owners are trustworthy and patient. I was able to see them interact with a couple picking out a wedding band and it was very special. Bill showed him several loose stones and even let my sweetie look at them through the scope so he could understand why the stones were rated as they were - a very cool experience for him! He was also shown a selection of settings that fit what he was looking for, but he didn't end up selecting any of them. As luck would have it, Bill had just completed a ring in a custom setting for someone else and had it to show my fiance. It was a one-of-a-kind, hand forged piece that was very unique. It wasn't a hard sell for Bill as my fiance thought it was absolutely perfect for me. Two weeks later, it was complete and I got a surprise proposal! The service my fiance received was just exactly what my experiences at Ferdinand have always been. The staff is so courteous and knowledgeable, and they take the time to really explain to you what you're looking at. Bill also explained the information on the appraisal so we wouldn't have any problems when we went to insure the ring. They made a nerve-wracking experience much easier for my sweetie, and I am so happy with the way my ring turned out. I really can't say enough nice things about Ferdinand Jewelers!

I happen to stop by a local jeweler while waiting to get my nails done. I asked to get my enganement and wedding ring appraised. Wedding band was appraised double. Engagememt ring was appraised less that the purchase price. Yes its been 2yrs before I got my rings appraised but I honestly thought the ads were honest about the appraisals been double. Since there claim to only buy clean diamonds. Dec 27 2022 I spoke to the Steve (Mgr) he was very direct, intensive and firmly says that it stated on the back of the receipt that only $3k below is valves double. When I told him you are being firm with me he says you are not letting me talk. You're upset. Yes I'm disappointed. Steve then firmly says will you now let me explain. I said no where in the video ads so it say that. I had also mentioned this saying double the appraisal at Jewelry Exchange in Hackensack,NJ. The jeweler agreed a well. It all boils down to honesty. When I do get an upgrade next year I will be sure to get the appraisal right away.
