I went in to sell my tiny wedding band from my ex. It was sitting in my drawer for 4 years and I had completely forgot about it. Super tiny with like 1/10 k of diamonds. I was expecting to get $15 and he gave me more than double! I'm so happy I didn't go to a check cashing place to pawn it. When I walked in Ryan, maybe the owner, greeted me with a smile. He was more than happy to help me and spend time explaining things even though they were closing. I told him why I was there and he immediately gave me a mini Poland Spring bottle of cold water. Immediately I was impressed. That type of hospitality is HUGE in my book! He weighed it while talking to me and told me how much it was worth. Of course I took the $$$. The ring was garbage to me. While he was helping me I couldn't help but notice the GORGEOUS items they had for sale. Wow, just stunning.....and the prices were right! I urge you to check this place out. I can almost guarantee you'll be impressed. Support small local businesses vs big companies who mostly care about their bottom line instead of making customers happy. I will definitely go there if I'm looking for a nice piece of jewelry.

After months of research, he decided to give Kiky Jewelers a try. He came in contact with Mr. Kim, the store owner. He was extremely nice, respectful, understanding, and helpful in answering all our questions. He never once pressured us into a purchase, a HUGE plus! What we appreciate most is his sincerity and absolute honest opinion and knowledge of diamonds. We learned so much about diamonds, that we now educate all our friends. We tell them all the details about diamonds that Mr. Kim taught us....WAY more detail than any other jeweler we went to (mainly because all they cared about was a sale and not the overall quality and investment of a diamond). To us, this was a HUGE investment and we wanted to make sure we were getting the best diamond we could possibly get for our budget. Since we were calling from LA and never got to see the diamond, we had to trust him. We had already seen so many diamonds and did a year of research, so we knew what we were missing was an genuine opinion on what is really a good investment and of course the BEST PRICE. Mr. Kim eliminated any uncertainties and doubts we had. I don't know many people that would do what we did, but with the great communication, GIA report, and Mr. Kim's expertise, we finally settled on a diamond that we LOVED. There was a Tacori setting we were dying to have and Kiky was able to set the diamond on the gorgeous setting for us. He even made sure that the GIA number was showing next to the prongs so that we could inspect it ourselves with a magnifier when we received it (a little piece of mind to verify it was the right diamond on the GIA paper). We received our ring in the mail- certified mail of course. When we opened it.....WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! It was the most beautiful ring we have ever seen. We knew right away that we made the right decision to go with Kiky Jewelers. Right away we took it to a local jewelry place to verify the GIA number. They were very impressed with the diamond and we got it verified. I get soooo many compliments on my ring which always brings a smile to my face. We even recommended a friend to get his engagement ring with Kiky Jewelers as well. He had a great experience with Mr. Kim and found his perfect diamond! I can't wait to see it! It seemed like a very straightforward and easy repair. A "genius" who works there told my husband that my $500 solid gold Saks Fifth Avenue earrings were not real gold, were cheap and should be thrown away because repairing them would cost more than buying new ones. He also said that "actually, they only deal with expensive jewelry here," so my husband shouldn't have brought them in. WOW! Well, I had to take my earrings to a different jewelry store (I chose J.E.T. Jewelry), where they confirmed that my earrings were indeed gold and did a beautiful job repairing the broken part! Beware of the "professionals" at Kiky Jewelers who apparently can't tell real gold from fake and claim to deal only with very expensive jewelry. Would I ever trust them with my more expensive pieces after this experience? God, no! And neither should you!

I went to this store to look around and see their diamonds they had in stock. I did all the reading i could to try and ascertain some type of knowledge before going to the store. That day i was assisted by Steven, who was knowledgeable, eager, and friendly. I ended up purchasing a vvs2 1.55 diamond for a decent price and left somewhat satisfied with my purchase. Later that day i was still looking and found a vvs1 1.72 on their site. Early the next morning i called about the said diamond and Jennifer the store manager told me that they didnt have it in the store but she could order it for me and have it sent to the store. I was a little reluctant, thinking that there would be an issue because i had already purchased one the day before but luckily for me the jeweler wasnt in that day,so i didnt take my purchase home that day/ Fast forward one more day for it to be shipped from colorado. I get a call saying it had come in and i went to look at the stone. It was bigger and had better clarity and for $100 more it was a steal! That day i was very pleased and very happy with what i had purchased. i picked a setting and then i had to wait for the stone to be set, so i went across the street to eat and kill time while we waited. Finished eating went back unfortunately it wasnt ready yet, while we patiently waited i asked if we could just look at possible wedding bands. Then it dawned on me had to wait on the diamond to be set so we could look at how the band would look with the engagement ring. The stone was set and it came back.It looked amazing! This time Laden/Ladan assisted my fiance, not too sure which spelling is correct but she came back with 2 diamond wedding bands.Bought those 2 as well. Also informed me if i got it shipped i wouldnt have to pay taxes because i lived in Florida. In the end i had no buyers remorse and felt extremely lucky about how all the events transpired. I guess it was just meant to be, and that the diamond i ended up with, was meant to be on the hand of the woman i would spend the rest of my life with. I know the post is quite long but I did not feel, like I was being forced or pushed into a position to buy anything. It was rather refreshing and I had to write this review and thank every single person that assisted me and my fiance. I also was asked to move, because of another couple who was looking/purchasing something. Not a big deal, especially during these covid times. If it was or wasnt their protocol who cares... Making people feel safe and socially distanced was ok even if it took a whole 10 secs to walk 6-8 feet away to the other side to be assisted. THANK YOU JEWELERY EXCHANGE IN HACKENSACK IT WAS SINCERELY A PLEASURE! I look forward to doing business with you again in the near future! read more

Read the reviews posted by Paul M. and Andy H.and for the life of me I cannot understand where these two gentlemen are coming from. In the past year I have made two purchases from " The Jewelry Factory" in Hackensack, N.J. and am very satisfied with both purchases and the way my wife and I were treated by, what we can only describe, as a very friendly and informed staff. Although we did have a problem with a broken post on the ring we purchased a year ago the Jewelry Factory folks made it right at no extra charge. What else can a customer/s ask from a business establishment? In both instances the appraisals on both Items far exceeded the amount we paid for them. What's not to like about that? The appraisals were made by a registered "gemoligist" located several hundred miles from the Hackensack store and had no knowledge of where we made the purchases. Perhaps Paul M. and Andy H. were at another Jewelry Factory in another Hackensack, NJ. Phil & Rosalie G. read more

I had a absolutely great experience with the assistant manager Steven on 1/12/21. He displayed great professionalism, patience and attitude. He should have trainer for new employees.along with a raise. Manager Jennifer was also great assisting in negotiating a fair price that was close to our budget. Been traveling over 2 years to the jewelry exchange. All the staff were courteous and helpful but we had the pleasure of being helped by a young well mannered Helpful gentleman named Navid. We came back again a week later to change the band completely and they honored the credit for the exchange and did not charge us anything to reset the new ring. The 6 month layaway is extremely relevant in this economy. THE other reviews are NOT up to date. GO AND CHECK IT OUT. We are educated consumers and had been to three other stores before coming here.
