They did an amazing job on my engagement ring for my fiancé. Wouldn't go to anybody else for my jewelry.

I realized when I left that I didn't have the extra links and returned, he gave them to me upon request, but he should've known to return them in the first place. I realized afterwords that the original 18k clasp wasn't returned, he had kept it! Today, I brought in my sister's chain that broke, he fixed it and the solder was so bad, I asked him to do it again, when he brought it back, the solder was noticeably much thinner than the rest of the links, so thin that I wouldn't wear it like that because you risk losing it all together. He told me there is nothing else he can do and to please leave and not return to his shop again. This business is used to dealing with cheap jewelry and people who don't know any better. They can care less of the finished product or sending a customer home knowing the piece is going to break again. Avoid this business at all cost, and if you must use them take pictures of the jewelry you're leaving for referencing purposes and to ensure you're not forgetting anything. If you read other reviews, you'll get a better sense of this place. Any good reviews are posted by their own staff. Basically predators. Shameful.

TURN AROUND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!! This guy is a liar and a cheat. When his smooth…read moretalking techniques don't work he turns into a hard-ass and pours on the high pressure sales tactics. DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD TO THIS MAN OR TO THE MEN NEXT DOOR AT BLACKWELL'S. RULES TO REMEMBER WHEN SELLING GOLD: BEFORE YOU ENTER ANY STORE: *Divide your gold into like piles 14k, 18k, 22k ....... you may need a loop or magnifying glass to read the karat markings, if you have an iPhone you can triple tap the home button and it turns your camera into a magnifying glass. *Record the weight of each pile in Grams and DWT(Pennyweight) Most Gold Buyers weigh gold in DWT but some use grams so it pays to record both. *Go to http://www.goldcalc.com enter in the weight and Karat of the gold and click enter. The site uses the most current gold price and calculates the true melt value of your gold. REMEMBER that unless your taking this gold to a refiner you will not get the true melt value of the gold. Use this info to calculate what you think is a fair price for your gold. *The price of gold is always fluctuating, make sure you recalculate your numbers on goldcalc.com just prior to entering the store. I do it right on my phone. WHEN YOUR IN THE STORE: *Gold buyers can smell a sucker a mile away. So walk in with confidence. You've done your homework and YOU WILL NOT BE RIPPED OFF! *Tell them you have gold to sell. Tell them the weight, karat, melt value and how much you expect to get for it. *They will ask to see the gold. Lay each pile of gold out on the table. * DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE YOUR GOLD INTO THE BACK OR OUT OF SITE!!!!!!! ACID TESTING AND WEIGH OF THE GOLD NEEDS TO BE DONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!! * DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO MIX UP THE GOLD INTO 1 PILE, KEEP EVERYTHING SEPARATED BY KARAT *The gold will need to be tested for purity. This is done with what's called an acid test. They take the gold rub it into a black course stone then drop a small amount of acid onto the rub mark. *Then they will weigh the gold. *Then they will tell you what they will pay for it. *If the price seems fair sell it. If it's way off ask them to break down how they did there calculations. If your not satisfied take your gold elsewhere. There are tons of gold buyers, don't fall victim to high pressure sales tactics. Example of a good gold deal: -You have 50 DWT of 14k -Melt value of 50 DWT of 14k = $1,938.00 -Melt Value of 1 DWT 14k = $38.76 -Gold buyer offers you $35 per DWT - 50 DWT * $35 = $1750 In a deal like this both parties should walk away happy. Shop around, do your homework, and don't be bullied by these fucks!!! Good luck!!!!!
