I got the Joy Bundle manicure. I even told them during the appointment it looked bumpy, and they (multiple technicians came by to see) didn't do anything and fixed just one nail. I waited for 1 hr to dry it and it still clumped with finger prints the way it did. I have paid less for much better. Do NOT get any non-gel here. They do a rushed, bad job and don't fix it even after feedback. I think the technicians are bad with non-dip gel, as dip gel with designs look fine. They did an amazing job for my friend. Please do better for other services.

She's so funny, friendly, and genuinely such a great person. We have a nice time small chatting during my appointments. She also does an amazing job with my pedicures! I've gotten gel-x before and had them last three weeks without much lifting, so this was pretty disappointing.

I…read morefound a few nail artists I wanted to try (all the ones who do Japanese nail art seem to be in the South Bay area btw) and was able to get an appointment here. Let me get this out of the way: I cry a little inside when it's time to get my wallet out lol. My appointments here take at least twice as long and cost at least twice as much as the previous salon I went to. Yuka though is upfront with her pricing. There are fees for paying by anything other than cash it seems (again, it makes me cry a little inside), but it's made clear in the confirmation email and on the pricing menu that's displayed in her salon. Yes, it's pricey, but the work is meticulous, there's zero peeling, and I haven't had any charms come off at all. In addition, their designs suit my style and I get along with Yuka. Another thing to note: they're good about following Covid protocol. The two stations inside are socially distanced, and they usually keep the door to their suite open. They clean and sanitize their stations between customers and have clients sanitize their hands upon arrival. They limit people entering the building so you have to call when you arrive and wait to be let in by Yuka or Marie (unless a building worker is there to do that). In addition, Yuka's station has an iPad that plays things like Kpop or America's Got Talent for your entertainment which is nice as appointments take long. As for parking, there is a garage around the corner with plenty of free parking. I've been pretty satisfied with my experiences here and find myself often staring at my nails in admiration. I no longer feel the need to try any of the other nail artists in the area and feel I've got my new go-to nail art salon!

We reached out to Yuka on Yelp, and she was able to help us pick out designs and schedule a pair appointment. One of the things that drew me to Yuka's (besides her incredible designs!) was the option for a pair appointment, as my friend and I wanted to experience our first mani's together. Make sure you know what you want before booking--it's helpful to have inspo pics on hand, or you can choose from the many designs posted on Yelp or her Instagram. We both went with a single color nails, with one accent nail. The overall experience was quite quick, but we never felt rushed at any point. Yuka and Marie were efficient, gentle, and patient with our first-time shyness and nerves :) I seriously can't stop looking at my hands and touching my nails! I received so many compliments on the adorable dry flower accent and I never want my nails to grow out. I feel like I couldn't stop myself from gushing, "sooo cuuuteeee!!" every five minutes. I normally get my nails and pedicure done together, but this time I just wanted a Gel-X refill, almond shape, and freestyle design. I had no idea I'd leave with my favorite set yet! I've tried chrome nails before and was never completely impressed, but I trusted Queen's creative vision, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations! Watching her work her magic was honestly the best part. She started with a brown base, added chrome that transformed it into a vibrant orangey metallic shade, then layered red over it. Each step was more beautiful than the last! The final result is a stunning cherry-burgundy chrome with incredible depth and a glossy, mirror-like finish that shifts beautifully in different lighting. I seriously can't stop looking at them! I also got a much-needed cuticle cleanup, which made such a difference! My nail beds look noticeably cleaner and healthier, and they feel so much better, too. I loved watching Queen's creativity flourish and seeing her vision come together so beautifully. Between the shaping, cuticle care, and gorgeous color transitions, she truly outdid herself! Brought my niece here for a mani/pedi, and got a mani/pedi myself. First of all, the staff kept trying to upsell me -- insisting that my 10 yr old niece needed a gel set instead of regular, etc. It was so burdensome to have to refuse over and over again all the extras that I was very clear about not wanting in the first place. Second, they became so unfriendly once I told them I decided not to do the more expensive catseye polish. I wasn't even able to relax because the whole experience became so tense and awkward. Finally, my nail tech didn't seem to quite understand what I wanted. Every time I tried to explain, she over corrected, and eventually I gave up. For example, I asked for a rectangular nail shape with rounded edges. She gave me sharp square nails. I asked for her to round the edges. She filed so much they became round.
