I cannot more highly recommend this location. Not only does this restaurant serve healthy, fresh, delicious and authenticly flavorful food.....it has a wonderful ambience filled with all the smells you could expect from freshly baked, chopped and grilled food. I would not hesitate to eat here daily and if I did I would be healthier. They serve several vegetable side dishes that are exquisite. This was my first visit to Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, I really enjoy Mediterranean food and try to always support local restaurants, and this is a new local restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience. The portions are a bit small and I was mostly impressed with the lamb kebab, the beef and chicken kebabs were a bit tough and not as flavorful. We came in around 3:30 on a Saturday. This is a very clean restaurant and it is beautifully decorated. The staff are gracious and welcoming. Seriously, super nice. Our food was served quickly. We had the following menu item: hummus, beef shawarma wrap with fries, chicken gyro with a green salad, beef Kebabs with rice and a salad, and 3 different baklava. Being raised with this food from the homeland and my family, it definitely is the most authentic tasting of all the mediterranean restaurants in Wichita. Their Hummus is second to none, much better than Meddys and Bella Luna, etc. If you love garlic, you'll love the taste of it! Their chicken shawarma and fattoush are also the best in town. My only complaint is their portion sizes are fairly small. If you are looking for a ton of food to eat, you may want to order extra.
