Then explanations changed?…read more We asked Your Crawlspace Guys to come back out after they worked on a wall, but it was still showing movement- we were told that they didn't know the problem was to the extent that it was(1 inch cracks appearing throughout as time went on in the summer) didn't know so much shifting would occur, and didn't have the tools needed to truly fix the problem, but that it would be a reoccurring issue due to the groundwater levels and yearly settling. Other back and forth continued for some time, and once a dissatisfactory review was posted online, their explanation changed. It changed to they knew the issues at hand, but they weren't hired for THAT, so they didn't fix it. Instead of acknowledging my complaints individually, the owner places blame on me and apologised for ME "being unrealistic" - AFTER THEIR OWN WORK INVOICE SAID IT WOULD DO SOMETHING THAT IT DIDN'T. They also claims they did the work for the sellers, and not even me and my partner....as the estimates, and invoices have my name listed on it, as well as my partners(name highlighted in green on attached photo). If they really didn't do the work for us, I would have expected him to hit back with "I couldn't find you in the system" like they have on other negative reviews. I also would have expected them to decline to even come back out to our house, if that was the case. The owner also claimed the company replaced a vapor barrier for me at some point, maybe they meant at closing?? but their response made it seem like they did it as some sort of courtesy sometime after the intial work was done. They either failed to communicate yet another thing, or they made up info to try to make a negative google review look better. We might never‍ know lol. They have so many positive reviews that our experience truly has us scratching our heads as to why our experience has sucked. If my partner worked on someone's car, but the same car came was back within 6 months, with even more issues, and all he had to say "sorry your car is failing, but I didn't know it was going to get to THIS extent, and I don't even have tools for this", he would still be held responsible in his position. It's been nothing but a headache for the last year, I can't go into my garage without feeling frustration and wishing we had gotten bids elsewhere instead of taking the route we did. I recommend going elsewhere for foundation specific issues(they do fine with crawl space work), especially if you're getting work done before closing/using escrow. That, or make sure to physically be present during all conversations and scheduling regarding what's needed so that questions can be asked and stories, blame and explanations can't be shifted later.

I was in an auto accident and my car got totaled. I could not do a deep cleaning because of my accident. I hired Quigley's Handy Hands. When he arrived I shared that I wanted to have my Nin knack to be dusted, baseboards and cabinets wiped down; window and frames to also be wiped down and my bathrooms and bedrooms to get cleaned. And vacuum and wash the floors I was not feeling well and said I needed to take a nap. I fell asleep for over 3 hours. I woke up and he did not put away anything that de dusted. He left them scattered all over my living room floor and couch. He said he wanted $250 dollars. I said we agreed that I would pay him once the job was completed. I felt pressured to pay, so I did. I said you did not even finish the job. He promised that he would come back the next day between 7:30 and 8:30. I did not hear from him and he got to my house I think around 10:30. I asked him why did he not call or text me saying he was going to be late. When I asked him he acted like it was no big deal. I shared the day before I had Dr. appointments and was only available in the early morning. He did not do the job. Given the fact that I had given him 250.00 and the job was not done I was not going to let him clean my house without being there. He said he would come the next day between 7:30 and 8:00. I did not hear anything from him. I left him a message to not to come. Although he did come around 10:30. I felt like I was ripped off. I was frustrated. I looked around the house. None of the floors were vacuumed or washed, the baseboards and cabinets were cleaned, no shelves had been dusted. Nothing was done that I could see. He did nothing in the bedrooms or bath rooms. I tried to start to clean but was in too much pain and I needed to stop. I sent him a text or voice mail saying that I had decided to have him clean the house since I payed him. On Saturday he send me a text saying he would be at my house on Sunday in the morning. I did not want to pressure him so I did not question what time it in the morning. I had looked at the time and it was around 12:30. No communication from him. I called to ask him what happened. He got a hold of me, and left a message that he could not find his keys. I got the message a few hours later. I told him that I was going to be home. Never called, texted or came. I shared that I was out $250.00 and my house has not gotten cleaned. I told him I was thinking about taking him to small claims. He sent me a text saying I " was not listening or did not understand what he was saying. We received three quotes for the repairs, and One Speed Services stood out immediately. They were fairly priced, incredibly informative, and professional--so we hired them. They handled a large, labor-intensive job for us, all while working around a very tight schedule with our buyers. The scope of work included containment and removal of contamination, installation of a new vapor barrier, rodent exclusion in the crawl space, replacement of a damaged vent termination, and installation of vent wells around the entire house. The technicians showed up on time every day, dressed in uniform, and arrived in company vehicles. They were clean, conscientious, and respectful--never leaving behind a trace of debris.
